I made a round challah for Rosh Hashanah !!

Any suggestions on what I can make with some pears? My grandma's sister gave me a whole bunch from her tree and I have no idea what to do with them

Ohh this is such a good question, and I love desserts with fruit in them but somehow i’ve never made anything with pears ?? My immediate idea is an apple pie or something like that but replace it with pears ! You can also make jam with it, and making any type of preserves can be a very fun activity, plus having so many pears means you can make jam for all your loved ones !

It’s been a little while since my planter box post, but here’s an update: a hummingbird has been visiting the flowers every few days or so !! I would share a photo but he always leave when I try to get one :(

I went to my cousin’s wedding the other night, and it was so sweet seeing her so happy !! Her and her husband are perfect for each other and I’m very happy for them :) It’s always nice attending weddings since Charlotte and I don’t want to get married ourselves, so it’s just an event to honor love but not have it be something we have to plan and manage

#a wedding seems like such a big thing for us to do #jason’s bar mitzvah was overwhelming and all i did was cater !! a whole wedding just seems like a lot #also i think i’m going to start tagging these slightly more personal posts… what about #delia’s diary #yes yes i love it

It’s an issue that I get baby fever so easily 😅 Like I’m never thinking about babies until I see happy parents and their children and then I’m like ‘oh I need a baby Right Now’ and then I go back to never thinking about kids until I see another family. Will I ever have kids ? The world may never know…
