STAR WARS: THE OLD REPUBLIC // MAIN CHARACTERS
This is a list and introduction to my primary SWTOR OCs, some of which I have already posted about and some that are newer. I also redid this post to include better graphics, since I've remade some characters (transferring them all to one server) and since I just felt like being fancy.
Details will be below the cut, and will be written to correspond to the characters in order of top left to bottom right. Italicized introductory material comes from various canonical sources
༺═───────────────────────────────────────═༻
ALECRIC JETTHEN -> JEDI CONSULAR Human Male || Sentinel
Alecric is a great ancestor to a non-Legends/Canon Jedi Knight of mine, Marquin Jetthen, who dies protecting his padawan during Order 66.
For more than 20,000 years, the Jedi Order has worked to promote peace and balance in the Galactic Republic, but each new day brings with it a new threat, promising to rip the Jedi and the entire galaxy apart. If the Republic is to survive, it needs leaders and visionaries; it needs the Jedi Consular. Jedi Consulars channel the power of the Force for strength in combat and wisdom in diplomacy. Years of arduous training and meditation have sharpened Consulars’ minds to cut to the truth as cleanly as their Lightsabers cut through their foes. Intimate attunement with the deepest Force mysteries gives Jedi Consulars the insight and empathy to deftly handle charged conflicts that confound even the most cunning Senators and governors—but Consulars know when it’s time to talk and when it’s time to fight. When negotiations turn aggressive, Consulars demonstrate their gifts of foresight—anticipating and deflecting enemy attacks with fluid strikes from their dual-bladed Lightsaber. Before they can dispel the darkness in the galaxy, Jedi Consulars know they must first come to terms with the darkness within. There’s no avoiding the temptation to take shortcuts or even to use their knowledge for personal power; Consulars must constantly check their own motives. When tempted to step onto the path leading to darkness, Consulars must remember the tormented fate of the Jedi who have passed that way before. This is the only way they can unite the Jedi Order and the Republic and rally the troops to rescue the galaxy from the menacing darkness.
༺═───────────────────────────────────────═༻
AUKRII -> REPUBLIC TROOPER Iridonian Zabrak Female || Commando
Not all heroes carry Lightsabers. Some just have the will to fight. For decades, the armed forces of the Galactic Republic defended their civilization against the seemingly unstoppable Sith Empire. Despite countless setbacks, the men and women of the Republic military never backed down until the Senate ordered them to do so. These brave souls remain ready and willing to lay their lives on the line today. These Troopers are the embodiment of the Republic military’s highest aspirations—the most advanced fighting force in the galaxy. They are equipped to face any foe in any environment, but it’s not their gear that makes them tough—it’s their guts. The Troopers’ greatest weapons are their indomitable spirit, their unwavering sense of duty and their undying loyalty to each other and to the ideals that the Republic represents. In this age, the stakes have never been higher. The Republic must win or face extinction. The fate of the galaxy rests upon ordinary men becoming extraordinary heroes. This is the path of the Republic Trooper.
༺═───────────────────────────────────────═༻
AUSDEVA WHIAKI -> SMUGGLER Cyborg Male || Vanguard
Sometimes luck is more important than skill, but it never hurts to have both. Lawlessness has become common in the wake of the devastating war between the Republic and Empire. Shifting political allegiances and marauding pirates have made independent space travel a dangerous enterprise. Cut off from traditional supply routes, entire star systems waver on the verge of collapse. An adventurous spirit who’s not afraid to break a few rules can make a handsome profit hauling cargo to these hotspots, but it requires fast reflexes, fast wits and a fast draw with a blaster. Even then, the life of a Smuggler is always a gamble. Stacking up enemies as fast as they stack up credits, Smugglers only survive in this galaxy by being slick, sneaky and street-smart. Whether sweet-talking an attractive alien or bargaining with a hardened criminal contact, the Smuggler’s charm is a notorious asset, and often the ticket to turning around a deteriorating situation. If circumstances get too complicated, though, count on a Smuggler to always have an escape plan. Experienced in flying under the radar, Smugglers are amazingly elusive. Yet when backed into a corner, they quickly become cunning and often deadly combatants. Above all else, Smugglers make their own destinies. Despite their affinity for credits, Smugglers have been known to turn down lucrative opportunities when the clients have demanded too much control. Some Smugglers are even more discriminating—refusing to work with slavers and representatives of the Sith Empire. It’s a business where one is always looking for trustworthy allies, but they are often few and far between. Whether running an Imperial blockade or shooting down a double-crossing gangster, Smugglers are always flying by the seat of their pants. Every deal carries the chance for wealth beyond their wildest dreams… or an anonymous death in the harsh void of space.
༺═───────────────────────────────────────═༻
JAZAYLI STOWSHR -> JEDI KNIGHT Human Transmasc || Guardian
A symbol of hope in dark times, the Jedi Knight stands for the legacy of the Jedi Order—more than twenty-thousand years of protecting the Republic and keeping the peace across the galaxy. Jedi Knights have served as generals, guerilla fighters, and warriors for generations, with few able to challenge their legendary combat prowess. Through years of disciplined training and meditation, the Jedi Knight hones body and mind into perfect harmony. Combining the foresight of the Force with unrivaled reflexes and practiced physical precision, the Knight turns combat into an art form, gracefully executing acrobatic feats in tandem with elegant lightsaber tactics. A source of inspiration to allies and intimidation to adversaries, the Jedi Knight’s presence is welcome in any confrontation. The Order’s long history of fighting for justice has earned the trust of countless friends and the hate of innumerable enemies. Few, though, are foolish enough to challenge a seasoned Jedi Knight unless they have the skills and technology to even the odds. For many, the Jedi Knight is the guardian of a precious dream; a dream of peace, a dream of justice, a dream of a brighter future. The fate of the galaxy depends upon the Knight’s ability to keep this dream alive.
༺═───────────────────────────────────────═༻
KAVRIX A'NESONDE -> SITH INQUISITOR Dathomiran Zabrak Female || Sorcerer
Kavrix is the daughter to Romos, and tragically does not remember much about him due to being taken from their colony at a young age and under traumatic circumstances. If, or when, she learns that he failed to protect her, she would funnel that fury into her Dark Side powers.
The history of the Sith Empire is fraught with scheming politics and dark secrets—the lifeblood of the Sith Inquisitor. Treachery hides around every corner in the Empire’s dark corridors, and survival depends on an individual’s natural cunning and the will to manipulate and defeat their enemies and allies alike. The Inquisitor experiments with forbidden powers to not only survive in this cutthroat environment, but to excel and seize authority. Regardless of potential, few acolytes succeed in facing the rigorous trials to become Sith Inquisitors. Only the most determined acolytes attain such an achievement, but these Sith are often the ones to watch. Due to their manipulative genius, Inquisitors are skilled at exploiting both their enemies and their allies to further their own personal agendas. Channeling this Force energy, Inquisitors are capable of draining the life from their enemies and using it to feed themselves and their allies. Though their skills are varied and many, Sith Inquisitors are most feared for their ability to channel the energy of the Force, making them a spectacle to behold on the battlefield. Seething sparks of lightning explode from the Inquisitors’ fingertips and wrap their enemies in tendrils of pure Force energy. Because Inquisitors can twist the Force into lightning to stun, subdue, or destroy their foes, it has become their signature. Those who have experienced the sensation of the Inquisitor’s Force Lightning and survived forever recoil from the crackling sound of electricity. To reach the highest echelons of power, the Inquisitor needs more than Force Lightning and a razor-sharp mind. The most formidable Inquisitors dare to explore unorthodox practices by investigating the enigmas of the past and by unlocking new powers for themselves. The Force is a source of unlimited potential—a wellspring Inquisitors tap and bend to their will. Such intensity allows Sith Inquisitors to become architects of the Empire’s future… or simply the architects of their own destruction.
༺═───────────────────────────────────────═༻
LYRIJAN HACKSAW -> IMPERIAL AGENT Cyborg Female || Operative
The Empire dominates scores of star systems across the galaxy, but not through the power of the dark side alone. Behind the scenes, the cunning Agents of Imperial Intelligence track down and eliminate the Empire’s enemies—from intractable Republic senators to traitorous Imperial Moffs to bloodthirsty rebels with Republic ties. Imperial Agents must master the arts of infiltration, seduction, and assassination to advance the Empire’s causes; they face the opposition of a terrified galaxy and the capriciousness of their own Sith overlords. Imperial Intelligence cultivates a notoriously vast and efficient network of informants, enabling the Agent to navigate the galaxy’s political landscape with effortless suave. Naturally, the Agent’s allegiance to the Empire is without question, but great latitude exists for those so closely attuned to the Empire’s secret agendas—Agents often harbor their own mysterious motivations as well. Having pierced countless layers of intrigue, these spies know of conspiracies within conspiracies. Even close contacts find it hard to predict what an Imperial Agent will do until it’s done. The most elite operative within Imperial Intelligence is the ‘Cipher’ Agent—recruited and trained to carry out the most dangerous and sensitive assignments the Empire has to offer. Whether working undercover or carrying out assignments in broad daylight, the Cipher races along the razor’s edge of disaster, using carefully orchestrated tactics that leave little room for error—the smallest slip-up can be catastrophic. Each successful mission, however, shifts the galactic landscape in the Empire’s favor, and the Agent plays a supremely critical role in securing Imperial domination.
༺═───────────────────────────────────────═༻
ROMOS A'NESONDE -> BOUNTY HUNTER Dathomiran Zabrak Male || Powertech
Romos is the father of Kavrix, and sought out bounty hunting as a way to care for his family. When Kavrix was taken and sold into slavery, he devoted himself to his work, hoping one day to find her and be able to bring her home (by any means necessary).
Countless enemies stand in the way of the Sith Empire’s drive for domination. The Empire spares no expense eliminating these threats, offering massive bounties to employ the galaxy’s most lethal hunters. Earning a death mark from the Empire means a life spent in fear, constantly looking over one’s shoulder. It’s never a question if a Bounty Hunter will find you… only when. Both infamous and anonymous at the same time, Bounty Hunters are far more than mercenaries for hire—they’re heirs to a professional legacy—an ancient brotherhood with a glorious history. Tracking elusive targets across multiple star systems requires expertise, especially when the targets can be prominent, powerful, and often prepared for confrontation. Thrill seekers from all walks of life set out to become Bounty Hunters, but only the most hard-boiled survive in this competitive and deadly business. The Bounty Hunter’s path lies along the edge—the stakes are always high—and the path only leads two places, to a life of infamous glory… or to a quick and ignominious death.
༺═───────────────────────────────────────═༻
VLADYMIR VAN DAEMOUS -> SITH WARRIOR Human Male || Assassin
An unstoppable force of darkness, the Sith Warrior is entrusted with the task of destroying the Empire’s enemies and enforcing Sith domination across the galaxy. The Warrior channels the destructive emotions of fear, anger, and hatred to purge weakness from body and mind and become a being of pure, brutal efficiency. Destined to eradicate the incompetent chaos created by the Jedi, the Sith seek to rule the galaxy through power and intimidation. The armies of the Sith Empire are trained to accomplish this task, but they require the leadership of bold Sith Warriors—loyal and mighty overlords—who will drive them to conquest and victory. These cold-blooded conquerors waste no time with cunning manipulations and carefully-crafted plans. Sith Warriors crush their opponents and stride toward their goals with dreadful determination, leaving ruin and annihilation in their wake. Emanating awe and terror at every step, they accept nothing but absolute obedience from their followers. In turn, Sith Warriors can serve as loyal subjects to their own dark masters, often surprising enemies and allies with their rigorous honor and perfect discipline. Whether they align their ambitions with those of the Dark Council or become renegades in pursuit of their own goals, they are never far from the action. Their fierce hatred of the Jedi keeps Sith Warriors at the forefront of any conflict with the Republic. The passion to eradicate the Jedi Order fuels many of their actions, but that does not make them single-minded fools. Ultimately, the destiny of any Sith Warrior is his own to choose… and woe to those who would stand in his way.

It's hard to identify everything in the photos, and I don't have access to better photos to write out all the script (I don't have the drive space to redownload Sims and my mods…), but I can point out some of the larger thematic elements and always amend this or remake it when I get the chance—
Images and text below the cut as it's long, and the photos (while censored) are nude.

FLOWERS
Flowers often carry the same meaning via tattoos as they do when creating arrangements, with some holding a dual meaning in the context of crime and criminality. For example, Roses may often be used to represent love/romance, but may also be used to signify the number of people one has killed in their line of work. For Valeriya, it's a mix of both. Those cradling the skull on her thigh are meant to serve as reminders of her career, of the very thing keeping her alive, and those scattered about as filler are hints are her love lost (and her personal romanticism; she still holds him very deeply and dreams of being able to find a love like that again, though she'd never admit it). On the other hand, the Water Lilies and Peonies (at least, I believe they're meant to be those flowers) are symbols of good fortune and rebirth. Transformative blossoms that commemorate the fact she has been given the chance, through Mikhail, to begin again and become something larger than she once was.
NAUTICAL THEMES
The fuller nautical piece is rather interesting in its meaning. Ships, particularly those fully rigged or at full sail, often come to represent a sailor returning home, or having found direction toward a new place they consider home. However, beyond the heart framing, a noose lingers. This addition, while first appearing to just be some decorative rope, is a grim reminder of looming mortality and the feeling of being trapped by one's circumstances. For Val, it's a reminder to herself that while she has been granted the privileges she has, it's come at the cost of never being able to live a truly normal life again. Likewise, the anchor on her right arm is a grounding symbol. She's dedicated herself to this life, and it's where she will remain.
WEAPONS
There is only one explicit weapon, though for brevity we will count the finger guns here. The bleeding dagger stabbing through the rose carries a triple meaning: She has murdered someone (particularly in proximity; she is not just a sniper), she has murdered the legacy of her love (through her work; she has destroyed any chances at normality, and feels she has betrayed her past love for falling into such a life), and she is more than prepared to face challenges head-on (damned be the consequence). While mostly an aesthetic choice, the finger gun on Valeriya's ribs is symbolic in its own way. Guns in of themselves, and in tattoos, are symbols of power and protection. They are also Valeriya's preferred weapon choice. However, what differs here is that this piece is not an actual firearm, but feminine hands creating the shape (and maintaining a proper, steady grip). For Valeriya, this is symbolic of her survival. Prior to joining Mikhail's organization, she fought tooth and nail to survive (her years in the orphanage were abysmal, and things did not get easier on the streets). It's meant to signify that, at the end of the day, no weapon is responsible for her survival—she is.
ANIMALS
Valeriya has a set of matching birds on her calves. They appear to be doves, which are often a symbol of peace, love, and purity. Facing each other, they are tied together; a proper pair. This was one of the first pieces she'd received, and it's symbolic of her and her past love. A small reminder of the person she'd used to be. S nakes in of themselves are very charged symbols—they may represent a journey of transformation and healing, or a journey of losing one's self and betraying their core ideals. The fact it is hissing suggests overwhelming feelings (anger, pain, etc.), and an innate need to defend itself against perceived threats. For Valeriya, it's precisely that; a true symbol of herself and of the vicious cycle she has found herself in. Valeriya's central back piece is an interesting one. The bird (falcon, eagle, something with talons—) is symbolic of power, focus, and determination; a symbol of freedom at the hands of the hunter, more or less. It is also an important symbol in Russian culture and history. While the country doesn't have an official bird, the official emblem of the government prior to the downfall of the monarchy was the double-headed eagle. Similarly, during the Soviet Union's reign, the paragon falcon was a strong symbol of the country's government. It's a symbol of Valeriya's home, regardless of how detached from it she's truly become. The fact it is being shot down by an arrow can be symbolic of feeling that, by losing her love or by other means, she has lost her truest sense of home. It could also be symbolic of the fact it was her nation's government that has failed her, as it has failed countless others. Being a child in the foster care system, she was penalized for the abuses she faces; penalized when she defended herself and fought back against it.

“Beautiful as it looks, you cannot imagine the pain in the ass it is when getting an MRI done.” Lucas chuckles, watching as Val admires his sleeve tattoo.
Things had changed; they had changed.
In all their years apart, the duo was almost unrecognizable to the other. There were hints of familiarity—lingering ghosts on their visage—that had drawn their eyes to each other. But initially? That was all it was. A painful reminder of love and loss. However, the truth came out eventually. Subtle details that their childhood loves would remember. Artifacts of an era passed by, still neatly preserved and held closely just as they held each other now. It was… bittersweet, being able to lay beside the other after so long. To have the time to truly study what has changed amongst them.
For starters, both were covered in ink. Once naked skin now decorated intricately with blossoming flowers and symbols of the people they'd once been. It was funny, that with all this distance between them, they still had such glaring similarities. It was intriguing to Valeriya as she'd rolled her head along her partner's shoulder, head tilting up to look at Lucas as idle fingers traced along the intricate sleeve on his arm.
"Oh yeah?" Her voice was soft; almost whispered. "Why's that?"

“The last time I trusted myself I woke up naked and afraid behind a Denny’s.” Jackie recounts the experience casually to Vector, stuffing a powdered donut into her mouth.
The statement that had left Jackie's lips was blindsiding. It actually created pause within the man as he'd gone to take his own bite of the delicious snacks they shared. Brows twitched, briefly knitting together as dark eyes slowly blinked.
What did he say to that? Did he really want to know more about the process in which trust led to… all of that?
Frankly, he wasn't certain. So Vector opted instead to express gratitude that she had found her way out of that situation safely. It was genuine, even if parts of him gnawed at his conscience for failing to follow through with the potential story.
"Well… We are glad you made it out of such circumstances safely." A pause. "Though, we believe that trusting yourself and your judgments now certainly wouldn't lead to a repeat of the situation."
At least, he'd hoped. Perhaps a more watchful eye on his newfound friend would be beneficial.

LUNA YOUNGMAN — FC; TRACE LYSETTE IN MONICA (2022)

«────── « HEADCANON » ──────»
Watched Monica (2022) today, which like... You should absolutely watch it. It's a wonderful transfem narrative that isn't about coming out or being subject to violent, brutal transphobia to "show the audience how bad things can be". It's artsy (in the sense the film is, at least on Hulu, in a 1:1 aspect ratio and has a lot of quieter shots). It's comforting. It has a happy fucking ending. But anyway-
Since Trace Lysette is Luna's fc, and a big inspiration to my trans!Luna canon truth, I wrote out some headcanons for everyone's favorite neighborhood watch leader. Most are focused on her gender, bc I know I've posted a little more about her job before-
She moved in with Sarah after obtaining her degree, both because Sarah lived closer to the city and because her family wouldn't take her back, as she'd used her independence to transition socially and medically.
Sarah is one of few family members who didn't outcast/disown her when she'd come out prior to leaving for university. While not able to provide much support, Sarah did give Luna a decent amount of her old clothing she'd been saving to donate prior to her leaving.
She's estranged from her family, but it's hard to keep contact to a minimum when her work with the District Attorney often means working in conjunction with them. Of course, she remains professional and treats them as she would any other officers/legal personnel she works with. That respect is hardly returned, but she bites her tongue as it would put her job further at risk (given raising flags about the BBK investigation and starting her own community watch has put her on the radar).
She doesn't smoke anymore, but she used to while in uni. It was a combination of peer influence, stress management, and so on. She kicked the habit after a few months, when she'd begun to feel sickly.
Luna's chosen name is a product of her fixation on classic literature, which she's always had from a young age. For her 16th birthday, a family member had found a collection of works by the Roman poet Horace, which Luna has read front-to-back more times than she could count. Her favorite story is that of Carmen saeculare, or "Song of the Ages", which was a dedication to Apollo (God of the Sun) and Diana (Goddess of the Moon). While digging into the imagery Horace used to invoke Diana (the "two-horned queen of the stars"), she was interested in how Luna as an entity often came to represent both Diana and Juno (or, in some literatures, Diana with either Proserpina or Hecate) as more of an epithet. This resonated with her, and thus Luna became her name.
Likewise, Luna chose to keep her legal surname despite distancing herself from her family. She briefly considered completely changing her name, distancing herself entirely, but she realized that it was still her name. Her legacy. And it would be a nice way of rubbing salt in the wound to remind the rest of her family that they couldn't get rid of her completely.
Luna would love to be a mom someday. She's kind of put that on the back burner because of her… run-ins with Adam's crew and the BBK, but when things settle down? When she feels truly safe? She would absolutely look into adoption options.

Harry was intrigued by the way Kim had slid over to his side, head tilting and tired eyes watching him with a glimmering curiosity. He opened his mouth to say hello, but paused as he'd gestured with his notebook. Little dicks? In Kim's notes? Cuno, clever as he was, didn't seem to be around. There's usually an air of mischief when he is, and he certainly would not have returned it so easily… which means… oh no.
He had been the one to vandalize his partner's notebook! How horrible. So why did he draw such childish, crude imagery in the lieutenant's notebook?
[CONCEPTUALIZATION:] Perhaps it was supposed to be a message. About you, about him; about your work. The dick, as an art form, is certainly less abrasive than the dick as a sexual advance.
[ENCYCLOPEDIA:] There are many reasons one may graffiti penises on objects not of their possession. The psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud once affirmed that castration is a core fear that everyone experiences; seeing that a member of the opposite binary sex, such as the mother, does not have a penis may traumatize him. Why does she not have one? Will he lose his? If he does not have the phallus—and perhaps he never did—and now everyone would know he has lost it. And he would feel so, very ashamed.
[INLAND EMPIRE:] While this may be true, you forget that we were not… born with our own. We have worked very hard to acquire ours, and we have certainly not lost it.
[ELECTROCHEMISTRY:] Oh, we worked hard alright. Hard, much like our incredible and quite impressive—
[RHETORIC:] Quiet. If not literal… then metaphorical. Theory would suggest that it could be representative of who carries the power within a dynamic.
[AUTHORITY - FAILED:] There are better ways than this.
He pondered on the possibility, perhaps for too long. But this was a normal behavior for him, to almost still himself as he'd conversed with his inner dialog.
[VOLITION:] We thought it was funny.
[EMPATHY - FAILED:] Even if it is not our property.
Yes, that was it. Humor. Nothing philosophical, nothing deeper… Just baseline, childish humor. It clicked, and Harry couldn't help the lopsided grin he offered in response. He remembered now—even if the memory was playing back as if he were watching through a whiskey bottle, wobbling and unclear. He remembers having asked Kim to check over his notes, though the answer escaped him. As did the methodology in which he'd found himself procuring the notebook.
[VISUAL CALCULUS:] The lieutenant isn't roughed up, there are no signs of struggle on him nor his clothing. The jacket makes it difficult to tell what lies beneath, but we are certain there was no altercation.
[PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT:] We would remember such a feat.
Either way, he had been browsing the notes of their case, matching them to his and ensuring they were—almost literally—on the same page. He craved a drink, then another, then one more…
[ELECTROCHEMISTRY:] There's nothing wrong with that. It was after hours; time to let loose and party babey!
[PAIN THRESHOLD:] We disrespectfully disagree.
"I, uhm." Like a dog who had been scolded, his shoulders sunk, and he looked anywhere but at the lieutenant. "I thought it would be funny."
@tacticalvalor's starter [ Harry / Kim ] The lieutenant couldn't get Harry out of his head. But it's not like he admired him or anything like that. Now he's in his head like an annoying worm he'd gladly squash if he could.
"Detective." He said quickly as he approached his partner - he has notebook in his hand. "I don't recall drawing little dicks in my notes. Could you explain how they ended up here?" He furrowed his brow, hoping to hear a confession. He could also suspect Cuno, but he wouldn't blame the kid so much for it. Especially since this notebook is something that is not too easy to steal.
