Everything I go to put on sunscreen I can put it everywhere except from my arms( specifically shoulder down) and get a rash, anyone here know why this happens?

Sunburn but skin not red?

My back is burning after being in the sun for 2 hours. I did have sunscreen on but I was also in the river so it probably washed off. My scalp is also burning. I did have hair oil on my hair from last night so maybe it got heated up and burned my skin? I don’t have any after sun lotion, I just have regular lotion. ☹️

Hurts like all hell anything I put on it (even water) immediately causes a sting no blisters or anything just the most excruciating pain and tons of hard flaking skin

Just want to know how to stop the pain tried basically everything

Malibu Tan Tattoo Enhancing Lotion for sunburn?

I got baked today and it’s the only thing I have in my house that has aloe in it, but I’m not sure if some of the other ingredients in it would also be helpful to the sunburn or potentially damage or irritate it more….

Blisters

So I was at the beach about a week ago and got sunburn. However, the blisters didn’t appear till a day or 2 ago. Is this normal that they appeared so late and how do I treat them?

sunburn?

I went to a beach for vacation, i’ve been exposed to the sun from saturday till monday, i leave today as i currently type this on tuesday. I’m having the pain and discomfort of not being able to even touch certain spots, and even put shirts on/keep them on comfortably. I sadly can’t send any pictures but if anyone would want to help me i would dm them to see if my burns are serious, there’s white little puss building up on my chest, and the tan on my chest is very patchy compared to a full tan on my stomach.

Is this normal?

Hey Reddit. Let me preface by saying I always have a lot of health anxiety lol Anyways, I got a sunburn a few days ago (Monday and Tuesday) on my shoulders/very upper back. It’s began peeling so naturally I’ve been peeling it away in the mirror lol. Anyways, today I’ve noticed on both shoulders there’s a dry, flaky/scaly and painful patch. It’s painful now even when nothing is touching it but that may be because I’ve been messing with it. I’ve been trying to find out if it’s skin cancer or something (health anxiety) and came across Actinic keratoses, which I found is most similar looking (it just looks like a scaly and dry piece of skin with dead skin sorta coming off of it) but some pictures of the search “dry sunburn” look like it too lol. I’m just wondering if I should get it checked out or wait a bit if it stays or just what course of action I should take and also if you guys may know what it is. I hope it’s nothing serious but if it is I’ll get it checked out.

Sunburn Help? I'll try anything at this point

I got a sunburn 3 days ago after running out of sunscreen on a boat with my family. It doesn't seem to be blistering or peeling but it's very very red. Its all over my arms, legs, face, and chest. Ive been using aloe gel and an actual aloe leaf, I've also been using cordezone (or however you spell it) with aloe in it. I reapply them often. I've tried cold baths with oatmeal and drinking lots of water. Its been 3 days and it hurts the same as when I first got it and its as red as ever. I'm on the depo shot which I've heard can cause sun sensitivity. I haven't slept much at all since I've gotten this sunburn. Any advice or ideas? ill try anything, I want to be able to sleep very much

should i peel off the dead skin or leave it?

got a sun burn on sunday and today it started to peel. is it recommended to leave it to come off naturally or should i be peeling off the peeling layer of skin?

I went fishing on my kayak on Sunday and got a bad sunburn in my legs and part of my arms. My arms are doing much better but my legs havent gotten any better. What do I do?

I was in the sun for about 3.5hrs and in the shade for another 30-45 minutes on Sunday. Obviously I got a bad sunburn. I’ve been drinking about a gallon of water a day, applying Banana Boat Aftersun and Aloe Vera about 5 times a day, and taking Black Cumin Oil twice a day and nothing seems to be working. I didn’t expect it to be gone by now, but it hasn’t gotten any better.

Peeling after 8 Hours in the sun, how bad is it?

I went to a cloudy beach today with barely any sun (i’m very pale w blue eyes) and the UV was 7. I was only there for 4 hours, but i’m already peeling and i look like a tomato. Should i be worried? I’ve been applying aloe after sun like 2x a hour!!!

Ouch

Don’t be as stupid as me. This is hurting like hell. Does anyone have any advice other than “go to the MD”?I’m a single mom with a toddler and 15yo and an ER visit doesn’t sound intriguing. Wear Sunblock EVEN if only outdoors 3 hours, your eyelids will thank me.

I get severely burned a week ago on my tibia and had swollen ankles a couple days later after the gym. I've been drinking water and aloe vera and I see that my legs looks good first thing in the morning but when I get up and move my legs turn blue and purple. What is it? What do I do?

I think I got sunburn purpura but the bruising and discoloration underneath my skin looks like something else and I need to know if I need to be doing something or going to someone asap

I still get badly sunburned after slathering lots of sunscreen everywhere on my body. I've used a variety of different sunscreen. I am very fair skinned. What do I do? I'm definitely not forcing myself to stay inside.
