oh no worries!! i totally understand hehe — for your question, yes, i actually took a break from playing games (besides a few that are an exception such as minecraft), and haven’t touched genshin for months until the fontaine update dropped last year :DD tho it was quite a short duration of playing since i was busy from school :((

now that i mentioned it, despite feeling better rn, i haven’t come back to most of my games such as hsr right now because of school taking over my time (HUMSS is sucking my lifeline 💀)

currently i came back in genshin for chenyu vale and it’s the only game i’m playing as of now, but i don’t play it as often as i used to before :>>

i really liked- no. LOVED the Evermore story ! the best, longest, and the angstiest(idk) story i read so far. i swear to you that i cried thru almost every single chapter.

My wishing ritual is really long cause I know I'm really unlucky and I have to double check and make sure I don't need to prepare my crying when I lose the 50/50 to diluc or worse mona- i mean a weapon that I can't use(hoyo just won't stop giving me claymore users) but anyways it consists of sacrificing Bennett to the gods the day before the banner cause we don't want his bad luck lurking around (unless we're the one with back luck you gotta sacrifice gorou instead cause he seems lucky so we can claim his luck, I did both because i dont wanna risk it espessially with my luck being like bennetts) and after the sacrifice say aloud that you want to win the 50/50 a few times to your yelan shrine or whoever you want(I would pray to my ei shrine more since it brings more good luck cause she's an archon and the strongest but she wont listen to ur prayers unless you offer candy) and sacrifice everything you own to the character you want but make sure not to give them too much cause its annoying, then on the day of the banner instead of sacrificing maidens you give them blessings instead and by blessings I mean climbing on top of the barbatos statue and before you sit use all the character's ult(or skill if you want) because you will use all your energy getting good luck and...it uses energy too then sit on it and make sure to check pity first and if you're almost on soft pity you will get extra luck(like getting a double 5* or getting their weapon early or even better, getting c1 with their weapon but we know that ain't happening) and if you're not guaranteed go back to ur ei shrine or character and offer them their favorite food, paper primos, and lit a candle and burn a paper cutout of what they hate the most to trick them into liking you, useually it will work if you did it right but if it doesn't work and you need to go to hard pity(ahem ayato) I have a backup ritual, I would try other streamers wishing ritual cause streamer luck like the naughty corner (or qiqi in da fountain😋) and if you're REALLY THAT DESPERATE you should sacrifice maidens before it, I would sacrifice maidens on a high place like dragonspine or the top of the zhongli statue of the seven ect. There are many maidens to sacrifice but I don't have any 5* maidens so I would use Barbara or sucrose and then go to the naughty corner or whatever streamer's ritual you're gonna use and wish that hoyo will spare you because ur desperate😚

NOW IF IT DIDNT WORK- yeah I would've lost hope and do some hardcore farming for them and hope it's enough (ahem ahem ayato and ayaka ahem)

Yeah I try too much to win the 50/50 cause I don't have lots of 5* and ik I should be grateful for any 5* as a f2p but sometimes I badly need it cause I'm a hard simp
