I just realised I’ve had Honey being a year older than she should be all this time... should be updated now.

“Alright! I have a few pieces at home but most of it’s back here...” She headed into a room in the back, flipping the light switch. Obviously this was where she worked on more unique items. Fabric and papers littered a desk while a bunch of mannequins displayed fairly high-end clothing in various states of completion. It was... a mess to anyone else. But she knew where most things were. Except a few stray needles maybe. She was constantly dropping them and they just... vanished.

“Most of these are orders, so I can’t hand anything over except any of those-” She gestured to a corner where a rack of clothing was set up. “Buuuut, if you see anything you think she’d wear I can make something inspired by it, shouldn’t take long. Or you can take a look through my concept sketches and see if there’s anything there.”

“Alright.” Shadow smiled slightly, grateful for her understanding and encouragement. 

“If you have anything that’s broken or needs fixing, I can help with that too.” He offered. He may not be as good around machines or plumbing as Tails, but he still had a decent amount of skill and knowledge on how things worked.

“I’ll see if I can think of anything...” Honey found it hard to keep track of things like that sometimes. It was easy for her to get distracted, so she usually forgot about most things unless they were in front of her.

“Do you wanna see some of the stuff I’ve been working on? Might help you get ideas for something Rouge might like.”

“Aw, don’t worry about all that. I’ll make sure you don’t have to do anything too complicated.” Honey tried to reassure him. “It’ll be easy, you’ll see!”

She smiled brightly. “We can take another look at what Rouge might like, too!”

“I have nothing else planned for the day.” He shrugged to himself. He eyed her hesitantly for a moment before speaking again. “Maybe I could help you out around here?” He offered. He hated being bored and even more, he hated not being productive. Plus she had been so kind to him and he felt as though he needed to repay the favor.

“I’m a fashion designer, actually. I’ve done some outfits for some pretty important people... and a deal on a coronation, if the princess goes through with it. It’s gonna be a pretty big occasion.” Honey smiled, not exactly trying to show off. She was just excited, and she did have a pretty good reason. “Y’know, this place is pretty cool...” She added, looking around a bit.

“Oh, I’d certainly appreciate it... are you sure?” Honey smiled, looking hopeful. It would be nice to have some company before she got any real customers.

“I guess I could use a hand while I’m working on some new custom pieces...” And it would be nice to have someone to talk to while she did it. Things were pretty boring in the mornings.

Honey looked over at the tree for a moment before turning back to Pach. “I’m Honey... I’m kinda famous, but I guess being here you wouldn’t really hear much about things like that.” She wasn’t trying to brag, just trying to make conversation. She wasn’t sure what to expect with everyone here. It wasn’t often you run into a dinosaur mobian, too... this was pretty weird to her.

“Aw, that sucks. So you don’t have anything to do...?” Honey gave a sympathetic little frown. She hated when stuff got cancelled last minute. Though that was usually cause some entitled customer thought they wouldn’t have to pay for all the work she did.

And definitely not surprised he was a little confused by the phone, since last she heard, he’d been in stasis for a few decades.
