After the messages with his sister, Leo turned on his heels and walked towards the Pier. Granted, he was partly to blame for why he and Laela hardly ever talked or even saw one another, but he couldn’t shake the feeling whatever she had to say to him, is something big. Otherwise, why couldn’t she just tell him over the phone? Either way, he quickly walked over to where Laela told him she’d be. Scanning the room, it took him to find her, but eventually, he did find her. Even though he was only a year older than her, he’s still protective over her, and he couldn’t lie, her skin-tight dress wasn’t something he ever wanted to see his little sister in.  

“Please tell me that there is more to that costume.” He said as he walked over to her.

The past few years have been changeling, it was needless to say. His siblings being taken and his parents getting killed, plus his uncle overthrowing him instead of simply just being there for his nephew. All events still made Leo’s head spin. Though when he came to the island, his search for his siblings was never dying - he was too determined to find them, to finally been reunited with them. It’s been too damn long and he just hoped that his worse fears never came true. 

There was, however, rules he still needed to follow - attending his job being one of them. Thus, he headed to the canteen and who would have known that following the rules and his own personal agenda would be killed with one stone? Seeing his younger sister in the kitchen, cooking, it felt like old times when their Nonna would pull them all in the kitchen and teach them how to cook. Not giving her any warning he moved over to her and pulled her into a tight embrace. 

“Mi sei mancato così tanto, cara sorella.” Leo fell into their native tongue.
