TO BE NUMB , to ignore the white noise of emotion brewing within her mind and heart , it sounds like a dream . everything she ever feels is trapped within the cage of skin and bones craving an explosion and yet the nephilim still stands , impervious to the damage it whips through inside . there’s a hurricane brewing and if there’s one thing that renata fears , it’s the toll it will not only take on her to finally allow it to crack through , but what will happen to those around her . after all , she’s already discovered what intense emotions do to her . she is well aware of the damage that can be done .
