This is the heart warming moment Prince William donned an Aston Villa scarf in solidarity with a young Pride of Britain winner.

Moin Younis, won the nation’s hearts when he collected his Teenager of Courage award at a star studded ceremony on Monday night.

The 17-year-old has Epidermolysis bullosa, which makes his skin blister and tear at the slightest touch.

Despite his constant pain, Moin, from Handsworth Wood, Birmingham, won the Pride of Britain Teenager of Courage award for his work as an ambassador for the Acorns Children’s Hospice, Birmingham.

And he shared a joke with host Carol Vorderman when he collected his award on stage about his shared love of Villa with the Duke of Cambridge.

Carol quizzed Moin about his love of Aston Villa and he joked: “Is there a problem.”

Host Carol then said: “I don’t know if there are actually any other Aston Vila fans in the house tonight.”

Cheeky Moin replied: “I think I know one”, and pointed at Prince William, who saluted him and smiled at him from the audience.

Teenager Moin then described William as the “main man” before Carol asked him about his Villa scarf.

The host then asked the audience to pass the scarf back to dad-of-two William and asked him to wear it while Moin was on the stage.

William gladly obliged with a grin.
