But while those are the colours he's mostly found in, Kensuke's outfits might occasionally sport green, red, blue, orange, magenta pink, or grey hues. His favourite colour, though, notably seems to be yellow, due to how Oguchi usually depicts him wearing at least one yellow thing outside of his default school uniform in The Caligula Effect.

𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒:

The smell of coffee grounds, which is seemingly fastened like glue to his clothes

The smell of apricot shampoo that could be whiffed from his hair as he uses the Ichikami Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner Set when showering.

Since Kensuke regularly consumes it in a wide variety of Japanese dishes, his breath would smell like dashi during the day, but if his teeth has been recently. cleaned, one would detect floral and white tea accents from the tooth paste he uses.

Canonically, when asked what style of clothes he likes, Kensuke has stated 'something unique' yet at the same time, he doesn't want to be too boring or eccentric, so he'll apparently choose clothes based on his 'own style'.

Out of habit, Kensuke has a tendency to tilt his glasses higher up with his fingers.

Every time he's feeling smug, Kensuke's lips would form a shit eating grin or smirk.

Canonically, he often crosses his arms across his chest and raises his arms like this.

During moments he's feeling jealous and annoyed, Kensuke would grit his teeth and furrow his brows.

"So, remind me again why I haven't been invited to a headlining performance from you?" Despite the teasing lilt to her tone, it was very much an earnest question. She passes off her bag of fries to him as they sit in front of the gallery, expectant eyes lifted towards him. (Kensuke!)

"A-Ah... my apologies, but my last recital had to be cancelled because I was feeling a bit under the weather," Kensuke sheepishly admits after adjusting his glasses further up the bridge of his nose. Honestly, as embarrassing as it was, he managed to catch a week long cold, to the point where a classmate had to perform Ave Maria in his stead... and since he felt so uncool for falling sick, he opted not to tell Ryu, which was something he now couldn't help being guilty over. To that end, he'll bow his head ever so slightly to express just how sorry he was.

"But before I graduate next year, I'll be sure to invite you to another one," Kensuke then promises, only to pause once Ryu handed him her bag of fries. "Oh, you don't mind me having some too? Thank you, Ryu-senpai." ...And upon graciously accepting it, he'll pluck up a fry from the white paper they resided within. Once he finishes eating one, however, he'll soon let out a pensive hum. "Hm... not bad. With some avocado sauce, though, I bet they'd taste more delicious," Kensuke finally muses aloud while letting his gaze wander up towards the ceiling. "That reminds me, Ryu-senpai... where did you buy these from?"

"Senpai..." Kensuke finds himself murmuring out as if at a momentary loss for words. ...Then again, he realizes she did have a point, causing him to eventually nod with a sigh.

"Yeah, you're right. I should probably be proud of what I already managed to accomplish on my own... even if it might not be to everyone's tastes," Kensuke then acknowledges. Truth be told, he still wasn't entirely confident when it came to his piano renditions of his favourite classical pieces, but he did try his best to deliver the best performance he possibly could, so even if the audience might have politely applauded, he had to remind himself some might have genuinely enjoyed.

"After all, I did give it my all out there. ...But whatever the case, thank you for coming out here to support me, Ryu-senpai. As it was my first recital, I was admittedly nervous, being up on stage for the first time," Kensuke finally admits with a single hand lifting upwards to tousle the back of his sandy brown tresses.

"You don’t wanna just flip to the end of the book, do you? that’s no fun. " She quips, offering a lopsided grin before she turns back to the shelves. She never meant to turn this into a conversation about, well, life. But here they were in some random aisle of the bookstore, her digits lazily running along the spines of dated anthologies. "What about you? Are you taking it day-by-day or do you know where you see yourself in a couple years, Hibiki?" (for kensuke from a meme i hope you're still accepting! c:)

At the sudden sound of her voice, it doesn't take long for Kensuke to immediately pause with the fingers that had clasped a page soon halting. Incidentally, the book he scoured through happened to be be Kenji Miyazawa's 'Strong in the Rain: Selected Poetry', as he was hoping that by looking at other peoples works, it might somehow bring him out of his writers' block, but it seemed he had an audience, causing him to wince. ...And of all the people it could have been, Ryu just had to be the one to notice, which certainly made things slightly awkward.

Why, when it came down to it, Kensuke could not think of anything less cooler that being caught, seeking inspiration from a book like some lost scholar; regardless, he'll subsequently turn. "Ah... hello, Ryu-senpai. And yes, come to think of it, I suppose I should skim through this a little more before flipping to the end," came his eventual acknowledgement, and within seconds, he'll finally bring himself to glance up.

The moment she next speaks, however, his brows were quick to droop, for even thinking about his future proved stressful. Honestly, to this day, he wonders if maybe his parents made the wrong decision by agreeing to fund his education fees for music college, since his imposter syndrome seemed to only worsen day by day as exams seasons neared.

"W-Well..." Sure enough, Kensuke then proceeds to nervously adjust his glasses further up along the nape of his nose. "I can't exactly afford to be that carefree; after all, my father has made it clear he expects me to take things much more seriously if I am to continue my studies. Of course, the plan is to graduate eventually, yet other than that... I confess I can't really picture what my life would be like that far ahead; in fact, I'm starting to doubt whether or not I even have talent."

By that point, he'll soon let out a sigh. "But enough about me, Ryu-senpai. Can you envision where you'll be a couple years later?"
