It should 100% be illegal for companies to make you give them your payment information when you sign up for a free trial version of their product. It is not necessary and there is no good fucking reason for them to do it. It’s blatantly just so they can steal forgetful customers’ money.

"Gender" as a term has been pretty well destroyed, in my opinion. It was fine being used as a synonym for sex, and/or to mean stereotypes associated with sex, but now that it gets used to mean some indefinable essence as well as the above, it's simply too confusing. I think we need to either get rid of the third usage or retire the term.
