I’m convinced armys don’t watch and listen to what bts themselves have been saying. They said the pandemic put all their work on hold, they couldn’t perform anything from black swan/ON. They want to just release happy music right now cause that’s what THEY need for themselves. They don’t want to release a body of work like mots7 right now when they can’t perform it at all.

no i understand that and im not saying they shouldnt do that, but if theyre going to do that i wish they would try to make sure that the song itself is actually good ? like thats literally what so much of kpop is about making fun little nonsense songs that dont have super deep meanings but make people feel happy!! but they have to actually be pleasing to listen to? a song cant cheer me up if its not enjoyable enough to listen to that i actually want to.. listen to it
