I think overall the animated Chimera Falin fightscene is better than the manga. Like the manga is GREAT, and the anime really managed to capture the horror of Falins reveal, but certain things just worked better animated, especially her fleeing. In the manga it's only one or two panels dedicated and they're not very detailed or expressive they're good, but the animation of her scrambling up the wall? Holy shit. Holy shit it's so amazing

It really shows how animalistic she is at this time, really hammers home the monsterness.

i like senshi pantyshots as much as the next guy but this whole "danmeshi fandom is progressive and feminist bc senshi is sexualised while marcille and falin are not" is getting annoying terf-y and gross there's plenty of smutty farcelle fanworks, there's plenty of eroticism in canon. the lack of gratuitous feteshisation is good yes, but "wlw ships are good bc they're sexless and pure" is a tired and bigoted take

Falin kicks up a fuss about eating monsters because complaining is enriching to her. I know this because when things are slightly inconvenient or I have to eat someghing I don't absolutely love I too whine and moan and complain. It's fun.

You can tell Shuro can’t actually handle Falin bc the moment he heard about the black magic he threw a fit. Like oh, you wouldn’t throw away your soul to bring her back? You wouldn’t commit unspeakable atrocities for her? Grow up.

Meanwhile, as soon as Falin is revived and hears they’ve been eating monsters, she wants to join. And Marcille is like, so unsurprised. You think Shuro could handle that? No. Leave the heavy lifting to the lesbians 🙄 you don’t have what it takes.
