So of course, sunscreen is VERY important these days, even on a cloudy day? But did you know - it can kinda mess up your lashes? It's really important to choose and oil-free kind if you've got extensions on- there are many on the market in any large pharmacy. ​. ​PLEASE avoid spray-on mist type sunscreens, the fine particles will get right down into the adhesive bonds if you spray your face, and start weaking the bonds (resulting in faster loss of your extensions, or a bonding issue when you come for infills!) ​. ​It's also super important just before your infill, to keep oils off the lashes and face as much as possible. Whilst we do clean and prime your lashes as much as possible, if they've been exposed to a lot of oils and oil-like ingredients (glycol, glycerin) in the days prior to your application, sometimes that oil will soak into the lash/hair follicle, and the lash will, even after cleansing, be a little repellent to adhesives. What a year it's been! We're closing now for a little rest after a LOT of eyelashes these last few weeks 😆. Thank you to all of our wonderful clients, our lovely loyal regular customers and all of the new smiling faces we've met in 2019. It's been a pleasure to look after you all! ​. ​2019 was a big year for Lady Lash - we saw our 4th CBD salon open, we did the worlds-fastest renovation in Newtown, many from our teams went in (and won!) a few competitions, and our team grew and grew. ​. ​But without the ongoing support of our clients, we wouldn't be here today. So thank you for choosing us. And thank you especially if you couldn't even get a booking (it's a crazy time of year!) but chose to go on our waitlist for one. Fluffy and full - medium volume, cat eye flick - lashes by senior lash stylist Ebony at Parramatta! These beauties take time - about 2-2.5 hours, as it’s imperative that we totally isolate each lash, and then apply a symmetrical, handmade lash fan to each natural lash. If someone offers you volume lashes in an hour - RUN 🏃‍♀️- because it’s bound to be clusters/“express volume” which are heavy, gluey and not meant for semi/permanent extensions. It’s that time of year again! The upside is Mariah Carey Xmas carols on repeat but the down side is the roads are BUSY, the parking lots are even busier and trains seem to never run on time. Please take this into consideration when you’re planning your trip to see us for your lash naps so we’ve got the full amount of time for your appointment. At this time of year, we’re often booked back to back so unfortunately we don’t have a lot of wriggle room to push appointments later if you do run a bit behind (sorry!). So leave a little earlier or give a little extra time to find that parking spot/train to arrive on time and make the most of your lash nap time 🙏🎄
