what she means: where is jasper? what happened to her? is she okay? we know lapis ends up back with steven but we haven't seen jasper yet. has she been bubbled? if she is, will she stay that way for a long time? how long until my brickhouse babe gets more screentime and proper character development? WHERE'S THE BEEF?!

Lazuli’s reply, though a less abducted take on their current position, struck a rather worn out chord. Obsidian fists began to loosen and along with them Lapis’ altogether strict tone. With these qualities in sight Jasper too began to notice her own lack of energy. Massive crimson stained arms raised slightly in a stretching manner if only to painfully be forced down by her own lack of vitality.  Having been chained to this...water SCRAT so long, they’d both been depleted of what precious energy remained from their earlier struggles. But with one gem unlike the other, stronger, more highly tuned for violence. It was only a matter of time.. and Jasper could count on that. So why not pass it with the only muscle she could extort.

“Move. I did that and nearly more to your precious freak of a gem. Steven was it. Roses’ abomination of an offspring.”

The looming figure wasn’t lying. Under Lapis’ iron fist Jasper managed to get close enough to the boy to see the pure terror  draped within his adolescent eyes. It was almost as if the escort’s aquatic chains began to bounce along with her sullen chuckles.

“You’ve no idea what yellow diamond will do to a monstrosity like that when she arrives to this dirtball of a planet.”

And with a teasing tug of her left arm she watched as her captor’s mimicked the movement. 

“He would have been better off in a cell. As well as you.”
