#sorry this is me ranting in the tags but #i'm not going to reblog that post about bucky in the thunderbolts because #a) the original article said bucky redeems his worth in the comics by becoming captain america which #'is unearned for mcu bucky but the same thing could be said about falcon' #and i just-- #and b) bucky did not need tfatws to fucking redeem himself and i will stand on this hill #til my last breath #in fact he made more faux pas in 2 episodes of tfatws than he did in 5 previous movies #all the redemption came from him trying to patch up shit that the plot pinned on him to do when it patently didn't make any logical sense #for his character to be doing
