Yo quick question: if a dissociative disorder is a notable and distressing disconnect from one's self and/or surroundings, does consistently imagining/experiencing your life as though you are viewing you and your surroundings in third person and also consistently narrating your thoughts and actions in the past tense as you're doing them count as a dissociative disorder?

Or am I just Kinda Weird?

#I'm leaning towards the latter #'cause this is just kinda how I engage with the world #but I was thinking back on the fact that I have memories I can *only* remember in third person and thought #'wait a minute...' #like it's not distressing or anything but I'm starting to think it's far from the default #jammering on

unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.

We really aren’t exploring the Perabeth college concept nearly as much as we should be. They finally get to live in peace and enjoy their youth. They can finally go on dates to the local café without the fear of a fight; they can stay up late watching movies instead of staring out the window wondering what’s lurking in the dark; and they can spend the day studying knowing there’s no looming threat of a prophecy. They’ve gone through so much, and they deserve to spend their college days getting to enjoy being young. There's so much fluff potential here and we're ignoring it
