hc + 🎵 for a music-themed headcanon

answering this meme about thor's music taste.

i don't think thor listens to a lot of earthly music; either because he's always working on a mission or focusing on something else to endure / enjoy things on his own————but if he were going to i think he would shift a lot of his focus to contemporary music… many of which being composers that i enjoy. something calming, something stimulating & isn't too much to distract from anything he might be doing.. i accumulated the tiniest playlist of things i think he'd like.

flip side… i think if he were to venture out of his stubbornness & work. he'd probably ADORE heavy metal, drill / uk drill, i composed the smallest little muse list for that too.

i have so many headcannons for his hair because i love it so much so i'm only going to do the color & length variations here.

answering this meme about thor's hair.

hue: i know there are blonde thor truthers out there, i wish i was one of 'em———but i am not. i think depending on the lighting & if his powers are in use; when lightning begins to spark, his hair could look almost dirty blonde or a warm chestnut. but it's more of a deeper rosewood fading into a warm umber as ends begin to split & frizz. he has dyed it before… don't ask him what for because he will most likely lie or divert to something else. his hair has been platinum blonde, hot pink, silver, red, etc... blame can be placed on various exes that he's unfortunately trusted with his locks. ( i'm sure jane has tons of pictures of pink hair, but again, sore subject... let's move on. )

length: naturally.. his hair grows very long & fast; seeming to reach his shoulders within a couple weeks of recent trims & then slowly once it starts to trickle off his shoulder—blades. the longest it's been was waist—length though it can grow much longer than that. strands are strong, obviously, able to withstand constant electrocution without shedding or being cut ( the only effects being discoloration at some parts ). he does have an affinity for keeping his hair just over shoulder—length; dreaded & braided in some places with some sigils & beads with homages to his mother & fallen friends.

bonus - age: i do believe as he gets older, his mane will freckle with greys before turning pure white, with deep & dusty lighter blues making highlights ( parts in which, lightning as run through the most. ) i also think when he ages, he'll opt to not having it cut so often & let it grow as it sees fit. braids will no longer be a regular occurrence & will only appear when / if, he needs to be at an event or during combat ( he'll probably opt for a bun instead of braiding because wrinkly fingers won't be able to manage that ).
