This colorful view of Mercury was produced by using images from the color base map imaging campaign during MESSENGER’s primary mission. These colors are not what Mercury would look like to the human eye, but rather the colors enhance the chemical, mineralogical, and physical differences between the rocks that make up Mercury’s surface.

pluto conj ascendant gives you a lot of charisma and always leaves an impression on people, if we add mercury in there we could have a powerful speaker!

What signs/aspects would make one a charismatic, persuasive speaker? Just from a superficial glance, it seems like fire signs, especially Leos, combined with Venusian influences might help. I'm thinking of Obama, Clinton, Trump but also Hitler, Churchill. And preachers too. They always seem so good at rousing a crowd.

I’ve known a popular YouTube astrologer with Jupiter in the 10th good at being well spoken in fron of others.

The 2nd house rules the actual act of speech. With your assessment I do feel the fire sign or planet influence is critical. Jupiter, sun mars even north node in 2nd can probably be attention grabbers with speech. Pluto may be even able to manipulate people with actual speech.

Mercury in the 1st house maybe but we have to be supported by a reason to speak, otherwise you get a writer from it.

sometimes i think about how constellations are an entirely man-made construct and don’t actually exhist inherently in nature. i mean, the universe just gave us stars, and we saw art and myths and stories in them. the capacity that humans have for seeing purpose in the incidental makes me realize just how lonely we are on this planet, desperately searching for meaning elsewhere in the universe.
