[PeggySteve] Peggy had her arms crossed, smirk on her face as she merely stared up at Steve. Oh, she knew what he had agreed to, and, of course, she couldn't help but poke some fun at his expense - simply because Peggy knew she could get away with it,

"So, Captain America can fight Hydra all day, but he's powerless against a small girl with eyes as wide as the moon?" Peggy asks, laughing gently, "I'm guessing it took her...thirty seconds to break you? Though, I doubt the dog really helped you."

Peggy laughed more, shaking her head slightly. She meant no harm with her comment; she just found it humorous how he could protect the World every day, but a girl with signature puppy dog eyes could easily melt him,

"You're soft Steve, but that's one of the best things about you - one of the many reasons I love you," Perhaps some softness his way will stop the look he's giving her, "Though, I must ask, does Anthony know, or are you just hoping he never leaves his laboratory, and therefore, never notices."

It wouldn't take long for the whole tower, hell the whole Avengers team even to learn about Boof. And more so how Steve wasn't even able to imagine saying no to the idea of allowing Brooklyn to have a dog. How could he do it anyway? For a number of reasons, he felt her having a dog would due her some real good in the long run. First off, it taught her responsibility. Dogs required a lot, after all. Food and water are given walking, but you had to train them as well. Sure, he made sure vets bills and such were covered, but she needed to find out about his grooming needs as well. It would help Brooklyn with her fear of dogs of course as well sort of like support for the smallest Rogers who wasn't the best with Dogs as is. Not to mention it would be a good thing for Brooklyn as well to just have that added company for support.

Didn't mean a thing when Peggy got wind of it and he could tell the moment he saw the expression on her face.

And she didn't miss a beat to start teasing him nor did she waste a second to start as he had bearly stepped two feet into the building just now. Steve set down the pet store bag they couldn't really only come back with the dog after all. Besides Steve pretty sura Coop wouldn't be too keen on the idea of having to share his dog food with the pup. Beside even if he were Coopers bowls were elevated and boof wouldn't be able to reach them at his small height. Meanwhile, Boof was a pup where Cooper was older he had adult food Boof needed pup chow. And of course they needed a leash a collar some tags. A few toys and training treats. They needed a basket halfway through the meant to be quick five minute pit stop. Steve figured anything that they didn't need or missed Nina would be more than aware of for help. Kind of tje dog expert here. But Brooklyn seemed to wish to keep this a durpise so he had to just go off his limited knowledge and advice from the workers in the store.

"Didn't need the full thirty seconds Pegs." Steve responds with flatly slightly annoyed already at the call out. "In my defense though I feel there is a massive difference between literal Nazi's and a girl with a dog hitting me with thier big ol sad eyes." Steve tries to defend himself a little bit in a clearly already lost battle. "Beaides a dog will be good for Brooklyn, it'll teach her to be responsible for one. A valued life skill and lesson over all. And uh? Ya know help with that fear of hers too and uh something about support?" He forgot the argument he was ready to set up and use in the case he had to hear about this.

"Look I had a very spild foundation to defend myself here and I think that is all that shoild matter right now." He ends off with as if it was going to get him anywhere really.

"Yeah just don't tell hudra that, if they pulled off thier plans brook with a dog might have actually ended me if I didn't find her first." Steve jokes with a bit in turn as he rubs at the back of his neck. Least Peggu was willing to give him some mercy here which he was more then willing to accept. Moving to warps his arms around Peggy so to give her a proper greeting now, as he places a kiss to her cheek.

"I just hope between two dogs and two gremlins some how they will balance out all that enegry."

"Though, I must ask, does Anthony know, or are you just hoping he never leaves his laboratory, and therefore, never notices."

"Oh thays easy, I aint." He smirks pretty proud at the moment as he dose. "I decided Brooklyn can handle that. I mean her dog after all. Besides I refuse to be the only victim to that attack combo of Brooklyn and Boof." He adds in with a slight shrug of his shoulders.
