Ah, it was a nice day out. The head of the Kamisato clan strolled the street alongside his trusted companion Thoma. The two seemed in no hurry at all, there were a few obstacles before they arrived at their destination in the form of children. “Kamisato-san.” were the name being heard followed by laughter from these children, after playing with the famous or rather infamous Arataki majority of the children could be found along the streets heading back home. They would always bid their farewells considering they would often have games with him too, however, today was an important day for Ayato that he simply could not play with any of them..at least not yet. FINALLY, they’ve arrived at one of the country’s stores.

 “Ah,..this is why you were in such a rush to leave. I should have known you would come here my Lord.” A light chuckle left his lips as he took a pair of booster packs for local trading cards. “Oh but of course, a warrior must strengthen his mind as well as his body.” Said the man as he walked towards the old man to pay for his purchase. “Ahhh, let’s see what we’ve obtained.” Said the man as the blond hovers behind him to take a look at the cards as well. Nothing but disappointment painted their faces as a little canine crashes against the card holder’s shin causing him to drop the cards in surprise.

It had been a week since he'd seen the inside of his estate, however, as always work took him out of Narukami and now he was simply a day’s journey from reaching the city once more. However, before he WOULD go home he figured that he should at the very least surprise a certain oni companion of his with a brand new champion considering he’s donated yet another winning beetle towards a young aspiring battler. “Hmm, the shade is quite lovely, however, in stature alone it seemed to lack whatever vigor it would have had if it was larger. Still One’s flaws possess hidden strength. It is your imperfection that will lead you to change. The choice lies in you little one.” Spoke the young samurai crouching down to allow the small beetle to crawl upon his hand then slowly creeps up along his forearm. “I see you’ve decided to take that first ste- Oh as I live and breathe. “It’s okay little one, from this day forward I shall care for you..my newest champion.” Said the young man strolling the streets holding a box riddled with holes to keep it ventilated for the beetle that stood within upon a bed of leaves. His walking continued until he saw..a new face actually. Not someone he recognized at the very least, a tourist that braved the everlasting storm perhaps. Either way, it was still his duty to ensure all tourists enjoyed their time within Inazuma. “Greetings, you seem lost.”

Today was a special day, they were receiving a special guest all the way from Mondstadt of whom needed no introductions. Once her ship was due to arrive at the harbor she would be greeted by none other than the Kamisato’s housekeeper Thoma. The blond spottedher ship, and then finally saw her specifically, giving her a friendly wave hoping she would see him. As she approached him the blond smiled. “Hello there, Welcome to Inazuma. My name is Thoma, here on Lord Kamisato’s behalf. You’re scheduled to meet him personally within Narukami, I was told he’s conducting specific work in town which is why he could not be here to greet you in person Ms Gunnhildr.” Now,the young man stood straight and signals the woman to follow him into town. 

Considering she was Ayato’s very own honored guest her arrival in Ritou was short lived. “This is Narukami, I really hope you enjoy your stay here. For whatever reason you’ve come to Inazuma of course, with a smile on his face he was shocked to see Lord at a vendor..a trading card vendor that sold Trading Cards towards the children. “A-ah…So this was the important business M’lord was talking about, hahaha I should have known.” 

Of course Ayato was quite serious about his job, however, today would literally be the only day within his busy schedule that he could ever HOPE to get that gradient-foiled Raiden Shogun trading card. Opening the booster pack, he was only disappointed that he did not find the card he was hoping for. “Oh well, no one did say this would have been an easy task. There is no failure except in no longer trying.” A little proverb he said towards himself as he turned to see Thoma and their guest of honor. A light sheepish chuckle left his lips as he rubbed the back of his neck and slowly approached them. “Oh, Ms Gunnhildr your, quite earlier than expected, my my I must be a sight for you as of now. You have my utmost sincerest apologies. My name is Kamisato Ayato, and I hope I can be of assistance to you.”

Another day on his own, still it meant the safety of others were safeguarded but there are still things he needs to prepare for. Inazuma had faced adversity but only escaped it with the aid of an unknown traveler. Ayato will admit that he underestimated what the shogun was truly capable of and it was something that he would not let happen again However, for now he is seen enjoying a strong drink near a street vendor’s stall.

The man was seen at a street vendor, enjoying a refreshing cup of tea in one hand and of course with a stick of dango in the other. Times of leisure was something rather rare for him, and when he’s managed to capture just SOME time for himself then why not indulge oneself wholeheartedly as one would when working? Though, he turned his head towards the side to see a new yet unfamiliar face. Not a local at the very least, but it was all the same for the young man to greet this stranger with a smile. “Good morning young traveler.”

Another visitor, it seems that they were coming out of the woodworks ever since the vision decree had been abolished. Now he worked tirelessly to abolish the sakoku decree as well, Inazuma would see nothing but success once it started trading with outside sources, whilst it was true they produced quite fine materials locally, but they would only prove to grow once they’ve re-establish trading. However, all of that didn’t matter as he saw a young woman walking away from the food cart. “Short on mora today Ms? Or perhaps could it be that the vendor had nothing to your fancy?”

“Here we are my lord.” The blond housekeeper says, guiding the Kamisato heir through the crowd as they prepare for a show. “They say the magician that does these shows is quite entertaining.” Says Thoma as Ayato turns to face him for the moment before facing the stage. “Then I can hardly wait, honestly magic was something I haven’t spectated since the days of my childhood.”

Through the city of Inazuma a voice could be heard telling a story, the story of a dragon that once protected a nation only to be regarded as a monster by the very people he protected His thoughts and minds corrupted by outside forces but hope was not all lost, The bard continues to tell the story until it finally arrived at its conclusion where it now lived a life embracing what it truly means to be free. The people were clapping, Ayato included as he stood within the crowd. A talented bard, nay the best he’s ever seen for miles..but just who is he? and what was his purpose here? Given the shape of his vision he hailed from Mondstadt but that’s all Ayato could fathom.

Here he was enjoying a simple bowl of ramen out in the open, it was really a rare opportunity that Ayato had free time (or in this case he’s stolen it by sneaking away). His lips blew upon the steam radiating from his bowl as his eyes narrowed towards the side to see..a stranger. Judging by their clothes this person was definitely not from around here. “New here stranger? If so, you've come to the right place for one of Inazuman delicacies. I’ve been coming here ever since I was just a child, the family that owns this food cart do their utmost to provide us with rather fresh ingredients.” Ayato says with a smile on his face. “Please, don’t let me intrude if you’re planning on dining here.”

Home again, oh how glorious it was to be surrounded by one’s loved ones. It was something he cherished above all things and to once again prove it he announced that he would be handling the meal for the feast him, Thoma and his sister would indulge in. The meal of choice were three bowls of Yakisoba, a rather simple dish that he can make to perfection which he proves by completing his task in a little over an hours, however he still felt rather empty inside..this dish needed more of a spark. He deemed it rather boring and plain (eventhough cooked to perfection.) What he did was pour out ONE more bowl of noodle that can be used in case one of them surprisingly brings a guest with them. “Ah, wasabi. Literally the spice of life.” He added more than he should for extra flavor and even added potato starch in hopes of making the sauce thicker and giving it that nice golden brown that it would karaage, however what he wound up making was nothing short of an extremely spicy monstrosity. BUT who knew, maybe by the grace of the electro archon it was still delectable and since he wouldn’t dare try this himself..why not have his guine- honored friend taste it. “Oh Thoma, would you come here for a moment? I’m in need of your assistance.”

It was that time again where the people of Inazuma would present gifts to both him and Ayaka. Honestly it was an entire event he could have done without because the people’s security and happiness were all he truly needed in order to be content. His doors had then opened to reveal the female stepping into his room of work. Curious eyes glanced at the stranger only to discover it was the traveler, Oh Ayaka and Thoma had said nothing but good things regarding her. “Ah, Lumine was it right? My dear sister has told me all about you, please come in further and make yourself at home.”

It was a quiet day within Inazuma which was a welcome thing considering the events that had transpired in the past. However, he’s heard from both Thoma and his dear sister that the stagnant heart of their respected Archon had changed by the hands of the Traveler. He had sent out workers to go and collect her, hours later they had done just that. Ayato sat behind his desk, his face holding a stoic expression “You have my thanks, that will be all.” The hydro lord spoke as his workers took their leave and thus the softer side appeared. “Sorry to have brought you here on such short notice. My sister and Thoma spoke rather highly of you and considering your exploits..well I just had to meet you for myself. “My name is Kamisato Ayato, and the pleasure is all mine.”
