Conceptus --- A Harrowing Concept?
Conceptus by Brian Herskowitz is a fast-paced suspense/thriller with a strong psychological undercurrent that will keep readers enthralled. The novel centers on Laura Drummond, a detective with the Columbus Police Department presented with a harrowing murder case. The killing of Cindy Mulgrave leaves gruesome clues that places Laura on the track of a revenge killer. Father O'Hara’s death takes the trail to Dr. Avery Milton, a known geneticist. The priest’s connections to an adoption center begs the question: is the killer hunting down those whose decisions predicted his own tortured existence?
Herskowitz’s novel is a page-turner that will keep the audience guessing at every twist and turn. The element of dysfunction is enzymatic throughout the storyline. Laura comes from a dysfunctional family, leading her into an abnormal relationship with her lover Sharon. The victims are connected by unwanted pregnancies compromised by social agencies governed by diverse agendas. The Catholic Church is the dominant faction, and it becomes a paradigm of a family distracted by selfish motives among its members. Herskowitz’s work is as much of a cautionary tale of vengeance as it is a rebuke of family leaders whose abuses permanently damage innocent victims in their charge.
For suspense/thriller fans as well as revenge tragedy aficionados, Conceptus is a worthy addition to the reader’s library.

CORONA 2020 BINGE-WATCHING - BOARD-BREAKING 4.0?
Tumblr media
C’mon, admit it. You probably watched The Karate Kid, and if you did, you may have watched Karate Kid II. Maybe you took a chance on Karate Kid III. After that, we all said Rest in Peace to the series. But wait, there’s more, and you’ll be glad there is.
Ralph Macchio returns as Daniel Larusso, now a successful car dealer with a wife (Courteney Henggeler) and daughter (Mary Mouser). But it’s all about his vanquished rival Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), the poor man’s Chuck Norris,  now a down-and-out alcoholic loser who owns a closed-down dojo in a low-rent strip mall. He rescues Mexican teen Miguel Diaz (Xolo Mariduena) from a group of bullies, then reluctantly takes him on as a student. His estranged son Robbie (Tanner Buchanan) goes to work for Daniel and begins taking lessons at Larusso’s home studio, the Miyagi Dojo. Fueling the rivalry are the returned John Kreese (Martin Kove), Johnny’s villainous sensei, and daughter Samantha (Mouser) falling into a love triangle with Robbie and Miguel.
I gave it a go because I was intrigued by the concept of Cobra Kai being the focal point of the series. I got hooked from the first show, and binge-watched both seasons. Hell, I’m sick and tired of going out and having people beg me to wear a Corona muzzle. The successful gimmick is having the good guys and bad guys doing heel turns every other episode so you don’t know who to root for. It’s also billed as a comedy-drama, which earns the category with humorous script-writing by Jon Hurwitz.
Get the snacks out and kick back, brethren. This is a good one.

Of Hearts And Minds
As of this writing, the Opposition Party is lining up their tenpins for the upcoming primary election of 2020. It appears as a reflection of the feeble Republican campaign to defeat Obama in 2012, and again we see how tables can turn and history repeats itself. Just as in 2012, we see how there is an aggressive campaign to besmirch the incumbent President to enhance the desirability of their comparatively weak candidates. Since the end of the Mueller 'witch hunt' in March, the leftist media is vigorously and relentlessly attacking the Administration at every turn. Every decision is second-guessed, every compromise is vilified as weakness, and every retraction or backtrack is portrayed as ineptitude. Anyone who engages in scholastic debate or studies the art of propaganda can see that the subject is in a no-win situation. Even if one prevails in a life-and-death situation, the experienced debater can find fault in the way with which the life was saved.
Trump has already prevailed in a campaign where his public and private image were nearly impossible to separate. He is already established as one of the richest and most powerful men in the world. His engagements as a sponsor of major events from golf tournaments to beauty pageants have heightened his profile. Beyond that are his roles in theatrical productions ranging from Wrestlemania to Celebrity Apprentice. He was larger than life before entering politics, and winning the Presidency appeared as the crowning achievement of a lifetime. Yet he has proclaimed that his singular reason for becoming President was his desire to 'give something back' in 'making America great again'. There is little doubt that he has lost hundreds of millions of dollars in relinquishing control of his private enterprises over the past three years. It is evident that this is an altruistic vision quest on his part. Yet there is a far bigger picture upon which voters will be required to focus.
This goes beyond the traditional contest between the Republican and Democrat parties. At this juncture, the leftist ideology introduced by Bernie Sanders has been magnified to the point that it has become a struggle between capitalism and socialism. Candidates such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Kamala Harris have openly declared their socialist affiliations. The foundation for such a platform has traditionally drawn upon support from lower-income populations. Only now the economic landscape has been radically altered by the alien invasion. This has been the prime objective for the socialist bloc. Their entire campaign has focused on bringing aliens into the country and giving them voting rights to gain majority victories. Yet if Trump is able to secure the border, the socialists must have a backup plan.
The strategy is to unite minority groups under the socialist banner. The tactic is to advocate government assistance and entitlements in every possible venue. It earns the allegiance of the economically-challenged who will vote for one and all promising to improve their lot. Exacerbating the situation for those who provide voter services is the fact that socialist groups will manipulate the system so that aliens are able to vote despite their non-citizen status. They will also provide transportation for aliens, bringing them from remote hideouts into areas where voting booths are available. This creates a formidable wave of voters, legal and illegal, who will flood voting places in hopes of securing State benefits. It makes the socialist push to eliminate the electoral college even more threatening in narrowing the possibilities for the Moral Majority to make their voices heard.
As it has been since the dawn of man, communities hope to pass along their traditions and legacies to the next generation. Only now there is a question as what will be handed down. Roman Catholic Bishop Fulton J. Sheen delivered a powerful message in his time regarding the threat of socialism to our nation. The Founding Fathers made provision for the separation of Church and State to prevent sectarian takeovers of the government as were common in the Old World. Yet a belief in God is fundamental to the Constitution as it is based on the principle that all men are created equal, implying the existence of a Creator. Beyond that, there is mention of God on our currency and our Pledge of Allegiance. We also swear to tell truth in court and take oaths of office by placing our hands on a Christian Bible.
If we were to remove God from our political society, we lose our moral compass. We lose absolute definitions of right and wrong. All legal values and principles are determined according to legislative departments. These can change along with the incumbent party at any given time on Federal or State levels. At that juncture, Divine Providence is superseded by the power of the State as omnipotent. This takes us down the road built by Karl Marx and paved by Leon Trotsky and other theorists. Religion is the opium of the masses that is disposable once the State is fully established and capable of meeting all social needs. According to Trotsky, this necessitates the abolition of the bourgeois system en route to a perfect egalitarian society. Logic dictates it would render a capitalist system obsolete.
Hopefully this work will have exhausted the areas of discussion supporting American socioeconomics. The free market system is what our society is based on. When the laws and forces of supply and demand are subject to government intervention, the system collapses entirely. It can be argued that there is a distinction between the fair market system and capitalism. Only the government option is a safety measure designed to prevent monopolies. The State does not take over industries, though providing regulations as necessary to protect the public and promote free trade. If a socialist administration ever legislated a government takeover of an industry, such as health care, the economic results could prove catastrophic. The time and money that would be required to buy out existing private institutions, reestablish logistics to support the State system, and transition millions of workers accordingly would be far more than the socialists have likely envisioned. It would have an equally devastating effect on the medical insurance industry, as well as the traumatic backlash on Wall Street. Socialists may insist the end justifies the means. Yet the end never comes if the means involves dismantling the system entire.
Bringing Millennials to this level of understanding is the greatest challenge to conservative Christians in America. According to the leftist press, belief in Christ has plummeted among young Americans as reflected by declining Church attendance. In a 21st century society focused on inclusivity and diversity, they find anything that factors morality into a social equation as discriminatory. Only what they fail to realize is that a generic society turns the individual into a cipher, another face in the crowd that is grouped according to demographics. This is in accordance with New World Order standards regulating society and culture. Commercialism encourages people to buy certain products, use certain facilities and indulge themselves in certain vehicles of entertainment. It also uses public service messages to encourage them to think in a certain way. This conformity is reinforced by an ubiquitous social media network in which people are encouraged to establish an Internet presence to expand their social connectivity. Older people would refer to this as 'putting one's laundry on the street'. It makes younger people more susceptible to backlash on various levels if it is perceived they are straying far from the status quo.
This is where Christian activists have an opportunity to influence their community, impact the political landscape, and ultimately, save lives. As discussed in a previous chapter, the Church has historically been the center of the community in providing guidance, fellowship and resources for the congregation. One can become a vital asset to the local Church in volunteering to help organize youth groups and activities. If the local Church is dysfunctional or understaffed, home church is always an option. Meetings can be conducted at libraries, coffee shops, restaurants or one's living room. As it is written, if God is for it, who can stand against it? If your theory and practice are sound, young people will be drawn to your group and it will grow accordingly. Once the group develops enough to assign leadership, the activist can 'let go and let God' if so inclined.
If we hesitate in calculating the opportunity cost of organizing groups, there is no one to blame but ourselves if our community begins changing beyond recognition. As the saying goes, evil triumphs when good people do nothing. Consider the time and effort the Opposition has sacrificed in bringing this country to where we are. Although the individual activist cannot hope to match the resources of the socialist monolith, we know that the Christian spirit can and will prevail. In a society growing increasingly polarized, a friendly face will penetrate many barriers. Yet let us remember that we are not casting pearls before swine. Our goal is to provide alternative environments to those of the socialist community. We would harbor no dissent or disruption but instruction should freely be offered to the receptive. Bear in mind that adolescents question authority as part of the learning process. They will dispute heathen philosophy as quickly as ours. Also remember that they are seekers by nature, and  it is Truth that sets us free.
In summation, we can see that Millennials are at a crossroads on the course of American history. If they reject the principles of conservative Christianity, they will be unable to support the political platform. If we cannot convince them of the sanctity of human life, the absolute value of the Word of God, the importance of allegiance to family and country, then this election may be very much in question.
The future may be in your hands.

Bullet Points?
Secretary of Transportation Elaine L Chao arrives at her position at a most opportune time, though facing a critical point in American history. With a steadily growing American population, the need for transportation is greater than ever. As of this writing, socialists are trying to hijack the Green Party for political purposes. There is a clarion call for pollution control, and radical changes will call for new emission regulations affecting billions of vehicles. We are also witnessing a major crisis in many areas where highways and bridges are in immediate need of overhaul or replacement. We have also come to a juncture where smuggling is creating emergency situations across the country. Another problem is the issue of growing demographics with their own transportation issues. All these things will cross Chao's desk, and history will document how these challenges are met.
For the record, Chao is ethnic Chinese whose parents migrated from Taipei. Her father was the founder of a successful shipping corporation, the Foremost Group. She complemented her knowledge of the industry with a business degree and went on to build her resume with financial institutions. She served in the Department of Transportation under the Reagan and Bush administrations before being hired as Secretary of Labor under Bush. It was a breakthrough achievement for Chao as an Asian-American.
Her first and foremost challenge comes from environmentalists demanding a departure by the industry from the use of fossil fuel. Since the Seventies, leftists have been rallying behind an international coalition known as the Green Party. Their most significant accomplishment impacting the transportation industry has been the mandatory use of catalytic converters. These have been installed on all American automobiles for emission control. Although initially applauded, the drastic increase of vehicle ownership in the USA has nullified the rate of reduction of carbon monoxide fumes in the atmosphere. Lobbyists are forcing the industry to adapt, and Chao will have to contribute to the system of checks and balances.
One major problem is the manufacture of ethanol fuel. Although it is a cleaner form of gasoline, the toll it has taken on the American food supply has been significant. Farmers growing and selling corn experienced a windfall profit in selling their crops to oil producers. At first it was a gradual process as consumers were not entirely sold on the new product. It was sold at cheaper prices as a result, and soon price-conscious drivers became ethanol buyers. Soon demand began exceeding supply, and now ethanol is a more expensive product though the clear choice for the environmentally conscious.
Again we see how concerns within the Cabinet can overlap, and the moral issues are apparent though not of prime importance. With millions of people around the planet enduring starvation and a significant number of Americans being underfed, filling gas tanks instead of stomachs seems blasphemous. This is obviously a Department of Agriculture issue, but Chao would be able to effectively weigh in on the discussion. There are also debates as to the future of diesel fuel. Researchers hold discourses as to the benefits of its availability and whether it should be replaced or rendered obsolete.
We are also standing at the threshold of an age of electric engines. As of this writing, there are hundreds of thousands of hybrid cars using electricity to complement their gas energy output. The existing challenge is the enormous amount of electricity required to recharge batteries, which are forced to exert tremendous amounts of power. The burden is on mechanical engineers who are trying to develop systems that can replace the gasoline-powered engine entirely.
Once again we see the interplay between Departments as the economic situation will evolve. An American economy, increasingly independent of foreign oil or fossil fuel, will create a glut that oil-based economies such as Russia will be able to ill-afford. It will also cause an initial instability as oil conglomerates in the USA will struggle to convert their resources to clean energy. Dropping prices will force Latin American nations to do likewise. Yet, in the long run, it will result in an environmental upswing that is long overdue.
Beyond policing American vehicles for changing emission control standards, Chao will be required to enforce US standards on interstate commerce. A recent phenomenon has been seen on American highways as to the increasing number of closed weigh stations. It is well known that the standard way to regulate shipping has been to monitor the weight of trucks from place of origin to destination. If controls prove lax, it is tempting for blackmarketers to try their luck in bribing or coercing truckers to move their illicit wares.
If and when the Trump Wall is constructed, it will allow Border Patrol agents to take a greater hand in deterring such activity. They can also hold socialists' feet to the fire in demanding the supply of electronic surveillance devices that can improve their techniques. Monitors can be installed on trucks and standardized by Chao.  It would allow hardware systems to determine the weight of a vehicle and make the information available to monitoring agents. This could make it nearly impossible for large transports to avoid detection if their cargo weight should change from station to station.
There is an economic paradigm that must be considered. Once resources are in less demand in one area, they can be allocated elsewhere to improve yet another service. Once law enforcement costs have stabilized, Chao could use an increased budget to expand the use of roadside services. Tow trucks that cruise the highways providing assistance to motorists could also monitor suspicious activity. If they were to come across large groups emerging from private vehicles at rest areas or vehicles moving cargo from one to another, a message to local authorities could prevent a crime in progress. Granted, there would be a backlash from leftists citing racial profiling or the violation of rights. Yet the deterrent effect on traffickers resulting in lower crime rates would justify the initiative.
The condition of our infrastructure was a campaign issue for the President, and an energetic response by Chao could prove historic. The biggest obstacle is the increasing number of vehicles on American roadway. San Antonio in Texas is just one of countless cities where highway repair cause brutal delays on a daily basis. Yet once one project is completed, another is underway which takes the obstacles to different locations. In New York City, officials have delayed long-needed upgrades to the subway system due to the horrific inconveniences they would create. In Kansas City in Missouri, we recall President Bush having visited the city and making a joke about an immediate need for fixing all the potholes. If we multiply these scenarios by a thousand, we can appreciate what Chao is facing.
One possible remedy would be for Chao to meet with chemical engineers in developing a new material for road construction and road repair. Obviously the traditional use of asphalt is outdated and ineffective. Yet the use of metal is out of the question due to the peril of skidding. Plastic compounds that would provide a sleek surface would be equally hazardous. Science would be challenged to come up with a new formula that allows tires to retain traction, being porous yet resilient enough to endure the abuse of snow plows, tractor treads, or other vehicles that make roadways appear as battlefield after the first blizzard.
Once again this would allow America to become an industry leader on the global market. Despite the piteous shape of our roadways, foreigners driving in the USA often marvel as if they are navigating the Yellow Brick Road. If we were to develop a high-tech paving material, the nations of the world would be flocking to place orders. The billions saved along the passage of time would allow us to reinvest repair funds into the rebuilding of bridges and railways, making America a far safer place.
Another area where Chao could make her mark on world history in the bullet train issue. Japan remains the only country that relies heavily on bullet trains. This is most likely due to the overpopulation in many areas that creates congestion in local job markets. Being able to transport workers from different regions on timely schedules benefits both employers and employees. We are now seeing how this will prove a tremendous asset to American workers. Though many estimates appear exorbitant at this stage, Chao would be visionary in organizing a conference for investors and entrepreneurs to pioneer such a project.
Should such a system develop, the earned income would be immediate. In Missouri, for example, a bullet train from Kansas City to St. Louis would ensure that skilled labor would find markets in both cities. There would rarely be gluts in either employment markets. Furthermore, regional cross-training would allow workers to adapt to relocation with low opportunity cost. Were the system to be extended to Chicago, there would be equal benefits to each city. This could also apply to a bullet train network from San Antonio to Houston, or any other cities where workers could avail themselves of regional opportunities.
This could eventually interact with the Department of Housing as the demand for homes in Chicago would be lessened. Many middle-class families would gladly relocate to areas where the cost of living were more affordable. For Millenials, the psychological impact of moving to different environments would be lessened if their old neighborhoods were just a train ride away. Once the markets between cities achieved equilibrium, the economic levels would also reach parity. The benefit to a major city like Chicago where their resources are chronically overburdened would be tremendous.
The profit margin would be further extended by the benefits provided to the tourist trade. Travelers throughout the Midwest would be able to visit KC, St. Louis and Chicago within hours without having to book flights or drive for days. It may well develop local markets for merchants who would benefit from the increased commerce. There are many citizens, such as women, children and the elderly, who do not travel due to costs or logistical difficulties. Being able to take a train to a different city would allow them to invest disposable income in broadening their horizons. And local businesses would be the better for it.
As the network develops, private investors could tap into the market for equal benefit. Obviously we would not want to see heavy freight catapulted across the country over two hundred miles per hour. However, small items such as computer accessories would cause no more stress that trainloads of commuters. This would guarantee speedy deliveries for interstate suppliers that may well open up a new market. Eventually we would see innovators seeking to develop sturdier systems to deliver heavier transports. And Chao's system would grow exponentially.
It is evident that the heart and soul of American capitalism is its industry. And our infrastructure is the circulatory system that makes it work. The President has entrusted its care and maintenance to Elaine Chao. Let us hope that her uniqueness as an Asian-American will be the least of her accolades. She is in a commanding position to bring our economy along a new horizon in this new American century.

Rebirth Of A Nation?
Tumblr media
Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke finds himself in an unusual predicament. Never before have the spheres of his influence been so politicized as we have seen in this new century. He holds jurisdiction over Federal land and resources, Indian affairs, wildlife and territorial issues. As of 2019, Zinke finds himself faced with some unusual problems that may cause him to 'think out of the box' in dealing with what had once been considered routine matters within his Department.
One of the first controversies of the New Year was the Obamites attempting to erect a shrine to their idol on State property. The Obama Presidential Center was to be built in the downtown Chicago vicinity. In all likelihood his henchman, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, had arbitrarily agreed to the project without getting any municipal or State approval. Emanuel, as we recall, was the White House Chief of Staff before resigning under controversy after his first year. Emanuel and his socialist cohorts were taken aback to find that they were being blocked by a lawsuit filed by a parks advocacy group. As of this writing the trial has yet to commence. Chances are that Zinke may be asked to weigh in at a future date should socialists choose to appropriate Federal land to immortalize their heroes.
The biggest controversy surrounded the curious case of Covington Catholic School student Nick Sandmann, who attended a demonstration in Kentucky by race activists. Along with classmates wearing red Make America Great Again caps, he was vilified by protestors who hurled racial profanities at the youths. Nick was one of those who rose to the occasion, exhorting his classmates to stand fast and offer no retaliation against the belligerents.
What happened next was the worst backfire Fake News experienced since the Trump inauguration. Leftist media outlets edited all video at the event, distributing it across their networks to fit their storyline. Sandmann was shown smiling tautly as an Indian demonstrator was beating a tribal drum with just several inches of space between them. It was not hard for the slanderers to claim that the boy was violating the personal space of the Indian and mocking his ritual display.
Unfortunately for the Fake News conspirators, there were videocameras documenting the incident from different angles. Black Hebrew Israelite militants were seen at a distance though within earshot of the street event, screaming racial epithets at the youths. Ironically, this sect has a nationwide following that adheres to bizarre interpretations of Scripture. They claim that the Twelve Tribes of Israel are comprised of black ethnicities around the world, and that whites are disciples of Satan sent to enslave the black race. Despite their virulence, Sandmann continued to admonish his fellow students not to engage in dialogue with the aggressors.
Next came videos of the Indian in question marching straight at Sandmann and belligerently beating the instrument inches from the boy's face. Here is how we see videos can be manipulated to tell the story as it is framed. With the entire incident filmed at a distance, we see the Indian encroaching upon Sandmann's position. Yet in a closeup, Sandmann's smile remains frozen as if mocking the Indian. With both sides examined, one wonders if Sandmann was trying to fight back tears of humiliation or fear.
Fake News' grievous error was to broadcast the video and report it with the exact prejudice and virulence used against what they call the MAGA Movement. This demonizes any and all Trump supporters as xenophobic, misogynistic and homophobic bigots abiding by fascist philosophy. As Sandmann and his fellow parishioners were wearing the red apparel, they became MAGA fascists by default. The boy and his friends were subjected to the worst possible verbal abuse by leftist media and activists alike. Apparently the boy's parents realized that this would have a horrible impact on his future and decided to seek remedy.
Weeks later it was announced that the Sandmann's attorney Lin Wood had filed a $250 million lawsuit against the Washington Post, who had been the main propagators of the libel. According to the lawsuit, Sandmann had suffered from defamation of character which was a result of the Post's actions in 'leading the charge' of the hordes of slanderers. The 'innocent child was bullied with (an) absolute disregard', causing 'permanent damage'. President Trump immediately applauded the announcement as a retaliatory blow against all who have used 'freedom of the press' as license to destroy the lives of others for commercial and political gain.
The failed efforts of Fake News to keep the Black Hebrew Israelites out of the spotlight allowed them to easily avoid retribution. In cities such as Kansas City in Missouri, for example, the propagators of this cult stand in public areas such as the downtown Power and Light mall, the Plaza and Westport spewing their venom without consequence. Yet the slightest hint of support for the MAGA slogan sets the leftist media ablaze with fervor as they seek and destroy any public gathering displaying such intent.
Of greater importance would be for Zinke to initiate a Congressional inquiry as to the reasons behind Indian poverty and lack of development on reservation land. For over a century, Indians have been shown as living in extreme poverty and lacking in all areas of economic opportunity. It seems impossible that this particular demographic has been given no chance to improve their collective lot. When we consider all the equal opportunities given Black, or the open doors available to Yellow, it would be an outrage that Red had no advantage whatsoever. Indeed, the nations of the world rebuked over human rights violations by America would rise in indignation due to lack of it.
For across the planet since the dawn of man we have seen nomad races roaming the face of the earth. Bedouins in the Middle East, African tribesmen following rain clouds, Mongols seeking suitable hunting and harvest, among dozens of others. Most have been respected for their contributions to the traditions and folklore to their respective nations. Yet we find not one that have been given exclusive rights to significant expanses of their nation's land. Beyond that, the Indian has done nearly nothing to take advantage of that right.
It is well known that, over the last century, oil corporations attempted to make numerous deals to secure drilling rights on Indian land. The incompetence of the bureaucracies have made it impossible for either side to progress. A 2015 report from the Government Accountability Office found that poor management by the Bureau of Indian Affairs hindered energy development and resulted in lost revenue for tribes, according to Reuters. At this juncture, we wonder what can possibly be hindering the Indians from doing what is needed to make their people whole?
One thing is certain: a great Indian leader must rise from the ashes and speak for the people. Our history books speak of Geronimo, Cochise, Sitting Bull, and dozens of others who gave their lives for their people. Why is there no Millenial voice being heard? And of young adults, is there no greater aspiration than to be a casino owner? Or on the other end, the leader of a reservation drug gang? Someone must take a stand and unite the tribes to end Indian poverty and restore the dignity of the people.
According to Forbes, there is an estimated $1.5 trillion of natural resources available on Indian land. There is a discussion of fractionated land ownership, which is a result of inherited land shares being passed down to multiple heirs until becoming relatively worthless. The tribal leaders must bring the people together to sign over their shares until the land is fully accounted for and can be privatized to allow for commercial investment.
President Trump has discussed the options of privatizing Indian land. Here is where his deal-making wizardry and entrepreneurial skills may be of historical importance for the Indian nation. Obviously the Indians will need guidance, and the Trump Administration may hold many keys to helping them secure a trillion-dollar deal. It would be a win-win situation for Indians and oil corporations who would no longer have to invest in foreign lands to earn profits. The elimination of shipping costs alone would save them billions. Some of this could be used in improvements and betterments on reservations as a good-will gesture to help the Indians recover their dignity in a short time.
Once again, the employment of the indigenous population will result in the growth of its community. If young people are able to earn a good salary at the oil wells, they will be able to invest in homes and businesses which would result in the decline of the trailer park syndrome. Many of the elderly would be able to manage the mom-and-pop stores while their children worked. It would put an end to the chronic alcoholism that has ravaged the Indian communities along with hopelessness and despair.
This sounds like a broad and utopian statement, but it is a mirror image of the drug epidemic destroying black communities. If a person has so few options but to go out and work hard for minimum wage, they may well turn to the welfare system and intoxicants to lessen the emotional pain. Yet if there is a possibility of earning $600 a week, this is a game-changer for the person's extended family. He must seize the moment and invest in something for the family to cultivate. Even hauling the trailer to a roadside after a home is purchased can be the start of a lucrative business.
Of paramount importance is interaction between Cabinet leaders, Here is where Ben Carson can step in and implement programs allowing Indians to buy homes and invest in commercial property. The most important factor is the time element. Indians cannot be allowed to think that these advancements are quick fixes to their chronic decline into oblivion. The conservative media must glorify their efforts and use examples of Indian Pride as a guiding light to all ethnicities. When the Indian can seize the moment, he will see substance abuse as a rebuke and disgrace to his people. This is when the ancestral traditions are reborn and the nation rediscovers itself.
Once this happens, will we not see the Indian Territory become a great tourist attraction, a showcase rivaling Las Vegas spanning across the West? Will it no longer remain an endless wilderness interspersed by trailer parks and Indians selling trinkets at rest areas? Will we see theme parks and theaters proclaiming a nation's greatness, from ancient times to the 21st Century?
Our President and the Indian Nation hold the key to the future.

The Wealth Of Nations and 21st Century Socialism
If we were to seriously consider the socialist prerogatives suggested by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her supporters in New York City, we would stand on Adam Smth's Wealth of Nations as a platform in refuting and ridiculing the notion that a capitalist nation such as America could change its historic course as a paradigm of free trade, division of labor and national productivity. Ocasio-Cortez supports progressive policies such as a government-controlled medical industry, tuition-free public college and trade school, federal job guarantees, guaranteed family leave, the abolition of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the privatization of prisons. They would also be a revision of gun control statutes, and an energy policy relying on 100% renewables. She also plans to use Modern Monetary Theory as an economic strategy to provide funding and enable implementation of these goals. In this discussion we shall examine the absurdity of these goals and the historic and economic precedents that condemn these notions to futility.
The arguments against a government-controlled medical industry are overwhelming. For starters we must ask why the best and brightest scholars from around the planet come to America to realize their destinies. In most cases it is not the aesthetics of our modernized nation or its bill of rights. Rather it is the opportunity to be rewarded for their genius and the opportunity to find a rewarding career. A lifetime of contribution in socialist nations such as China and Russia provide little more than improved housing, extended social privileges and exponential material rewards. The State sets ages and rewards according to its need, and anything sought by the applicant exceeding the standard will be arbitrarily rejected by the bureaucracy. Once Cortez's State controls are in place, the engineers, technicians and physicians will head to greener pastures, in all likelihood the European Union or Israel.
Once the American medical industry has become lobotomized, the socialist government will join those at the international auction block seeking the cheapest prices for products and services. No longer will American citizens benefit from state-of-the-art equipment, the world's best facilities or the latest pharmaceutical discoveries or medical treatments. Those who have devoted their lives to research and development will not seek compensation according to a socialist pay scale.
Skeptics will do well to consider the medical industry in Canada or the government-controlled Veterans' Administration in America. Canadian patients find themselves shortchanged by voucher systems, unable to schedule appointments at overbooked facilities, or obtain needed products and supplies at local facilities. American military veterans find themselves in similar predicaments in the majority of cases. Legislation in certain states has provided out-of-network services for veterans that allow them to seek medical aid outside of the government system. Otherwise they find themselves victimized by identical State-run institutions on both sides of the border.
Tuition-free public college and trade school are also a socialist pipe dream. All scholars know that the upper-level paper trail starts with the thesis essay. At this juncture they know that their success is precipitated by their writing skills. On the doctorate level, they are required to submit an essay that is deemed worthy of publication. From thereon, their acceptance as an associate professor at a college or university will require them to publish on a regular basis. Here they realize that their work can earn money on the open market. Only in America can a scholar hope to bring his credentials from his homeland and possibly receive a million-dollar signing bonus.
Obviously every scholar coming to the USA cannot expect a major score just by accepting a position at a major university. Yet he can continue to publish and hope that his dreams will be realized. During that time, his track record at his workplace gives him the authenticity he needs in order to pursue his goals. This allows American colleges to reap the benefits as these unsung innovators await discovery. If these opportunities were not available, these pedants would seek broader horizons. An entry-level socialist wage would never attract the kind of scholar that American colleges do now.
Let us digress to the dawn of man when primitive tribes of neanderthals were bartering as their villages expanded to where their proximity became too close to ignore. A tribal chief bringing a sack of potatoes to the border would expect his counterpart to bring him a bag of carrots of the same size. When a third tribe makes its presence known, they will accept his offering of wheat. Only the day comes when his offer shifts, and this is where socialism fails.
The wheat offerer brings loaves of baked bread, and here is where the discourse changes. We now have the labor cost of the bakers who produced the bread. It is doubtful that the chiefs will reject the offer of bread, so now the bread chief will have the opportunity to name his price. And so it goes. The only option for a socialist system will be for the villages to join together to make the bread as equal a trading option as the produce. The bread chief would be a fool to agree. And only by violence could he be forced to submit.
As Adam Smith pontificates, there is no point where a sovereign body will acquiesce to their detriment. They will demand reciprocation for their contribution. Paradoxically, this is the opposite of what America has done since the turn of the century. We have given excruciatingly more in building empires and propagating democracy than any nation in history. The only reciprocations have been political: we expect our allies to vote our way at the United Nations and provide access to trade routes or staging areas for military operations. Only we have gotten less and less in return over the decades. Finally Donald Trump has come to collect some old debts. Cortez wishes to maintain the status quo for everyone but Americans.
Federal job guarantees will do nothing more than assure Americans of greater sub-standard government agency service than ever. Since the end of World War II, Federal and State agencies have been increasingly filled by those seeking job security and, in many cases, permanency. It has long been a standard maxim that, once acquiring a government job, one is set for life. The benefits are guaranteed for as long as the government exists. The starting pay is competitive; however, the annual raises leave much to be desired. As a result, most move on to the private sector in time. Those who remain do so for lasting job stability.
This results in an overabundance of workers unable or unwilling to achieve higher stations in life. Added to such ranks are unemployed workers conveyed directly into the application process. Many have failed in previous endeavors and were expecting to receive benefits before being siphoned back into the workforce. In both cases, their attitudes are reflected in their level of customer service. Most citizens needing government assistance will minimize their contact with such personnel, leading to a lighter burden for the agencies to bear.
This endemic philosophy of the bureaucracy has plagued the greater socialist nations such as Russia and China. Their citizens grow desperate in seeking government assistance only to find little or none forthcoming. It is little wonder why the black market thrives in such conditions, or unlicensed providers are able to flourish. We can also invoke Adam Smith's principles in citing the need for overachievement in the private sector. An enterprise that does not seek to compete or improve the quality of its products or services is doomed to failure. Workers who have no tangible interest in the success or failure of their employer soon become disenthused. Soon they grow mechanical in satisfactorily completing their daily assignments. If Americans are dissatisfied with government bureaucracy at this point, under Cortez it may well become far worse.
Guaranteed family leave is a Pandora's Box that, included with socialist policies including pro-choice agendas, might well result in profligation by way of the most sinister of ulterior motives. It is well known that socialists in the US are advocating the most extreme policies, including the abortion option at any point up to the time of delivery. This disregard for the sanctity of human life is further reflected by discussion as to whether or not a mother and her physician could agree to withhold life sustaining treatment. In essence, this means leaving the newborn alone to die. This can be legitimized by any possibility of risk to the mother's health, either physical or mental. A woman fearing post-partum depression can exercise the right at will.
We cannot rule out the possibility of recipients taking advantage of this system. A female could well plan a pregnancy to be termed in advance, filing a claim for paid leave of absence. Most doctors will agree to recommend extended time off for the patient to recuperate. This conveniently allows one to carry the fetus up to a planned time, in which they can have the abortion before taking leave.
The abolition of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement seems to be in conjunction with the New World Order's objective of establishing a globalist system. Without a Federal enforcement agency in place to prosecute immigration law offenders, it overburdens an already overwhelmed bureaucracy. In essence, it creates a porous border system that has already been proven relatively ineffective in preventing the ongoing alien invasion. Repeat offenders routinely include drug smugglers, human traffickers and career criminals. According to Adam Smith, our inability to protect our workers and our industries of these hazards will inevitably result in unsustainable loss.
One of the greatest dilemmas facing agriculturalists is that of illegal immigration. For over a half century, farmers have been able to employ undocumented workers en masse to meet market demand and lower their operating costs. One factor is the reluctance of Americans to accept arduous labor jobs for minimum wage. Another is the economy of paying workers off the books in cash for a set price. Most workers are glad to receive enough cash to provide for their families, and the employer is relieved of having to comply with legal obligation. If the socialists succeed in disrupting the system, it may prove disastrous to the entire agriculture industry.
What Cortez and her associates fail to realize is one of Adam Smith's basic concepts. The merchant must always factor in his overhead costs in order to generate a reasonable market price. The labor costs, material costs and all other opportunity costs are taken into consideration. When the merchant is able to compete on the open market, it is reasonable to assume that his costs and prices are similar to those of his competitors. If his prices exceed those on the market, his options are extremely limited. He may find a remote area free of competition. He may rely on his reputation and customer allegiance for a short time. Other than that, he may well be forced out of business.
When the floodgates are open and aliens are granted citizenship status, they will be able to rely on equal opportunity laws to improve their wages. This will force agriculturalists into compliance, greatly increasing their labor costs. This would result in a reciprocal increase in prices, which is eventually passed on to consumers. If the farmer experiences a 25% rise in overhead, the cost of a basket of peppers may go from a dollar to $1.25. This may cause griping but little ado among customers. However, when the cost of a gallon of milk goes from $3 to $4, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth across America.
Needless to say, it will be impossible for merchants to provide health insurance for field workers. This places an incalculable strain on the government-controlled health insurance system being promoted by Cortez. Millions of aliens may well apply within the first year of a socialist takeover. The impact on lower-class families depending on health care might well be catastrophic.
Regardless of the health care scenario, the spike in agricultural costs would have a ripple effect across the American economy. A rise in crop prices would create a surge in the livestock industry. Although cattle ranchers would not be immediately affected, the cost of pork and poultry would escalate along with the cost of feeding the animals. Even the fuel industry would feel the pinch as the increasing use of ethanol would be affected by a sharp rise in corn prices.
Abolishing the use of privatized prisons would have a seismic effect on the government budget as well. It is estimated that nearly 15% of US prisons are privatized, representing a 50% increase since the turn of the century. The number of unemployed workers would be the least of Cortez' problems. Of greater concern would be the number of prisoners that would be injected into the Federal and State penal systems. A recent estimate shows as many as 125,000 inmates would be displaced.
The immediate problem would be the overcrowding effect as the prisoners are redistributed to facilities across the country. Most penologists would concur that overcrowding is one of the main contributing factors to prison violence. The quick fix solution offered by leftist State administrations over the decades has been an early release for inmates to reduce the prison population. Often this has been granted to violent felons who have demonstrated a pattern of good behavior. If this policy was extended to those showing borderline behavior, the possible consequences of releasing recividists could be grievous at best.
The revision of gun control statutes would pose a significant challenge to citizens' Constitutional rights. In cities such as Chicago and New York where regulations are among the strictest, it has been said that the only ones bearing arms are the cops and the criminals. For decades NYC had a law that provided for residents to possess rifles in their homes. The thought of a person having to bring a rifle to bear in the event of a home invasion is as comedic as it is pathetic. Gun permits are available, but the requirements are so stringent and the process so tedious that few even bother to apply. The bottom line is that the socialists want to remove as many firearms from citizens' possession as possible.
What is perceived as ambiguity in the Second Amendment has been debated by pro-gun and anti-gun activists for decades. It seems inconceivable that no amendment has been made or a ruling by the Supreme Court to clarify the law.  The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Polemicists have been dissecting this poorly-worded sentence for over a century. To most, it seems clear that 'the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed'. To others, the 'well-regulated militia' is the key phrase, providing for those active in the militia to be scrutinized by authorities.
Therein lies the conundrum. For National Rifle Association advocates, the right of all citizens to bear arms is inalienable. For anti-gun lobbyists, 'regulation' opens the door for arbitrary restrictions as determined by State (and eventually Federal) governments. Convicted felons and mental defectives have already been prohibited from owning firearms in many states. If the socialists ever seize power, there will assuredly be more categories and situations to follow.
When we view this from Adam Smith's perspective on a microcosmic scale, we see the inherent risks and perils with the socialist line of thinking. If a merchant, or a community of merchants, is subject to robbery and burglary that threatens his merchandise, his lives or property, there is an obligation by one and all to resist the predatory force. In the case of the American colonies being victimized by authorities, the option to resist becomes a matter of survival. It is hard to imagine Adam Smith standing alongside socialists in restricting the rights of merchants to defend their property.
This brings us back to a previous argument concerning socialists' position on open borders. Ranchers along the southern border have dealt with rampant trespassing issues as aliens have violated their perimeters and crossed their property. For these citizens, they may well have their lives and those of their family and their animals placed at risk by Cortez socialists. Do we doubt that traffickers facing lengthy jail time (until further alterations are made by Cortez) would not use deadly force to avoid capture? If these criminals sought to use private property as a shortcut to their inland destinations, the land would be repeatedly violated with no chance by the homeowner to interfere. They might reach out to ICE, but under Cortez, that option would no longer exist.
The energy policy relying on 100% renewables is something Adam Smith could not foresee. One of the major battlegrounds is West Virginia, where an area the size of Manhattan is being cleared for a solar energy plant. Thousands of acres of woodland are being chopped down to make room for this project. The elimination of refuge for wildlife is the least of the socialists' concerns. They feel it will create a milestone for other states on their path to clean energy. As for West Virginians, they are already being impacted by the streams and other bodies of water that are being polluted, diverted or dried up. Once the actual construction begins, they can only expect things to worsen. We know of the nihilistic maxim: one must destroy in order to create. Adam Smith would ask: what is it that the State has the right to destroy at the expense of society?
The bottom line as regards Cortez's Modern Monetary Theory is simple. The State's budget is dictated by the amount it invests in the public sector as opposed to the money it receives by means of taxation. If it spends more than it taxes, there is a deficit as is common for Republican administrations. This indicates that more money has gone to bank accounts in the private sector than to the Treasury. If it taxes more than it spends, a surplus is created. This is common among Democratic administrations as we last saw under the Clinton regime. Cortez has already announced plans to increase taxes in her New York dominion up to 70%. This may work well for NYC millionaires, of which only a small percentage of their income is taxable. But what of the rest of America that may disagree with socialist policy. Adam Smith may point to a quote from the American Revolution: taxation without representation is tyranny.
In summation, history shows that a socialist government had never achieved a noteworthy stage of security and solvency. If millenials and illegal voters are able to carry Cortez down that slope, Christian Americans will be the ones to blame for the consequences. Let us hope that the Moral Majority will be able to save the day. Otherwise, Wealth Of Nations by Adam Smith may, like the Bible, be another prophetic book we chose to ignore.

Another Brick In The Wall?
There was yet another bizarre twist in the propaganda war being waged by alienated Democrats against the White House administration. On January 27, 2017 President Trump made a telephone call to Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto. Whether or not the conversation was recorded by either side is a moot point. It seems highly unlikely that it was unrecorded, for historical posterity as well as future reference and introspection. Yet the details that leaked out via the Associated Press were emphatically denied by both the White House and the Mexican government. It makes one wonder how much ‘fake news’ the nation is willing to tolerate.
It behooves us to remember that Trump’s unconventional campaign to the Presidency took the propaganda wars to a new level. He continually baited the liberal press, using sarcasm and exaggeration to provoke them into publishing outlandish headlines. Some of it was bombastic threats which he easily backpedaled from, such as his threat to ban all Muslims from entering America. Others were as hysterical as they were eye-popping, namely his concept of distributing nukes to our smaller allies in leveling the playing field against aggressors. The downside was that the media turned this folderol into anti-conservative dogma, making fringe populations believe that Trump was the next thing to the Antichrist.
What fizzled most from this sugar bomb was a rumor that Trump threatened to deal with Nieto’s ‘bad hombre’ problem south of the border by invading Mexico. Anyone reading such a headline in 2015 would have chalked it up to another hallucination by editors of the National Enquirer. Only after the cosmic storm of surrealistic scandal served up during the presidential campaigns of 2016, nothing becomes too hard to believe. One could imagine Trump making such an off-the-cuff remark to Nieto, with the Mexican leader and his interpreters taking it the wrong way.
According to both sides, nothing was further from the truth. Both conversations between Trump and Nieto in 2016-17 were tranquil and respectful, regardless of all the pre- and post-chat hype. Trump had repeatedly announced that he was going to build a great Trump Wall between the USA and Mexico, and the Mexicans were going to pay the cost. Nieto was rumored to have said he was not going to pay for a (expletive) wall. After the pre-inaugural phone talk, both sides said that the subject never arose between them.
The second phone call would have brought up a less sensitive subject. It is well known that the USA and Mexico have worked together in fighting Latin American drug cartels for nearly a half century. The DEA and the FBI have rolled up their sleeves and joined in countless operations against the drug gangs. Their efforts have paid off in breaking the backs of some of the most ruthless networks in history. Only America has stopped short of offering outright military aid across the border. It would not be beyond Trump to make such a suggestion. Yet it appears that such a suggestion never arose, despite Associated Press’ allegations to the contrary.
President Nieto, despite his purported behind-the-scenes macho bombast, realizes that the writing is on the Trump Wall. Even a grade schooler can surmise that a trade deficit between Mexico and the United States can easily amount to over ten billion dollars. This is not to mention the foreign aid good cheer baskets that are sent along, as well as all the other amenities contributed by a superpower neighbor. Trump can literally take the cost of the wall in trade, sparing Nieto a huge loss of face in the process. The liberal press will demand facts and figures, but Trump’s overabundance of business savants and number-crunchers will handle it readily.
Once the wall is erected, Border Patrol’s job will be largely relegated to surveillance. It will be far less anxious than chasing down border jumpers, which is oftentimes like security guards running kids out of the community swimming pool after hours. It is quite possible that the Department of Homeland Security will handle the heavy lifting, which will entail monitoring of underground and aerial invasions. It is well known that the drug cartels have made great use of tunnels and small aircraft to ensure large deliveries. This will become a chess game in which DHS Secretary John Kelly will establish himself as grandmaster.
The need for manpower in monitoring a wall stretching over a thousand miles can well be provided by Secretary of Defense James Mattis. In bringing home troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, he might possibly rotate units along the wall in field training exercises. It would allow them to operate in rugged terrain in sweltering conditions for most of the year, and provide a daunting obstacle for alien invaders. Most likely it would provide citizens with an entertaining spectacle. Watching the military run through the motions would be much like going to NFL training camps. Also, private areas that are off-limits to the military could be shored up by volunteer militia corps.
We then address the issue of tariffs on Mexican goods causing havoc among American consumers. Over the better part of a century, Americans have swarmed across the border to avail themselves of highly-discounted goods that could often be brought through tax-free. Not to mention the mini-vacations provided in a country where food, board and entertainment can be bought at a fraction of the cost at similar venues in the USA. Stringent border crossing procedures could make many conveniences of the past prohibitive at best. Yet the long-term advantages could well outweigh the immediate cost.
If, as predicted, the price of Mexican goods skyrocketed, it would provide an opportunity to American entrepreneurs. Mexican food and beverages could be reproduced north of the border, quite possibly as superior products. Tequila and mescal could be manufactured, as well as authentic Mexican beer. Mexican food is often considered superior in Texas restaurants. Were franchises such as Taco Cabana were to go nationwide, there might well be a Tex-Mex culinary revolution on the horizon. Even Mexican-style apparel could be replicated by legal immigrants willing to cash in on a cultural vacuum. A surge of popularity in American-produced Mexican goods could not but help Mexican industrialists offering authentic items over the Internet.
The next most obvious trend would be toward Mexican nationals applying for citizenship. There has been much speculation over what would befall the Southwest economy were all Mexicans to disappear from the landscape. The greatest initial calamity would be to blue-collar and unskilled labor markets. Despite what some pundits argue, there are few segments of the American population that will flock to apply for jobs picking fruit or domestic service. This vacuum will be refilled as restrictions are eased, allowing immigrants to apply for green cards more easily. Soon equilibrium will be restored, only the number of legal immigrants will greatly outweigh a dwindling number of illegals under the Trump administration.
President Nieto will also realize the old adage: crisis breeds opportunity. He will not only be forced to restructure his economy, but seek out and establish new trade networks. The main reason why Mexicans swarm across the border is due to the lack of opportunity in their homeland. By forcing the monopolies to offer higher wages and benefits, Mexicans will revitalize the economy by spending more of their earnings and investing in local markets. It will also strengthen their oil and energy industry, allowing them to become a stronger influence in Latin America and throughout the world. Nieto may find that he may not need the gringos as much as he might think.
The Trump Wall may soon become a reality, but it may not be the Iron Curtain that many Mexicans fear. It might well be paid for on the back end as Trump indicated, but not as painfully as many predict. One thing is for certain: both countries will be determined to find a way to make it work to mutual benefit. After all, neighbors are usually friendly on both sides of the fence.

One World United (Excerpt from JRD’s DYNASTY! The First 100 Days of the Trump Presidency)
The glamour role in the Trump Administration has finally been filled, and astute observers will marvel at all the ado about nothing. Over the decades, the post has been assumed by largely ineffectual persons such as John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and Condoleeza Rice. Granted, the position provides for little more than acting as the goodwill ambassador of America. Yet its major purpose is providing first-hand accounts in having broken bread with the leaders of the earth. Only there have been none since Henry Kissinger who have been effective in using their power to influence rulers and propagate US policy.
As has all of Trump’s decision-making processes, the episode was surrounded by intrigue and speculation. Trump opponent Mitt Romney, staunch Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani and ex-CIA director General David Petraeus were the three finalists according to media pundits. Giuliani, perhaps Trump’s most fervent advocate on the campaign trail, seemed to be a shoo-in. Only his alleged business conflicts cast a shadow over his position, and his comments to the press indicated he was reconciled to being passed over.
The Trump-Romney overtures were the highlight of the series of events. Romney had been a particularly virulent critic of Trump throughout the campaign. Trump characteristically fired back with vindictive comments that made onlookers wonder how the GOP would ever come together again. Once the war was over, Trump was quoted as saying that Romney would be an excellent choice for his Cabinet considering his experience and ability. It was a partnership that most thought could never happen, and sure enough, it didn’t.
There were observers who felt that it was a particularly nasty move by Trump, allowing his adversary to dangle on a cusp of hope as he relished Romney’s sonnets of peace. Others thought that he was taking the opportunity to find out who Mitt Romney truly was, using the occasions to assess the man’s character and potential as a future ally and colleague. It is quite possible that both assumptions are correct. Trump’s ego needed massaging, but he is not the kind of man to overlook the advantage a future partner can bring to the table.
General Petraeus was a wild card pick, largely due to his lack of political experience in the public venue as well as personal scandal that influenced his resignation from the CIA. Yet it was the kind of choice that many thought reflected the Bush scenario of decades past when the leaders of the USA and Russia were former leaders of the CIA and the KGB respectively. Having Petraeus meeting directly with Putin would have been a fantasy matchup, a perfect segue to the highly anticipated Trump-Putin summit. Only Trump had other ideas.
Former Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson eventually became Trump’s final choice. The immediate red flag challenge came from environmentalists concerned by Trump ambivalence toward the global warming issue. Hiring the top gun from the company responsible for one of the greatest man-made environmental catastrophes in history seemed as if Trump was making a statement. Only the statement he was making was not about environmentalism. This was all about corporatism and the world economy.
One thing is obvious: a political arrangement between Trump and Putin based on financial and economic objectives will be the greatest accomplishment of his administration. Moreover, it may well dictate the course of world history throughout the first quarter of the 21st century. The clash between Obama and Putin, despite their socialist commonality, created shockwaves that reverberated from Eastern Europe to the Middle East. Putin appeared privately disdainful of Obama’s lack or resolve. It became apparent after the anschluss of the Crimea preceded the campaign to destabilize and annex the Ukraine. The Russians built a wall of steel along the Ukrainian border before focusing their attention on the turmoil in Syria. They used the multinational effort against ISIS as a subterfuge in sending a formidable military detachment into Syria. Putin did little to hide the fact that he was unconcerned by any sanctions or military actions Obama might proffer.
The conspiracy theory proposed by socialists insisting that the Russians cyberattacked the US to influence the election is the stain on Trump’s unprecedented victory. Elements of the Democratic Party pointed to the fact that Putin openly expressed hope that Trump would emerge victorious. They conveniently overlooked the fact that Hillary Clinton had a history of antagonism towards the Putin regime. They launched a multimillion-dollar campaign to have recounts in numerous states. All of which made their storyline appear as a fable of sour grapes. Regardless, conspiracy theorists argue that billionaire Trump and his USA superpower is playing right into the hands of reputed millionaire Putin and his struggling nation.
Rex Tillerson is a man who has sat at the table across from Russian magnates and made the kind of deals which may prove the foundation of Trump’s master plan. His claim to fame was cutting a deal on behalf of Exxon in 2011 that led to a drilling project in the Kara Sea. The estimated profits were around $300 billion dollars. Only the Ukraine crisis brought production to a halt. If Tillerson returned to the bargaining table at Trump’s behest, who knows what kind of deals might lie ahead.
Possibly a more intriguing scenario is presented when considering a deal Tillerson made on behalf of Exxon with Kurdistan. It grew complicated as the Iraqi government intervened, calling the agreement a violation of law as it circumvented its authority over the province. Yet if Trump was able to come to an agreement with Iraq in dealing directly with Kurdistan, it could open the door to a series of renegotiations.
One would be to encourage joint Arab-American ventures in Africa. For far too long, European conglomerates have exploited African nations and their resources, setting up warlords to rape their own countries. In a sense, it is a bizarre reflection of American and European companies manipulating Arab nations and their economies. The Trump initiative would persuade the Arabs to become the enablers, leading their ‘little brown brothers’ by the hand and guiding them into a new age of prosperity. Granted, it would be taking the exploitation to a different level, but the chance of liberating Africa from the cycles of poverty and genocide is far too enticing to ignore. Not to mention the financial windfall the Arabs would experience without having to sell any oil.
If Tillerson were to make his mark in such an undertaking, what would prevent him from trying his hand in Latin America? The oil production and manpower of Mexico places it favorably among the nations of the world. Only mismanagement by corrupt leaders and skyrocketing drug trafficking profits have chronically impaired its growth and development. Having Tillerson convince the Mexican government of the possibilities available through a seamless State-run oil conglomeration would have enormous ramifications. Paying Mexicans US-level wages would liberate the country from poverty, causing illegal immigration to plummet and provide an alternative to drug dealing. Turning Mexico into a major player would allow it to invest its newfound wealth in South America. Were Tillerson and Trump to mastermind that next move, the financial revolution of the century would be underway.
Granted, these are grandiose ideas and concepts. Only we are being led by a President with boundless energy and ambition. Most of us knew the man was a billionaire. Only after the liberal press began speculating about all he would have to leave behind did we realize just how vast the Trump Empire was. And this is what we must continually ask ourselves: what can such a man accomplish with the resources of the richest nation in history at his disposal?
And what will Rex Tillerson, as his surrogate, possibly be limited by?

Mad Dog Unleashed  (Excerpt from JRD's DYNASTY! The First 100 Days of the Trump Presidency)
The appointment of General James “Mad Dog” Mattis to President Trump’s Cabinet did not raise as many eyebrows as some of his other picks. Possibly it was his grandfatherly mien that made the sobriquet seem like a snarky Saturday Night Live (a Trump nemesis) sendup. Perhaps it was the thought that a man with such a moniker might cause America’s enemies to have second thoughts over launching an attack. At best, those in the know realized that someone with his resume was well suited to step up and take charge of a much-questioned US military leadership.
Mattis was lauded by his contemporaries as a no-nonsense hardliner in Iraq whose constant motivation was in getting the job done. Political constraints and the line of least resistance were of low priority. He saw lots of blood, sweat and tears on the field and was concerned in bringing his boys home in one piece. Beyond that, the goal was taking out the enemy in the most efficient manner by any means necessary. He had no misconceptions about engaging a terrorist army that hid itself in the civilian population, with no concern about a Geneva Convention or rules of war. As it was said of Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now: “They knew his name and they feared him.”
At this juncture, Trump steps up to the plate with ISIS on the mound in Iraq and Al Qaeda on deck in Afghanistan. There are also stare-downs awaiting in the Ukraine, the South China Sea, the Korean border and Iran, among other places. His focus is on bringing world leaders together in a global corporate summit to unite the world in a common goal of peace and prosperity. Yet there are these hot spots that require cleaning up, and who better to handle the job than Mad Dog Mattis?
The Ukraine may well be the highest priority. After the annexation of the Crimea two years ago, the world held its breath as insurgents backed by Russian support announced their intent to declare independence from the Ukraine. Confirmed sightings of Russian troop movements along the border exacerbated reports of Russian-made weaponry spotted inside Ukrainian territory. It all came to a head when the rebels downed a Malaysian Airlines passenger flight over Ukrainian skies. There was talk of World War III as NATO forces prepared defensive positions.
A Trump-Putin economic alliance appears to be a marriage made in heaven, and its political implications will augur peace on Europe’s Eastern Front. Yet there is always a worst-case scenario. Suppose Putin is replaced by a militaristic successor, or the Ukrainian rebels make a move that spills over the border into a neighboring NATO country?
Although the safety of Hungary and Romania are of prime concern, it was the invasion of Poland that started World War II. It is doubtful that NATO would regard a similar undertaking as having any other outcome. Yet the nuclear-armed Russians would raise the stakes beyond anything civilization has ever faced. At that juncture, Mad Dog Pettis might have to make some of the gravest decisions in history.
Fortunately for Pettis, the implications of NATO coverage of Poland would make an invasion far more complicated than Hitler’s overrunning of the country in 1939. The major consideration would be the distance from Warsaw to Moscow. If the Poles were facing annihilation, a combined air and missile assault might easily cause Moscow catastrophic damage. The question would be whether advanced weaponry capable of hitting Moscow would be available to the Poles. According to the treaty, the Allied nations would be required to assist in providing the needed equipment. Beyond that, Budapest and Bucharest would also be in danger of overthrow. St. Petersburg would be next on the target list, and only a madman would take any further risks. Pettis’ concerns might well be as minimal as directing traffic.
The second global danger would be that of China’s incursions in the South China Sea. Japan and the Philippines are the major complainants over China’s building of naval platforms in contested waters. In the case of the latter, any Chinese conflict with the Philippines would have little impact on the USA other than our loss of face. A major consideration is that of current Filipino leader Rodrigo Duterte openly bragging of his participation in death squad activities against drug dealers. Not to mention his foul-mouthing of Barack Hussein Obama after the US President voiced his objections.
A military confrontation with Japan could turn into a major crisis. Only the Mad Dog might easily give place to his Commander-in-Chief in resolving the issue. China can prove to be a deadly adversary, as we saw during the Korean War when they sent troops in as backup to the North Koreans who were being overrun by General Douglas MacArthur’s troops. The Japanese have been pacifists since being KO’d by an American nuke in WWII. Yet they have mustered a military force since the turn of the century, and history testifies to their potency as combatants. A conflict between China and Japan could turn into a protracted war of attrition that few nations would seek to take a hand in.
Only Trump would be able to argue against the futility of such a confrontation, in considering the alternative opportunity. A renegotiated Trans-Pacific Partnership spearheaded by America, Japan and China could be one of the great economic powerhouses of the 21st century. In light of Japan’s wizardry in developing electronic technology, combined with China’s proclivity for mass production and Trump’s marketing genius, the three countries could lead the planet into a revolutionary age of techno-engineering. Trump could easily convince the Chinese and Japanese the folly of crossing swords when an entire industry is theirs for the taking.
Yet another scenario might emerge as fanatical leaders in North Korea or Iran might launch a nuclear attack against a neighboring country. Kim Jong-Un has been issuing threats of nuclear war for years, openly threatening South Korea and the USA. Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has spoken of the annihilation of Israel, an essential American ally. Either of these extremists might hold sway in forcing the hand of their military leadership into making such a move. The result would easily result in a catastrophe as horrific as that of 9/11, or worse. Only the leadership of both nations would know for certain that the American response would be the removal of either Pyongyang or Tehran from the face of the earth. There would be no doubt as to the Mad Dog’s response if such an unspeakable event should occur.
Finally there is the ISIS scenario in which a global terrorist organization declares war against the nations of the earth. This situation requires the kind of single-minded determination which a man like James Mattis is more than capable of. An insurgent organization cannot thrive without the support of the indigenous population. We have heard dozens of horror stories over the decades and across the globe about terrorists who marched into cities and held populations hostage. Yet in each case there was a sympathetic group who figuratively held a door open and allowed their entry. Terrorists without collaborators are gangs of marauders roaming across lands seeking safe haven. When a town or city opens their doors to such men, they become conspirators who must share the fate of the aggressors. We saw this in Iraq and Afghanistan after 9/11. We will see it again if any country risks their survival in hosting a terror group that would threaten America or its allies.
As for the Third World nations that seem to exist in constant states of turmoil, again Mattis can rest assured that the Trump Era of Prosperity is at hand. Nations throughout Latin America and Africa will be convinced that taking part in Trump’s programs of global economic revitalization is the way of the future. Pooling their resources and maximizing profits, trading assets to minimize deficiencies is the logical way for nations to co-exist and truly respect and value one another. A world community based on corporate initiatives and financial solidarity will one day end poverty, war and political strife.
And James Mattis will be the watchdog at the gate.

Back to Basics: ABC’s of Education (Excerpt from JRD's DYNASTY! The First 100 Days of the Trump Presidency)
The announcement of Betsy DeVos having been appointed as Secretary of Education to the Trump Cabinet was a surprise, albeit a pleasant one. There is a trend towards behind-the-scenes movers and shakers developing, though the logic remains unpredictable. Yet this new appointee brings a breath of fresh air with her, that of a true idealist which has not been seen within the Cabinet thus far. She also carries a maturity that lends her the decorum of a Hillary Clinton, as opposed to the naïveté attributed to the glamorous Sarah Palin.
Betsy DeVos married into money, specifically that of Richard DeVos, heir to the billion-dollar Amway empire. The dynasty has reputedly contributed over $200 million to Republican causes, reflecting an unparalleled commitment to the improvement and betterment of the nation. Betsy became the standard bearer of the family since the late 20th century, highlighted by her stint as chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party. Only Betsy’s focus on the promotion of charter schools has made her a prime candidate for the top education spot.
The dereliction of the American public school system has opened a Pandora’s Box for every indictment of and possible alternative to the institution. Most global rankings of educational quality per country finds the USA not even making the Top Ten. Proof in the pudding is the preponderance of Asians in math-oriented professions and higher-level learning institutions. The steady decline of the quality of American arts, entertainment and culture indicates this is not a left-brain/right-brain phenomena. 21st century America is no longer producing the leadership reflective of the world’s only superpower, and the blame falls squarely on the institutions that produce the best and brightest of the next generation.
Paradoxically, much of the problem can be attributed to the Republican Party. President George W. Bush implemented the No Child Left Behind policy, which forced public schools to improve their percentages in passing grades for individual students and classes alike. It created an atmosphere of paranoia in which students were forced to meet standards by any means necessary. The focus shifted from overall education to passing standardized achievement tests. Over the decades, the results proved detrimental and, in time, devastating.
The backlash of educated parents startled by the programming of students played a key role in the proliferation of charter schools. Realizing their children were learning to read, write and do math without the whys and wherefores created a demand for alternatives. There was an outcry for a spirit of renaissance in which appreciation for the arts, literature and culture would be underscored if not emphasized. Much of this came from the Religious Right, who felt that Christian values were being marginalized if not entirely rejected by secular humanism in the educational system. They decided to build their own schools, which was hardly a novelty as private schools have always existed in America. It was the dramatic increase in middle class families pursuing the option that made the difference.
Those parents in question, on average, spend thousands of dollars on electronic gadgetry for their children per household. Logic would dictate that this investment would place a universe of knowledge at their children’s fingertips. Only peer pressure steers a majority of students along the path of frivolous pursuits. Most time is spent on texting, streaming video, entertainment apps and trending social media. There is also the hazard of Internet grammar, which limits communication to what is essentially shorthand typing.
Economically challenged households expect much of these burdens to be shouldered by the educational system. Unfortunately this is not always the case. DeVos was well known for her reputation as a critic of teachers’ unions. One particular argument against these organizations supports her position. The entrenchment of tenured teachers has become a subject of ridicule over the decades, satirized by the image of those asleep at their desk during study and reading periods. Like most public servants, they are secure in the knowledge that they will not be fired barring instances of gross misconduct. Barely meeting students’ expectations in disserting information or inspiring the acquisition of knowledge does not suffice.
Inspiration may be the overriding principle in determining the difference between public and charter schools. Regardless of what texts are being covered in the reading comprehension courses, it all essentially boils down to a correct guess in a multiple choice test. Beating the system is the name of the game, and if you can come up with some word association trick that helps you remember the main characters in a Shakespearean play, well, you da man.
Alternately, in a Christian school it is the altruistic principles that are internalized. What is in the nature of a subject, a system or a discipline that helps one be a better person, of benefit to others? Reading helps people understand the Bible, the key to all wisdom. Math helps families balance their checkbooks and avoid debt. The arts bring peace to the spirit, culture promotes harmony between people. Shakespeare shows how love is beauty and evil leads to downfall. All knowledge is a means to an end, and parents can rest easy at the end of the school day.
The lack of budgeting is also a major factor in the quality of public schools. Graffiti is a monstrous problem in low-budget schools, its effects found everywhere from textbooks to toilets, from hallways to building edifices. Consider the psychological effect on children who are forced to carry torn and scribbled books, use restrooms that are not far removed from those in subways, and see gang graffiti reminding them both outside and inside the building who is really in control. It shows the lack thereof accorded to the administration, the teachers, and even the custodial staff who have long since given up.
This is where the socialist argument is strongest, and where the challenge flag is thrown by the middle class. Economics should not determine who should enjoy the best learning experience. Yet is the better environment determined by educational standards or aesthetics? Having the latest high-tech computer and gym equipment does not mean its use or maintenance is guaranteed. High crime and poverty often influence the attitude of its victims. The middle class may be sympathetic and offer to do anything to end the cycle, but they will battle ferociously so that their own children do not become part of it.
DeVos may well become the patron saint of the charter school, and the arguments for it will have piled up in mounds at this juncture. Her most obvious challenge will be in bringing public schools up to par with private schools, and a daunting one it will be. Protecting and defending the charter school seems incidental, but discrepancies between the overall quality of the systems will be an issue of nationwide concern. Her battle appears to be two-pronged. She will have to raise the standard of the public school system in order to elevate America’s standing among the global community. In doing so, she will expect to stem the exodus of middle-class families towards the alternative option.
It is a prodigious task awaiting her. Yet DeVos has been championing conservative causes over the decades through thick and thin. The opportunity for turning crisis into opportunity has never been greater.

Why I Still Watch Pro Wrestling
I’ve been hooked since I was a little kid. My Dad, an ex-champion boxer, never watched ‘those phony bastards’ on TV. I would catch glimpses of the black-and-white behemoths methodically hammering each other when I went channel-surfing. I was curious but unimpressed until I bought my first fanzine. I had all the monster mags out that month, so asked Mom to buy the one with the cover pic of the man with blood covering his face. She did so, and I entered a world of showmanship, ultra-violence and super heroes come to life. Over half a century later, I’m still here.
It’s changed radically over the years, somehow reinventing itself every decade in keeping up with the times. In the Sixties it inspired me to become an athlete. In the Seventies it influenced my path as an underground rock star. In the Eighties I joined the ranks in realizing my dream. In the Nineties it inspired me to go into MMA. In Y2k it propelled me back onto the rock and roll stage. In the 2010s it’s keeping me relevant, creative and still avoiding oblivion.
So why am I one of WWE’s greatest detractors these days? If I hate the product so much, why don’t I just stop watching? Why am I trying to tell other people how to run their business? It’s simple. Pro wrestling defines me, it’s in my DNA. If I ever stop feeding off its energy I’d probably shrivel up and die. I don’t own one 21st century rock album. I don’t read books except when I do review swaps with other authors. I’ve been to the theater about ten times in this century. If it wasn’t for wrestling I’d be a dinosaur.
When I see those big bastards, I realize there’s guys out there who may be able to kick my ass. It sends me down to the basement to hit the bench. When I see all the onstage drama, it makes me pick up my guitar to create some of my own. When I see new characters on the scene, it gives birth to some crazy son of a bitch who shows up in a JRD novel. And when I see great potential being wasted by some scumbag scriptwriter or out-of-touch executive wanting to cut off their nose to spite their face, I have to scream out. Which is what I’m doing now.
Fans can’t change pro sports. We watch the NFL slowly turning into touch football and the NHL morphing into a minimal contact sport. We’re in a century where individualism, machismo and outspokenness are being marginalized. Pro wrestling is the last bastion, and its own sleazy politics are causing it to implode. Hell yes, I’m screaming my ass off, because I can’t stop watching. When there’s no more wrestling, there’s no more Broadway Turk Superstar. And when there’s no more Turk...there’ll be no more JRD.
So I’ll watch and watch and whine and cry. People will continue asking why in hell I’m wasting my time watching ‘those phony bastards’.
Well, if you’ve every enjoyed a JRD book or song, just hope I keep on watching.

"NIghtcrawler" --- The Interviews!!!
(Interviewer) It is my pleasure today to #interview Detective Hoyt Wexford of the NYPD’s #Organized #Crime #Unit. Detective Wexford, thank you for coming.
Detective Wexford: Thank you for having me.
Interviewer: We have been getting to know some of the members of your elite #law #enforcement team. My audience and I would love to get to know you. What can you share with us about yourself?
Detective Wexford: Well, I’m a recent graduate of the Academy. I was originally assigned to the NYPD’s Street Crime Unit as an undercover cop. I guess you could say I got lucky when the City first learned of the Octagon on the videotaped statement they sent to the Mayor’s Office last year. Everyone was called in for special duty, and I was assigned to the Statue of Liberty. As I’m sure most people know, I became the only officer on the force to make contact with the Nightcrawler that day. I evacuated the area and he apprehended the perpetrators. Lots of people questioned my judgment that day, but if the anthrax bomb had been detonated it could have…well, let’s just say we averted a tragedy. After that, I was contacted again by the Nightcrawler on my cell phone and notified of a cache of over fifty barrels of petroleum that the Octagon had planted in upstate New York. Once again we ended a terror threat as the Octagon had been suspected of being behind the rash of forest fires in the area. The petroleum barrels would have led to a major catastrophe. After that I was decorated and promoted to Detective with OCU. Currently we’re looking into the escalation of Mob activity in Brooklyn, and we’re making steady progress as we speak.
Interviewer: Is the reality of the OCU what you expected?
Detective Wexford: Well, there are some things I can talk about, and some things I’m not at liberty to discuss. Let me try and explain the whole us-against-them mentality. It goes back to the turn of the 20th century, and our men in uniform are dealing with similar circumstances in foreign countries today. Newly arrived immigrants are in an alien environment and seek fellowship among their own people, that’s a natural part of assimilation. However, you have criminal elements who manipulate that situation. They make people feel that the Government is trying to marginalize them, and use intimidation and violence to make their point. The people feel trapped and begin relying on the gangs as a means of protection. It becomes easy for gangs to recruit from the younger generation. Soon you have a whole community who feels defined by their ethnicity and their allegiance to the gang. When it’s been going on for over twenty years, as we’re seeing among the Russian community in Brighton Beach, we’ve got what they call in the movies a failure to communicate. It becomes exacerbated with the arrival of the Chechens, who bring an ethnic tension between the groups going back to their country of origin. You can see how the problem gets more and more complicated. But we’re dealing with it. It just takes time.
Interviewer: Are you a native New Yorker?
Yes, my parents came over from Northern Ireland with my aunt and uncle. My parents split up and I was raised by my aunt and uncle in what’s known as Hell’s Kitchen on the West Side of Manhattan. It’s traditionally a big Irish community, so I can relate to what the Russian immigrants are experiencing.
Interviewer: Do you have any special places, or activities, that you would like to share with us?
Detective Wexford: I spend most of my free time with my fiancé, Sabrina Brooks. We met at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and became sparring partners after she quit school to take over her Dad’s chemical company after his death. We hit it off, and one thing led to another. I could talk about her all day, so we’d best change the subject. For the record, she’s smart, sexy, sassy, old-fashioned but chic, the kind of girl I’d always wanted to bring home to Mother.
Interviewer: (glances at clock) Darn it! We are out of time, Detective Wexford. It has been such a pleasure speaking with you.
Detective Wexford: I assure you, Ms. Walksfar, that the pleasure was mine.
Interviewer:  We’re switching over to Detective Wexford’s partner, Agent Alexander Tretiak, who is with us today. Thank you, Agent Tretiak, for consenting to this #interview.
Agent Tretiak:  My pleasure.
Interviewer: How did you happen to be assigned to the OCU, Agent Tretiak?
Agent Tretiak: There have been ongoing discussions between the Federal Security Service and Homeland Security concerning the arrival of Chechen militants to the US who may have connections to the Chechen Mob. I was assigned to the NYPD as an advisor, being a specialist on Chechen extremists in Russia.
Interviewer: Does this have to do with the drug wars ignited by the reintroduction of China White heroin in Brooklyn and Manhattan?
Agent Tretiak: This is one of the main focuses of our investigation.
Interviewer: Isn’t Brighton Beach an area traditionally controlled by the Russian Mob?
Agent Tretiak: That is correct. The viewpoint held by Federal Security and Homeland Security is that the Chechens are bringing their conflict with the Russians to American shores. My assignment is to help the OCU identify any and all Chechen elements operating in Brooklyn to determine the extent of their infiltration into the local underworld.
Interviewer: From my research, I understand that Police Chief Joel Madden has been concerned that the presence of Russian law enforcement agents within the NYPD infrastructure may create potential security risks in the long run.
Agent Tretiak: Chief Madden is a highly respected law enforcement officer with a tremendous background. My superiors have the utmost respect for his authority and his opinions. We consider his viewpoint as that of an experienced administrator remaining cautious and conscientious as befits one in his position.
Interviewer: Hmm. So he really wasn’t all that thrilled at getting a Russian agent dumped in his case, but figured that since he couldn’t kick you out, he’d take advantage of the extra help. Is that about right?
Agent Tretiak: That is an interesting way of putting it.
Interviewer: I hope you aren’t offended, but I did a bit of research on your career.
Agent Tretiak: I’m honored that you found me that interesting.
Interviewer:  It seems that you’ve taken the long road to where you are today. Your first career was in military intelligence before you joined the Federal Security Service.
Agent Tretiak: I found military espionage rather …predictable.
Interviewer: Is that code for boring?
Agent Tretiak: Not exactly. It’s just that I feel our global society faces greater threats from insurgent groups and criminal organizations than from enemy forces in this nuclear age.
Interviewer: How does a foreign service operative - whose father was an ex-KGB executive officer – go from being a Special Forces advisor and international espionage consultant to working with the Federal Service?
Agent Tretiak: You certainly did research my background. It does seem that you’ve neglected certain details. I lost friends and family members during the Beslan hostage crisis in 2004. One hundred eighty six children died among the three hundred thirty four hostages killed. It was then that I realized the international threat posed by insurgent and criminal elements was the greatest that our society has ever faced.
Interviewer: I’m sorry for your loss, Agent Tretiak. And, you’re right; obviously I didn’t research deep enough. Thank you for sharing.
Agent Tretiak: It’s been many years since we suffered those losses, but they are hard to forget.
Interviewer: (glances at watch) It appears that our time is almost up. We’ve been talking about some pretty serious stuff, so let’s end this on a happier note. Will you share with us one #facebook page that you enjoy, one #restaurant you love, and one place you want to go visit someday?
Agent Tretiak: That writer fellow John Reinhard Dizon seems to keep pretty close tabs on that vigilante, the Nightcrawler, so I tend to visit that Facebook page at my leisure. I’ve had the pleasure of accompanying Hoyt and his colleagues to the Downhouse Lounge in the Coney Island area. It’s run by Russians and reminds me very much of the nightclubs in Moscow, I highly recommend it. There are some culinary delights that I’m sure will not disappoint.
Interviewer: Wow, now I’m hungry!
Agent Tretiak: You really have to try it out. It’s on Avenue X in Brooklyn, I’m sure you’ll Google it up. As for a place I’d like to visit, Hoyt tells me about his childhood visits to Northern Ireland. I’ve researched it on the Internet and have no doubt it is the magical place he describes.
Interviewer:  Well, Agent Tretiak, we are out of time. I want to thank you again for coming.

“So what do you think, Mom?”
“It’s really good, Frank,” Isabel smiled, walking behind her son and softly caressing him under the chin.
They sat in the kitchen that morning, Isabel having served him toast and coffee before he announced that he had written some new hip-hop lyrics he wanted her...
