So before settling into a home life life with Jamie, my s/i worked as an article writer at the top news company in King's Row, and one of her closest friends in the company was a news anchor named Catherine. Catherine often encouraged Ruby to be more adventurous and take more risks to help advance her career, and in all honesty, if Ruby hadn't taken that advice then she may have met Junkrat. And speaking of which, Catherine was the only person that Ruby told about her relationship with Junkrat before she went into hiding with him.

SO UM. I did already write a fic about this scumbag getting his ass handed to him but uh. Daniel 😠 He's older than Ruby by several years and is an editor at the same news company as her, and he's one of those gross men who's tried to make a LOT of unwanted advances on Ruby, even saying that he could help her career in exchange for just one night together. Ruby always refused of COURSE, but she was always too meek to properly put him in his place. Luckily Junkrat took care of that for her 😤😤

Full Name: Ruby Fawkes-Ramirez

Occupation: Former Journalist/ Online Article Writer, Now a Full-time Stay-at-home Wife & Mom

Quick Details: She grew up in California before getting a scholarship that allowed her to move to London and write for the city's news service. However, she was basically only allowed to write clickbait articles for the two years that she was there.

My Little Pony S/i

Full Name: Ruby Flame

Age: 21

Occupation: Studier of chaos magic and Discord's sole pupil (and lifelong partner)

Quick Details: As a filly, she was constantly reprimanded for being "too chaotic" and sent to her school's library for detention, but it was during these detentions that she found books about Discord and the chaos he brought to Equestria. Even though the legends framed him as the villain, Ruby Flame felt like she could relate to him and that they were both just misunderstood.

Mystery Skulls S/i

Full Name: Ruby Pepper (although she's usually called "Cherry Pepper" as a nickname)

Age: 21

Occupation: Hostess/ Waitress at her foster parents' restaurant while making music in her spare time. Trying to turn singing into a full-time gig

Quick Details: Despite being more than two feet shorter than Lewis, she has a much more fiery personality than her older, soft-spoken brother and is more than willing to fight her own battles, as well as his, and anybody else close to her.

Space Dandy S/i

Full Name: "Ruby"

Age: 20-something

Occupation: Drifter, Helps Dandy out with his various alien hunts and get-rich-quick plans

Quick Details: Ran off from her home planet to start a life doing whatever she wanted, and met Dandy when he answered her distress call after her ship ran out of fuel and was floating aimlessly thru space. Dandy doesn't know a lot about her past, but he doesn't really care either.

Full Name: Ruby Ramirez

Age: 27

Occupation: Crew Counselor ranked Lieutenant Junior Grade aboard the Starship Enterprise

Quick Details: Became a counselor due to her caring nature and desire to help people, but she joined Starfleet because of her intense crush on Jean-Luc Picard when she was growing up (which has, of course, now faded, and now that she's working on his ship, she sees him solely as an authority figure.)

Stranger Things S/i

Full Name: Ruby Ramirez

Age: 30

Occupation: Novel and Short Story Writer, Works part-time at the local café in Hawkins

Quick Details: Gained major notoriety for her one and only erotic novella. Her move from LA to the small, quiet town of Hawkins was in the hopes that she'd be able to focus more on the type of fiction she really wants to write: horror mysteries.

Tom and Jerry S/i

Full Name: Cherry Parfait

Age: 7

Occupation: ...Housecat?

Quick Details: Her owner moved nextdoor to Tom's from the big city. She's actually the better mouse catcher, but she still always cheers Tom on whenever he attempts yet again to catch Jerry.

Wreck-it Ralph S/i

Full Name: Dr. Ruby Redblood

Age: Unspecified, around mid-20s

Occupation: Tutorial Character in "Undead Apocalypse 3". In the context of the game's story, she is the head neural virologist who was studying the zombie virus in the facility where the outbreak first began.

Quick Details: Despite having 3 PHDs and being generally hyperintelligent, she was programmed to get herself into dangerous situations that the player has to save her from, so even outside the game, she tends to be very clumsy and in general very unlucky with ending up in unfortunate situations.
