Tips & Tricks To Get More From Your Printer
We all know how costly can ink & toner cartridges can get. For newbies, the cost of your ink & toner cartridges can cross the price of your printer in about a year. Other than that if not maintained properly, your printer can cost you much more. So, here are a few tips and tricks that will help you get more from your printer.
Tumblr media
When you are printing just for your office use or personal use, print in economy mode. This could be a great option to save ink & toner cartridges and will ensure that your cartridges will last a little bit longer.
Use Branded Third Party or compatible cartridges. I know is very tempting to use those cheap compatible cartridges, but remember being too greedy is not good. The best option is to buy branded compatible ink & toner cartridges, which not only are designed to meet the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) specifications but also the quality is assured and they come with manufacturer warranty.
Prevent clogs with the humidifier. One of the hassles with inkjet printers is the clogging in nozzles. Particularly for those who live in areas with low humidity. The solution to this problem is that you can use the humidifier in the room where your inkjet printer is placed. If you are not living in a humid area and are still facing the clogging issue than unfortunately, you’ll have to replace your cartridges. And after that, make sure you print a page or two to keep things running more smoothly.
Getting smeared printouts?? Well, that can be because you might not have completely removed the protective tape over the nozzle. While removing the tape, make sure you do not touch the nozzle plate.
We all know how important it is to find the right cartridge for your printer. Once you buy and open the cartridge, and it's not compatible with your printer, your money is wasted as you cannot return it once the cartridge is opened. And that is why you should always take time to find the right cartridge for your printer. To ease it out for you, here is the simple INK & TONER FINDER, which helps you to find the right cartridge for you in just 3 steps. Happy Shopping!!
Many people constantly keep complaining about Inkjet Output quality. One of the common reason is, the driver is set for the wrong type of paper. Different types of paper require a different amount of ink and a different proportion of inks are used to get the final color. So, that is the reason why it is very important to set the paper type, as that lets the driver know which color table is used.
When it comes to refilling the ink cartridges, it is advisable to fill the ink cartridges up to 90% only. Why?? Because, by doing so you are allowing the rest 10% to be filled by air pressure. And this way, you can get the best printing results for CISS printer.
Don't know your printers IP address?? Here is the full guide to it.
Low ink warning light?? Just wait for few more days before directly dumping the cartridge into the garbage. The low ink warning light is just a warning and that does not mean that your cartridge is empty, so wait until the print quality starts to diminish and then you are good to install your new printer cartridges. Additionally, if you accidentally run out of printer cartridges in the middle of your work, you might be able to squeeze a little extra from the ink cartridge by removing it from the printer and quickly giving it a blast with a hair dryer.

A Beginners Guide to Composting
So, now that you have finally decided to start composting, here’s the complete beginners guide just for you. Basically, Composting is a form of waste disposal where organic waste decomposes naturally under oxygen-rich conditions. It is the nature's process of recycling decomposed organic materials into a rich soil known as compost. And by composting organic wastes we can return back the nutrients of the soil. Now, let's know types of composting
There are basically 4 types of composting:
Backyard or On-site Composting
Backyard or on-site composting is most suitable for a household. It can be easily done by building a pit in your backyard. You can add grass clippings, food scraps into the pit. But be careful to not add animal products to the pit. The main advantage of backyard composting is that it requires very less equipment and time and it significantly reduces the amount of waste that needs to be disposed of and thereby saves money from avoided disposal costs The composting can take up to 1-2 years, but manually turning it can help in fastening the process!
In-Vessel Composting
This method is suitable for those who live in apartments and for those also do backyard composting. You can first collect the scraps into the vessel or as also known as kitchen compost bin and then transfer it into the backyard compost.   In this method organic materials are fed into a drum, silo, concrete-lined trench In-vessel composters vary in size and capacity.Conversion of organic material to compost can take as little as a few weeks. Here’s how to select the Best kitchen compost bin
Vermicomposting
Vermicomposting is most suitable for offices and people living in apartments. In this method, red worms or field worms that are normally found in the gardens or fields are placed in a bin with organic matter in order to break it down into a high-value compost called castings. One pound of mature worms can eat up to half a pound of organic material per day which means it takes about three to four months for these worms to produce harvestable castings, which can be further used as fertilizer for your plants.
Aerated Windrow Composting
This method can be adopted by those who accommodate a large amount of diverse waste i.e. yard trimmings, grease, liquids, and animal byproducts. This can be done by restaurants or cafeterias or even by the. In this method .organic waste is formed into rows of long piles called “windows” and aerated by turning the pile periodically by either manual or mechanical means.
Tumblr media
Now, that you have known the types of composting, let’s move on to the basics of composting
There are 5 basics to composting
Feedstock and Nutrient Balance
Composting requires a proper balance of “green” and “brown” organic materials. Green organic material includes grass clippings, food scraps, and manure, which contain large amounts of nitrogen. Whereas brown organic materials include dry leaves, wood chips, and branches. Obtaining the right nutrient balances requires experimentation and patience so, don’t worry if you don’t get it in one shot.
Particle Size
Grinding, chipping, and shredding materials increase the surface area on which microorganisms can feed, which is very necessary part of composting. So, make sure the particles are not too small, as, small particles may prevent air from flowing freely inside the pile.
Moisture Content
Water is the key element when it comes to composting. Water helps in transporting substances within the compost pile. Though the components in the pile may contain some amount of moisture, you can also add water to the compost to maintain the moisture.
Oxygen Flow
Aerating the pile allows decomposition to occur at a faster rate than in the anaerobic conditions. However providing too much of oxygen can dry out the pile. So, in order to aerate the pile, you can turn your pile once in awhile or you can also add bulk components like paper shreds etc.
Temperature
The rate of composting depends on the temperature.Microorganisms require a certain temperature range for optimal activity. While decomposing the temperature of the pile can reach up to at least 140° F.
