Do you know what my biggest turn off on dates is? When they pretend to like the same things you do just so you can see how much y’all have in common. I don’t know if this is suppose to be cute or something but it’s not.

This is why people always have their best selves in the beginning, then y’all think you’re so compatible because they’re acting how they think you want them to act, and a few months later the mask falls off and they’re a different person. Now you’re too deep into it to drop it, and keep trying to bring back the same person you met in the beginning.

How do you expect anyone to love you for you when you’re not even being your true self? Just so you can have someone? Even though you’re not compatible? That’s the shit we call love? Like WHAT? lol

ways to be more ladylike

- smile at strangers

- avoid cursing

- be kind to others, but especially other women! nobody likes a girl who is constantly putting other girls down

- try to incorporate more dresses & skirts into your everyday outfits if you don’t already

- write thank you notes

- sit with your knees together and your ankles crossed

- don’t gossip, it’s unkind

- be positive & look for beauty in everything. don’t put yourself, or others, down.

- always choose dressing up over dressing down

- focus on your posture

- say please and thank you

- keep your voice gentle (and especially try not to speak over others)

- avoid being attention seeking

- in general, try to stay classy and feminine while still staying true to yourself!
