     Dimitri knows that allowing someone who does not bear a CREST to attempt to wield one of the HERO’S RELICS ( he isn’t so sure they should even be called that, Areadbhar BREATHES like it is ALIVE; it HUNGERS ) they will be harmed by it. This is why he doesn’t allow Ashe to even ATTEMPT to wield it... but he hadn’t EXPECTED for it to bite him upon simply HOLDING it. The king frowns deeply at the lance he’s already taken back away from his love, nose crinkling somewhat.

          “AREADHBAR is being a BAD LANCE, and so I will put it onto the WALL and see how it likes THAT!” The lance responds with a SHUDDER, the JOINTS of its hand-like spearhead CLICKING at him. “Oh, SHUT IT, you may dislike Ashe but I find him to be VERY sweet.” With that, Dimitri sweeps over to the wall bearing a mount and settles the grumbling weapon onto it before turning back to Ashe with a SMILE.

          “Do not let it get between us, it is just BITTER that I give you more attention than I give it.”
