He’s by no means stupid or clueless (most of the time, anyway) so it won’t take long for him to pick up on your private struggles despite how you always seem like you’re perfectly fine, he’s surprising good at reading you

If you’re not opening to talking about it then he won’t try to push it or force you to talk to him, but you’ll both know

Starts to subtly compliment you whenever he gets the chance

Greeting you with a compliment about how you picked out a good outfit for the day (even if it’s not symmetrical, he’s willing to make exceptions for you and you only)

He can tell when it’s on your mind, things like how your smile or laughter in a light hearted conversation is delayed because there’s a lot on your mind

The change in clothing, the lingering looks anytime you pass by a mirror or glass or any surface that could display your reflection, seeming more reserved, etc.

He’ll never bring it up in public or if you don’t say anything first, taking the hint that if you’ve been acting chill and choosing to keep it to yourself then it’s because you don’t want anyone else to know and he’ll respect that, he can somewhat relate after all

Overall an amazing partner and your personal hype man

He might not be able to directly change how you view yourself but he can consistently let you know that there’s someone who does think your body is perfect in hopes that eventually you’ll learn to see yourself the way he sees you
