tmi: this yunjin fic is one of the few fics i decided to scrap and start all over again, explaining why it’s taken me a long time to finish it.

the good news is, i’ve finally reached the point where i’m more than happy with the plot and development of it all.

writing is definitely a process but i’d rather take my time and edit a piece until i’m happy with it than rush it and just force myself to write something i’m unhappy with.

DAMN i wish i thought of that when writing,,, but i guess i was too focused on chaewon and y/n’s connection being developed during that point instead of y/n’s actual emotions. my excuse for not putting that line in is i didn’t want to make y/n TOO sad (but ofc who wouldn’t be after that happening to them LMAO) so that it wouldn’t take too long for y/n to regain some sort of hope and confidence that they’d get back on the court

i’ll definitely amp up the dramatics in my next fic hehehe

welcome back, anon!! i wholeheartedly believe that LOTC is a piece that is definitely more enjoyable when you take your time to read it so i’m glad you waited!! when writing this, i really wanted to avoid making y/n and chaewon’s “lovers” part of the whole “rivals to lovers” trope come out out of nowhere without development. you pointing out that you could notice the dynamic changing helps me be put at ease that i avoided doing so. thank you for your encouraging words and support!! i’ll make sure to write more long fics in the future hehehe ♡
