Dick Grayson’s Confidence Level??? Is so high??

Like omg. He meets Superman for the first time. This is a hero he has idolized his entire life. This is probably the most famous/powerful hero in the world. And what does he do?

He immediately starts telling freaking Superman the game plan. Superman. Not only is this an adult that he’s bossing around, but this is Superman who leads the Justice League and can easily break him into tiny pieces with a sneeze. Dude.

He’s calling himself a partner to Superman. He is putting himself on the same damn level as Superman. I cannot handle this kid. (Also side note how nice is Superman not to immediately dismiss this small child bossing him around?? And to take his plan into account?? Look at the amused/fond side eye he is shooting Robin as he flies away. Bless him).

Green Panel: Dick’s younger than I am now. But somehow he seems just as competent–just as sure. 

In this issue, Dick is somehow transported back in time and Tim and him have to work together to solve a case. (It’s really cute because they go back and forth being impressed with each other, but anyway.) My boy Dick Grayson is not even in his proper time, yet he invites himself to help Tim solve the case, and then starts to lead the way. Kid does not even know the details of this case and he is showing Tim around. He does not even know the way. What are you doing kid? 

I don’t even know if there is a point to this post. Just. Wow. I can not believe. Dick Grayson has legendary confidence. Like, he stops the Justice League with a look.
