" i never thought i'd see you again... " (your choice of boy)
She allowed herself a moment of weakness, of humanity, giving the young boy a careful hug. Her hands hid the tremors she felt, but the elder Phantomhive was relieved. Ever since that godawful awakening from her rest when the ship struck the iceberg, and then those... things. Claudia hadn’t been with her family when the Campania had been overrun by those creatures, but she had met up with Francis who’d explained the situation to her. And then was herded into a lifeboat by said daughter who was insistent that she go first.
Even so, she had paced the deck of the ship that had rescued them, and hadn’t stopped until Ciel had returned - with that scavenger of his in tow. She’d let Elizabeth fuss and fret over him, but nonetheless hovered in the background until he approached her. It was only then, and only then, did the elder Phantomhive sigh quietly and drape the blanket she had around her shoulders on his.
“It’d take a lot more than a bunch of undead cretins and a sinking ship to kill me.” She said in a bit of an indignant tone, “Maybe I should’ve killed a couple more of them, they did ruined my dress.” She said with a sigh, grinning a bit before Claudia tussled his hair some. “They’re going to be bringing out some tea for us soon enough, you go and rest. And I mean it.”
