ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE... You Know I’m down for all of this-- we’ve talked about each of these aspects separately and every time it’s always sounded like such a cool idea that weaves in really nicely with their own respective characters and arcs?? It’s also neat to consider that by having Serena has one of his descendants, it helps fulfill the whole Making Amends For The Past thing with Cynthia... like, coming full circle with one of them stopping someone who has Harrowing similarities to Volo in certain aspects. One does what he should have done, the other stops the person he Did become. And the Artemis and Selene parallel for Cynthia and Serena you picked up on with the champion alt??? HELLO??? I’M SCREAMING

And hell yeah I do think for the mentor bit, if she Knows volo is family, I could see her letting him take on more of a mentor role-- be it in the present day or her younger years, since the latter serena is a Very Lonely child and tends to cling to whatever family visits Floaroma. Or the thing we talked about with him supporting her ballet career from the sidelines?? Blursed.

But all of that would pave the way for her to teach him about mega evolution too if he asked. And the sparring partner aspect too! Because you know it could be in good nature or just mr god complex testing if she is still strong enough to fight for the world she wants 🙃
