Got a burning question for you …

If I was to use Lent as an excuse to post TONS of pictures of Cole at this blog again what theme would you like to see this time? (Lent starts on Valentine’s Day this year).

(As a reminder I just did an Advent Calendar and the theme was “Snuggly Warm”)

I’ve been sick

Sorry the posts here have slowed down a touch, but I’ve been really sick and I also have other responsibilities to tend to when I’m able to sit up - so I can’t always get to this blog. But don’t worry, I will still post when I can.

I had been hoping to do a Lent Calendar this season like the Snuggly Warm Advent Calendar I just did (which was a nice excuse to post daily pix of Cole looking cute). I had posted about it a few times and it seemed like there was interest, but I didn’t receive any feedback in regards to a theme you guys would like to see (and I would have needed to know weeks in advance so that I could prepare for this given the current state of my health). I just wanted to let you know that this will not be happening now.

BUT, if you’d like to see me do something like the Snuggly Warm Advent Calendar I did for the holidays last year, please send me an ask and propose a season, a theme, etc. (or you can even comment here). Please keep in mind that I need AT LEAST a month in advance to prepare though - especially with the recent decline in my health.

I really like how this photo works with other images from this photo shoot (see the page I have here on Damon Baker’s photography). In the other pictures Cole is in focus, but this one is different, having the foreground in focus instead. And with Cole’s gaze looking down, it creates an interesting mood.

This is one of my new favorites. For me, it symbolizes gender fluidity and the beauty behind it. Look at his outfit. Also the gaze on his face, and the surrounding fertility of nature 💜💜💜💜💜💜
