It had been a long time since he’d found himself in good old Los Angeles, but here he is, looking a new murder case straight in the face-- or rather, the lead detective assigned to it. Though frankly, with a mug like that, Holmes has a fleeting thought that he might’ve done it. That’s all it is, though, and he knows better than to trust an intrusive thought until there’s, y’know, ample evidence to back it up.

“Hello, hello, dear fellow! I don’t believe I’ve ever seen you in my few visits here before, so please, kindly supply me with your identification-- or, really, your name will suffice.”
