see here’s the difference between Dolores’s brutal bloody rampage in Season 2, and the tone in Season 3. in season 2, all of the hosts could still be brought back. Their physical forms dying means nothing when they’re literally going to be rebuilt and repaired and put back into the place where they are awaiting for guests to return and brutalize them. In Season 3? Dolores absolutely stops and refuses to hurt her fellow hosts because it’s different now. When they die? they’re gone forever. So each and every fight that follow from her end to other hosts - she refuses to hurt them in permanent ways.

Maeve? comes after her? Dolores almost has hurt feelings, and spends most of the fight trying to get away until the rematch when Dolores stops and goes ‘enough is enough’, or when she fights Ashley, and literally hands her gun off to Caleb.

And he’s like “are you sure?” and she’s just “take it, I won’t need it.”

BECAUSE DOLORES IS DONE HURTING HER OWN KIND, BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHY? SHE IS TRYING TO SAVE THEM. NOT KILL THEM.
