@saiyanandproud - A Valentines date with Mariko
"Make sure you're ready before we head up the tallest mountain in Kodaiho, because we're mostly going on foot. Before you ask, yes, we'll fly past obstacles that require far more effort than intended. The point is to enjoy the natural surroundings as the sun sets. By the time we reach the top, it will be nearly pitch black... So stay close and alert." He reminds, a cloth rucksack of food worn against his back. Despite his large set of wings, this evidently wasn't a problem for him.
"...This is quite unorthodox, I know, but I figured it wouldn't pose a problem for either of us. Humans go hiking all the time. I thought it would be an interesting venture."

@risingsouls - A Valentine date with Nappa
If he had received her text the other night, the big guy should be arriving any minute. It's not every day she went out of her way to doll up her appearance, from her modest makeup to her freshly bought crop top and jeans. It was a casual date, after all. Or... Maybe he had bigger plans? Regardless, she could feel the tension building within. Was he serious about their last talk? Something about underground fighting?... She'd have to bring it up again, as a point of interest.

@viopolis just a silly lil response for this because it's still Sunday
Honey didn't know whether to laugh or cry, paralyzing anxiety weighing heavy at her feet. Of course. Why waste time with anyone, let alone me? A difficult pill to swallow, one she knew was prescribed from the beginning-- and yet she waited, as if the pill weren't necessary. A foolish decision. So much time spent chasing after ghosts of dreams that would never come true, she's tricked herself into believing he could bear any interest in her outside combative skill and progress. He was simply her mentor, one that could elevate the power she's becoming accustomed to. There was never anything more.
"...Liar."
Softly did that voice tremble, just low enough to almost be missed. But something ate her like a violent sickness, right as she peered into his fuchsia glare once again. The answer. So subtle, so discreet, but a sensation only she would know having endured nothing but his worst.
"...You're lying. If you really have somethin' better to do, ya would have fucked off before I had a chance to say anythin' in the first place. Say it to my face, Slick."

Short starter for @risingsouls!
"Angry with me because you lost the last drinking game we had? It's not my fault your tolerance for liquor isn't perfect like mine, but alas, you could always try again. Why don't you decide how our little game goes this time? What are your conditions? I'm willing to wager I'll find new ways to best you."

"...Didn't I just lay them carrots... Right here?"
It was as if her batch of crops had simply vanished, or were moved just as she turned away from her market stand. Had she simply forgotten to place them there?... No, a check-up of the loaded crates would suggest she already set them up for sale-- so where did it all go? Did she drop them somewhere? The farmer shifts her attention to all the villagers passing by with their own stock, paranoid that one of them has attempted to thwart her business. Again.
"The mornin's just started and the locals already pissin' me off. Great."

@hopefromadoomedtimeline liked for a starter!
The freezing, crisp air did nothing to mask his increased breathing, as if confronted with a sudden weight in his chest. It aches was not born from fear, rather, it manifested upon catching the sight of lilac hair and a familiar set of ice blue eyes. Clearly this man is someone he knew, yet the visual connection was lost on him. The Bio Android's fists would clench, hiding the increasing discomfort with a direct confrontation.
"How do you know my name? Just who the hell are you to me?"

He could have sworn that the farmer suggested her land was void of any human for miles, so where was this new signature coming from? He hadn't quite left the house, as if waiting for the energy to fade into nothing... Yet it only drew closer, just far enough to be within the outskirts of this vast territory. The farmer was all to busy tinkering with gadgets to notice he had left, not that he ever needed her permission. For Cell, this new development could placate the ever increasing appitie to be entertained with a solid fight. He just needed to see it for himself.
He surveyed as far as the eye could reach, tracing this visitor's ki to a small clearing by the farm's beach. He did not feel the urge to rush in, not yet, but hang lowly within the thick foilage.

Short starter for @kiealer! [X]
"Ah! Hello, you must be Tira's girl, right?... Ninazu?" A voice called among the crowd, waving her hand. She gripped a folded sheet of paper, a quick gloss over confirmed she found the right person. Why Tira couldn't arrange their meeting in a quieter spot was anyone's guess, but Honey knew she had her reasons. Getting together at a bustling festival would be a fun way to break the ice... If they were children.
"She's told me a lot about ya, you know. We're close in age and I guess Tira wanted us to get acquainted. Maybe even be friends?... For her, I decided to give it a shot."

Soft Intimacy Meme - [ACCEPTING]
β...Nina? Ya made somethinβ for me?β Honey questions, caught off guard by the sudden presentation of a woven gift basket. The fabric cover appears to be handmade-- Did she sew it together herself? Maybe it was Tiraβs handiwork? Perhaps even a talent that was passed down to her daughter. Regardless, this was not something sheβd overlook, at least not with the healer.
βOh man!... I wish I knew we were exchanginβ treats! Woulda prepped you a meal sooner had I known! Cβmon in, take a seat in the kitchen. βBout time we caught up on each otherβs lives. Weβre overdue a chat.β

@saiyanandproudβ - Continued here [x]
Mild internal panic, he could not have been less prepared for her arms to suddenly wrap around him, let alone last longer than a minute. It was slow, but the gesture was returned with bittersweet vigor, having missed the hybrid woman more than he realized. Separated, Cyto masks his lamented expression with an apologetic shrug. She had searched for him?... The very thought made him ill.
βI wish I could have told you myself, but... Itβs hard to work around my old manβs horrendous timing. Next time, I will not leave without seeing you first. I promise.β He explained, sincere in his vow to never make her worry. Hell, it should be a policy by this point in their relationship.
βAh, visiting your family? I would ask to join you if it werenβt so obviously strange to be seen with me. Even with a disguise, I wouldnβt want to risk embarrassing you.β Cyto hummed, arms folding against his chest. βShe decorated around the tail end of November, just before we got home. Our plans are mundane, just the average holiday indoors. If anything, I wanted to make things interesting with you by my side-- err, to hang out. Whenever you have the time.β

β straighten your posture. β Cell @ Honey!
β...This better?β She breathed, corrected yet again for something as simple as a minor centimetre out of place. Not a step, not an inch. Her stance needs to be perfect. Not that his constant beatings could ever break her spirit, but the aftermath of many would cause a few problems with a body so weathered. His silence did nothing to ease the building worry that he would βadjustβ her footing once more, steeling her gaze as she braced for his judgement.

@viopolisβ asked:
β iβm not done yet. β Cleo @ Cyto ( or either of the parents, tbh. Whoever you're feeling most! )
Cyto was torn between fulfilling the request to continue their spar, or cease all fighting for the sake of his brotherβs recovery. Although older and far more seasoned a fighter, Cleo was prone to sudden breakdowns in energy-- alarmingly so. Much like father, a stubborn spirit would not allow such things to slow his progress against bitter odds. For the scarlet cicada, the answer was clear: they had to stop for the day, maybe even a whole week... But how to explain that without causing an argument? Heβll need to think of an excuse, a good one at that.
βBrother-- Erm, perhaps we should take time to eat and refresh ourselves before we go for another round? I could use the moment to catch my breath. Youβre pushing me further each fight, you know?β

@saiyanandproudββββ sent a moonlight starter meme!
(π΅) My muse sings your muse a lullaby.
Where had the time gone? An ocean of colourful lights filled his vision, hazy images of the day kaleidoscope his memories as his consciousness flickers. She had helped him into bed with what little strength he had left, sinking so comfortably that he had almost forgot to thank her. How did he end up like this again? He couldnβt have been that burnt out from all the fun they shared-- and yet, there was no denying he had overworked himself before their planned outing. Standing before the face of fatigue did nothing to hinder his desire for Marikoβs company. Her happiness came before his own, enduring the blistering ache in his muscles if it meant he could stay near.Β
A faΓ§ade made of thinnest glass would surely break under his misguided hubris, collapsing just as the sun began to set. There was an attempt to play off the incident before it would inevitably happen again, and again, until he simply stopped moving. Weary eyes would cast outside his bedroom window, moonlight illuminating an otherwise dark room. Was it that late? Why hasnβt she left yet? Cyto was slow to turn his head and face the concerned patroller, a haggard sigh seeping past his lips.
β...You donβt have to stay.β He breathed, reaching for her hand. It dwarfed hers by comparison, remembering how nicely it fit within his palm. The faintest smile crossed him, fading just as fast as her soft voice would interrupt the silence. Mariko was... Singing? To him? She didnβt seem the type to share songs so openly, almost convinced this was some kind of hallucination. He wasnβt about to complain, not while she could soothe his burdened soul.Β
β...Itβs beautiful.β
