“Fred! Over here!” Usagi called out to her friend, gesturing wildly with one hand while she clutched her notebook with the other. Fred was a frequent guest on her streams and sometimes the two went over ideas and games to play. Usagi hadn’t had him over in a bit and was ready to discuss what their next stream could be. When he made his way over she grinned at him. “I hope you’re not too busy. I was hoping I could hide behind the counter and brainstorm ideas with you. It takes us forever to decide on a game so...here I am! Trying to plan ahead for once, even though that isn’t really my brand.”

usagi wasn't even paying attention the video game anymore. she honestly didn't know why she even bothered coming when her heart wasn't in it. no, her heart was daydreaming of the masquerade, of her kiss with tuxedo mask...it was the only thing it could think about. ever since that night, things have been so different. her dreams even more vivid and the names of the people in her dreams were starting to be revealed....endymion...tuxedo mask's name was endymion. she wanted to sketch that name everywhere. she wanted to sing it, but it wouldn't sound so good coming from her voice. now all that needed to come together was the rest of it. it all felt so close...at the tip of her tongue...yet it just wouldn't form correctly on her lips.

she hadn't even heard mamo come up to her. she had just been staring at the game over on the arcade game with a dreamy sigh. "i really kissed him..." she mumbled. "and i haven't seen him since...what a mystery..."

usagi loved being at the arcade. she would play these worn-out video games all day if she didn't have to work. there was nothing like losing herself and her vision to the bright lights and sounds of a good arcade game. she was probably losing so many braincells playing them but she wasn't really using them on anything useful anyways. as she beat her next high score she shot up and pumped her fist in the air, completely unaware of the fact that there was in fact someone behind her and she did sort of hit them on their shoulder.

her movements were fast and she was apologizing up and down before she even realized who she had hit. when she realized it was mamo, she sighed, stopping mid-apology. "oh, it's just you. i thought i bumped into a kid or something."

usagi wasn't sure how she got here. yes, she was at this festival with rei and somehow mamoru too but that didn't mean she was there with mamoru. he was just there. a plus one that usagi will never understand. they were in line for the ferris wheel and before usagi knew what was going on only usagi and mamoru had entered the cart and rei was going on a different one with some guy usagi didn't recognized. as the ferris wheel turned it dawned on her that she was trapped with who could be her mortal enemy at times. what did she do now? talk to him? inch away from him? it was a really weird position and when she glanced at him, she felt her heart thud hard in her chest.

now that was not what she expected. looking away as fast as she looked over, she crossed her arms over her chest and slumped in her seat. "this was not how this was supposed to go down..." she mumbled, pouting to ignore the weird feelings going on. "i'm gonna kill rei....i sure am...."

Usagi didn’t read that much, but that didn’t mean she didn’t go to the library to look for some easy to read romance novels. She was a sucker for star crossed lovers, destined to fall and destined to fight for one another. For some reason it brough a sense of familiarity even though she never experienced it herself. As she was browsing she sensed someone getting rather closer to her and for a split second she wondered if she was being followed. She touched her broach that contained the source of her sailor guardian abilities and was just about to react until she noticed it was just Phyllis. “Oh! Hey Phyllis!” Usagi said with a small chuckle, her hand still on her broach. “I forgot you work here. Are you busy?”

usagi was trying to find a new record player since her old one just about ran its course. she figured she could get a new record to go with it and was excited at the possibility of having something that matched her room better. as she started browsing through the many records her fingers brushed with someone else’s. looking up she came face to face with her ex, berlioz. her cheeks turned bright red as she moved her hand away like he had burned her. “oh! sorry...i can get out of your way....” this ended on an awkward note and usagi was not good with awkward interactions. she only made things worse. she cradled her hand to her chest. “i promise i didn’t do that on purpose...”

Usagi had texted Rei to meet her at Pizza Planet a while ago and was starting to get impatient. She wanted to play the games and eat but she knew that would be rude to do so without her friend by her side since she invited her along. Rei didn’t normally go for this stuff easily and Usagi was always trying to help her lighten up a little. She loved her so dearly and just wanted to remind her that they were young and could have fun and still be sailor guardians. 

After waiting for a total of ten minutes tops she decided to order some pizzas and breadsticks and sit in a booth. When Rei found her, she was already stuffing her face with a grin. “Rei, you’re here!” she said happily, pausing her eating to get up and hug her friend. “I have such a fun day planned out for us! Want some pizza?”
