#I wrote a poem about a boy who was raised by a horror movie style sentient puppet and I think it's among my best works #(I'm on the upswing of the rollercoaster of creativity as you can tell) #(I am feeling irrationally good about this poem or story or whatever it is) #it's very dark weirdly almost gory #but also. there's hope #because the boy and his sentient-puppet brother are talking to each other #the boy is processing his trauma #and his big brother is listening #is letting him take out his frustrations on the brother's floppy puppet body #and it might be a metaphor for a hard conversation about trauma #or it might be literal #it might be a were-puppet and it might be maybelline #anyway. that took up a lot of time today I could have been writing my essay in but do I regret it? absolutely not. #I got an absolute banger of a hopeful horror poem out of it #even if my professor doesn't like it (and I have no idea) #*i* like it!
