ten did nothing wrong by becoming the timelord victorious actually. he was missing his wife

#and god knowing that he gets to be with rose. but no he doesn't! #that would drive anyone insane #and the way he accuses tentoo of being dangerous #is not because of how tentoo was created #it's because he needs rose. to hold onto his humanity. #s3 he is barely keeping it together IN HER NAME #'​that name keeps me fighting!' #and s4 he is almost a person again and he is able to move forward to a degree #but donna knows and can see how much he misses rose #& the whole 'I CANT GO BACK I JUST CANT' isnt even abt gallifrey #it's about rose #and then he does get rose back. and he's SO HAPPY #so genuinely happy for the first time since s2 #and then he aborts the regeneration and accidentally creates another version of himself #because HE LOVES HER and he knows how traumtic watching him regenerate was for her the first time #tentoo is born out of his love for rose #so ten losing her again is what drives him crazy #if donna had stayed. tbh i still think he would have gone crazy #dw
