Chief Dalia looks over the little stand she and the MBCC staff had set up for Stargazer, puffing out her chest the tiniest bit. She was sure to have a line for this particular type of thing, so it was nice that they could afford her a bit more of an atmospheric and comfortable space in the outdoor courtyard. They only had to hope that the weather would keep up for it...But the first sunrise of the new year glittering off the shiny, silky exterior was enough to make Dalia feel satisfied for the day.
With a small chuckle to herself, along with a few talks with staff on how to organize the upcoming queues, she parts the curtains of the stand to check in on the woman herself. "Hey, you feel okay in here? If you need me to make any changes, please let me know." There's her genuine concern, along with a serious expression mixed with a soft smile. "Let me and the staff know if you need to take breaks from doing fortunes too. Everyone probably wants their fortune for the New Year, so I know it'll be really busy..."

She had just begun to wrap up the latest divination, a feat of vague words, even more vague future - if just to give a tease to the eager listener to see if they would ask more. The matters of love, friendship, wealth and health are popular, but do they really want to know the exact weight of the unknown? Perhaps not, which was why she was content with just sharing the indeterminate words. Stories that let the listeners dream, paths that let the mind wander into the unclear plains. After all, humans were bound to fight against what they were told. The rebellious nature was something of a kin to the creature borne unto the surface.
When she saw the all-too familiar head pop into her tent, her smile widened. There was nothing as refreshing as that face.
"Perhaps I could rest now. After all," she began to wave her hand, which glowed somewhat against the orrery that swirled beneath it, before it fell onto the table with a gentle thud. "I could always continue later in the evening, when the stars and moon are stronger. The crowd can wait for a clearer prophecy, no?"
She turned to the crowd that was initially disappointed, but their faces soon lit up at the thought of crystalline tellings of their future. A weary smile adorned her ever so beautiful features, and she turned her blue gaze back to the one who was kind to her time.
"Now then, to my favourite little monster... Happy New Year."
