I haven't seen the Knuckles series, but based on what I've heard about it, I'm disappointed to say the least. I can tell I'll end up hating it so I won't be watching it. I won't be complaining about it either, even though I could, I'll just say "I don't like it" and end it at that.
In general I've focusing on making more positive choices, and instead of complaining I'd rather do something that could make others happy, so--
I literally thought of doing it maybe an hour ago, so I still need some time to organize my thoughts and write a real outline.
So far, here's what I have in mind:
It's not a rewrite of the Knuckles series. Other than it being a short story that focuses on Knuckles, it has nothing to do with the series.
It'd primarily focus on all three Wachowski kids, so it's less a Knuckles story and more a Team Sonic story. Sonic himself would be less focused on, giving the story more room to focus on Tails and Knuckles.
I'm still figuring out the exact plot, but it'll probably be something slice-of-life. It'd focus on the trio, and how they're trying to adapt to life in the human world, both as literal aliens and as foreigners.
The story takes place purely in Green Hills. The town itself knows about the trio and accepts them...mostly. They can travel freely in Green Hills without having to hide. (There's NO way the town wouldn't know they exist after the end of Sonic 2, anyway.)
It'll probably only be six chapters long, nine at most.
Like I already said, I should write a real outline that goes into more depth, that's just what I've thought of so far. I'll spitball some more ideas in a reblog when I've got a decent handful of them.
Imma need that google drive/mega link to for the knuckles series as soon as I wake up tomorrow STAT cuz it’s not even coming to the UK until a day after and I’ll be DAMNED if I get spoiled on it
I honestly think life's a LOT easier if you just say "I don't like it" about something. You could spend over ten minutes justifying why or only ten seconds just saying it. Doesn't matter if you do or don't have a reason, if you don't like it then it's not worth the energy to explain why.
You don't owe anyone an explanation, so why stress yourself out over it?
Personally for me, I have some sensory issues that would make me unable to properly enjoy a show or concert, but it's a lot faster and easier to just say "I don't like it".
for ages i thought i didnt like drag because of internalized homophobia but it turned out i just don't like bright lights and loud music and really visually complicated things
cant believe they gave this woman enough money to ruin the environment for singing vapid shit of this caliber for over a decade. have some shame man. get a grip. what the hell are any of you even doing
So I'm bored and curious -- anyone know how rare the Super Set is? I forget if that's what it was actually called. It was the Jazwares set that had all three Super hedgehogs and the plastic emeralds.
Anyway, I actually have that set. It's sadly not in the packaging, but I was literally 10 when I got it, so I wasn't interested in keeping it sealed back then. I think it was 2012? It was bought at a Toys R Us to give you an idea of how long it's been.
I'm not really interested in how much it's worth since I have no interest in giving it away, I mostly just want to know how rare it physically is. It's been over ten years since it went out of print, so even the more well kept sets might be starting to fall apart.
My set is unsealed but it's in perfect condition, but that's because they've barely been exposed to sunlight, so the plastic hasn't degraded from UV exposure. I also don't pose or bend the figures. Jazwares figures were already infamous for brittle joints, and as old as they are there's a decent chance the plastic has gotten weaker, and I'd rather not find that out the hard way.
Wait, hold on -- if he was in the cave for seven years, does that mean he wasn't in the cave for three years? Because IIRC at some point the first movie established that he had been living alone for ten years
So he didn't even have a cave to live in when he was like five?
(Totally not thinking about potential angst)
Another teaser of the Knuckles series was found today, aired on Nickelodeon. Credit goes to ToonystheToon on Twitter for finding this!
