Inside Ironhide's collar was Scout, the previously terrified bunny balloon critter now tucked away in the safest place he could find on the big red mech; his open collar plates that held his neck cables. every now and then he'd pop out from his hiding spot to stare or listen to what Ironhide had to say before hunkering back inside to curl up against his warm neck cables. Ironhide was safe, Ironhide was home.

Scout seems to be in an excitable mood. The little bunny can be seen hopping about wherever he can on Ironhide, slipping and falling into the red mech’s collar plating before he pops back up, climbing up and splooting himself across the mech’s face with a giggle.

Ironhide was content seeing Scout again, especially when the little creature was this happy. He let him jump and reside on his usual resting place. By the time Scout was pretty much hugging Ironhide’s faceplates, the mech used his digits to pat the little creature gently, as he’s supposed to do.

Ironhide was still recovering from some injuries here and there after some mission almost gone wrong. And ever since then, he begrudgingly stayed at base to ease and heal… which meant that he’ll spend his day either around the humans, or alone. The mech wasn’t great at socializing with humans… but it wouldn’t hurt to try right? Without moving his helm as he checked his scarred, patched up servo, he replied.
