When Echo saw Rex, he was overjoyed and immediately hugged him. If Rex was here, then he didn't go crazy like the rest of the brothers. It hasn't been long since Echo became part of Bad Batch. Echo did not regret his decision. He still loved 501st and considered them family, but without the Fives it was no longer the same home he had to leave. And he himself was no longer the same Echo as he was before. He need some time for himself. It was best for everyone. Besides, he didn't say goodbye to them, especially Rex, forever. They will send each other comms, exchanging stories and will meet again one day.

There was only Crosshair and he's on Havok Marauder now. Hunter, Tech, and Wrecker left for supplies and most likely won't be back anytime soon. Echo put aside the datapad he'd been studying for the past few hours. He had to learn all the tactics and strategies that Bad Batch had in order to be no less effective than them. Deciding to rest a little, he left his room, which he shared with Tech, and went to the kitchen to have something to eat. Crosshair was there.

"I almost finished reading your playbook that Hunter gave me. It's quite impressive."

Just for a second Thera’s eyebrows rose, followed a moment later by the corners of her lips. She’d been teasing, the way they often did - the way she often did without being certain if Echo actually meant a word of it, or if it was only jokes and play. So she hadn’t been sure what she expected him to do, but a sudden jump from idling to a hundred-plus hadn’t been it.

A chuckle purred in her throat, smile widening and her leg, extended in tight stretch pants, definitely not pulling away. “I’ve been told so now and again. But as for them hugging you, Trooper ... you might have to work up to that.”

Echo smiled slyly and, looking into her eyes, slowly bent down and kissed her knee. He wasn't sure if it would help him, but he was interested to see her reaction. Besides, what Echo loved most about women was their legs. Thera's legs were very beautiful.

"I don't know about the others, but I love beautiful legs. Yours are very beautiful ones. I may not be Fives, but I can draw your legs."

He kissed her leg again, grinning cheekily.

The mission was personally approved by Vader (Echo still did not understand how this man knew him) and Echo developed a detailed plan for this mission, not forgetting to send an encrypted message to Rex. If all goes well, the rebels will have new information about the empire. Echo was sure of success.

He looked at Mara as they boarded the shuttle. He liked working with her. She was a good man, but Echo was not mistaken about her. If he was mistaken in any way, she would kill him to protect the emperor.

"If all goes well, we will get rid of the rebels in this sector."
