It appears that The Mystery Files of Detective Inaba series is concluded with the release of The Mystery Files of Detective InabaNo. 3 on September 22nd, 2017 in Japan. Since then, Suika Bar hasn’t said anything else about making any more games in the series.

However they had recently released a game called Detective Katagiri’s Case Notes which is unrelated to Detective Inaba, but also features solving the mystery – this time as a high school detective during her school’s culture festival. It hasn’t been translated into English yet.

So, my college just had an active shooter alert that turned out to be a false alarm. Watching this unfold has been interesting, because of seeing how people reacted:

1.) Students not in the locked down area took to social media beg for prayers for their friends who were being gunned down as we speak

2.) People expressing their disgust with the situation and demanding more gun control

3.) Gun nuts warrgarbling about how this could’ve been prevented with more guns

4.) People posting outright lies about seeing people gunned down and airlifted to the hospital

5.) A handful of people actually monitoring the police scanner with actual updates
