07/29/2020, summer studying challenge

have you done or are you planning to do any activities (such as work experience, summer schools or watching lectures) other than normal work during the summer?

yes, i have a lot of music stuff to do. everything (lessons, summer festivals) is virtual which is so different (not in a good way), but at least it is more convenient and casual. plus, because i have no idea which of the things i’m working on next year will even happen, it’s sometimes hard to find motivation. but i’m lucky that i like most of my repertoire!

Day 20-something (I’ve lost track), 12th June 

The past few weeks have been hectic! I finished up my final Uni assessment tasks this week (submitted one Communication essay on Sunday, another Communications essay on Tuesday, and my Law essay and Journalism video project last night), and now I’m free for seven weeks. I have never been more excited to do absolutely nothing.

Both  my big law and journalism assessments have been submitted - I’m officially free! (At least for now). I spent yesterday filming and editing a book haul video - you can watch it here!

is there anything better than a chai latte on a rainy day?

we’re well into the semester now, which means midterm and paper season is just around the corner. i’ve been locking myself away in the campus library 3 days in a row, so i decided it was about time i got some daylight. 

on a side note, would anyone be interested if i started a little newsletter? @post–grad​ has the loveliest tinyletter, and it makes me want to start my own. writing has always been a passion of mine, but i’ve never had the motivation to write/post what i write…..just an idea…..if it flops forget i said anything

as a german i now understand why i'm always so fucked up and confused when they say 'i love you' in american tv shows - they just don't get the translation right and that's why non-english teenagers might get a wrong picture of love

Thur: If you were the leader of your own country, what would be the first law you woild introduce?

Aside from the basic no crime laws, I'd say mandatory education until age 18, and that would include academic and vocational education.
