I have so many autistic/low empathy/otherwise neurodivergent Dr Benzedrine headcanons in my drafts that I'm afraid to post bc I'm not autistic/low empathy and don't know enough to know if I'm being accurate/respectful in all the details

#most of the low empathy stuff in my ideas came from like... he basically had a traumatic brain injury #I haven't decided yet if when I write it it'll be a regular type of thing or if it'll be some drug or experiment but either way the effects #are very similar. I'm considering it essentially a tbi #and honestly I think I need to do more research bc I want to talk about this and write it but I also want to be respectful of #real people's experiences yknow? #anyway the main thing is Benze being worried about his capacity for love and friendship when he doesn't Feel those things normally anymore #so... yeah. if anyone wants to weigh in on any of this feel free my asks are open :) #she speaks! #(I am a bit adhd but pretty well managed so. different type of neurodivergence yknow?)
