Tai Kai（Leon）：We summarized our thoughts after playing those games, after playing them and watching examples from students before, we basically know about the structure of our project. Next step is to figure out an interesting, eye-catching story.

🟥Q：What do you think of Home’s ironic approach to gameplay ？

Qin Futao：Home's ironic I like the style of this game very much. It is a simple pixel style. In addition, I also think his sound effects are very good. And its interactive function is very simple without too many buttons. I think it is very easy to feel comfortable. After all, who would like to memorise a game with many buttons?

🟥Q：How does the use of repetition bring meaning to the story？

Qin Futao：Well, this problem, the game has always emphasised the warm burning of the fire and the profession of the protagonist, which will strengthen my sense of substitution. However, every time I go home, the only conspicuous thing is the fire. The important push story button is very hidden, which will make me confused.

Qin Futao（ziggy）：The example I wanna show is called Spirit Blossom, an interactive game adapted from the worldview novel of League of Legends. This is a post-death world. When you enter this world, your soul will find its own destination under the leadership of a spirit fox. This game does not have a fixed ending. It will get different results according to the content of your dialogue with spirit fox. I think such an ending design will give players and readers a lot of imagination. Everyone will have a different ending. This interactive game is very interesting.

Tang Kai（Leon）:My example is Vladimir Nabokov's fiction Lolita, 1955. This seems to be a story about a young girl seducing her step father and eventually has the step father falling in love for her, but then she left him for a pedophile, the stepfather then, after many years, murdered the pedophile. People might feel tragic for the step father, but it turns out that the whole story's the step father's statement on the court. So it's just his side of the story, and the truth remained unknown, left for readers to discuss.

1️⃣a crime story ends with “that’s my statement”.

2️⃣a child telling their teacher/a police officer etc. that their stuff has been stolen by someone/they’ve been bullied by someone, yet the cctv tells a different version of the story.

3️⃣a documentary of warm daily life, give some hints of an opposite truth near the endings

4️⃣some fairy tale-like stories told by a dying man(things can be over exaggerated when the narrator’s dying).

Tang Kai (Leon)🧟‍♀️: My role has the tendency for both TW(Teamworker) and RI(Resource investigator). I always enjoy communicating with people, and I'm rather an empathetic person so it's easy for me to understand how my teammates are feeling and provide emotional support. I believe I'll do a good job making the working environment pleasant for each one of us, hence promote our efficiency.
