I have always had problematic skin. Redness, an oily T-zone, sensitivity and acne-like blemishes are just some of the issues that I have faced, and continue to experience on an ongoing basis, especially when I feel particularly stressed out.

I’ve used a number of serums, moisturisers, beauty tools and masks, (the list goes on!) to try and combat my skin concerns. Some have worked, but I often find that these home-use remedies are just not proficient enough to target such acute issues.

I have also turned to professional aestheticians to try and understand exactly how to best manage my skin flare-ups. I have had a number of very costly facials to help improve the condition of my skin and my overall appearance. After receiving my Geneo device, I immediately charged it, excited by the thought of conducting my own facials at home. I love the look and feel of the Geneo unit itself, it’s a nice weight and really easy to hold, this is down to the egg shape. So, my first thought was that I think it would be suitable for anyone to use, especially for those that might have struggled with heavier home use devices in the past, when they were not so portable.

I soon got to work tackling my skin, by starting with the silicone head to cleanse my face. It was reassuring to see that Geneo have used silicone, as it’s the most hygienic material, over a brush for example, meaning that bacteria won’t cling to its surface after use. This is really important if you suffer from break outs as often the bacteria can inflame broken skin, causing further stress to the skin and the healing process is exasperated.

I used my everyday cleansing solution with my Geneo and It took around 3 minutes to fully cleanse my skin; I used circular motions to ensure that every inch of my face was squeaky clean. The vibrating sonic technology meant that my skin felt super renewed immediately afterwards; it felt as though I had had an exfoliation treatment already, and I hadn’t even started on the oxygenation step of the process! The second step was to remove the silicone head and to replace this with an oxygenation capsule (these are in the pink sachets). I applied the treatment gel (this comes in the green sachet) all over my skin, spreading a thin and consistent layer across the whole of my face. In total you get 4 capsules and 4 gel sachets, meaning that you should be able to give yourself 4 oxygenation treatments. The refill pack works out to be just under £30 so this works out to be just £7.50 per treatment, which I think is exception value based on the fact that you are getting a professional facial. I found that the capsule didn’t fully dissolve away after my first treatment, so I was able to save that for my next!

Anyway, back to the oxygenation effect itself. What you then need to do is turn the Geneo on and again use circular motions to activate the ingredients within the capsule. It’s the reaction between the gel and the capsule that actually creates the bubbles, and this is really satisfying to see happen! It felt quite tingly at first, (in a nice way) which is a good sign to me, as that made me think that something was really happening here. I managed to complete my entire face in under 6 minutes, which was perfect a I don’t have much patience! I found that adding drops of water to the capsule meant that the capsule was more reactive, the bubbles that formed were bigger and bubblier! I noticed that my skin started to look a little red, which initially concerned me, as aforementioned, I do have very sensitive skin. I then realised that the redness wasn’t a bright, alarming red, is was more of a dewy red shade, which made me think that actually this wasn’t any kind of sensitivity but actually the glow from within that the Geneo makers describe:

To make this point…I’m going to show you what happens when you add one drop of lemon essential oil to the bottom of a styrofoam cup.

I’ll leave it alone and show you the results in a couple of minutes. You can even put Lemon vitality into a vegetable capsule - a common combination is equal parts of Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint vitality essential oils. You’ll find us doing this one mainly in the spring time. But you can easily combine lemon vitality with other vitality oils of your choice. Once you’ve made the capsule either swallow it immediately or put it in the freezer for a couple of weeks, otherwise you’ll quickly make an oily mess. Now, even though Lemon is a wonderful summer smell to me, it’s great to take internally during the winter. How about this warm spicy apple punch: Combine 2 quarts apple cider (or juice), 2 cups orange juice and 1 cup of pineapple juice into a large pot and let it simmer over a low heat. Then add the following vitality essential oils: 5 drops of Lemon, 4 drops of cinnamon, 1 drop of clove and 1 drop of nutmeg. This recipe makes approximately 10 cups, and you serve it warm. Now, something for the adults…Winter Whisky: Warm up 1/4 cup of honey and add 3 shots of whisky and 6 shots of water, where 1 shot equals 1 oz. Then add your essential oils: 6 drops of Lemon, 2 drops of the Thieves blend and 8 drops of Orange. Or make a lemon martini with 2 oz of vodka, 1 oz of simple syrup, 5 drops of lemon vitality essential oil and 1/4 oz of lemon juice for an added tangy twist. You can even add it to a turmeric infused honey for a boost during the colder seasons. Take 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric and add it to 1/4 cup of raw honey. Then mix in 2 drops of Lemon vitality and cover as you may store this at room temperature. Stir the contents before each use and take 1/2 teaspoon several times a day. Or simply add 1-2 drops of lemon vitality to a teaspoon of honey and put it down the hatch. I like to add a couple of drops of Copaiba as well for added benefits and to soothe some of the heat from the lemon. We commonly use Lemon vitality in our kitchen. It adds a bright and dynamic flavor to many dishes we cook from around the world. Why not add a drop or two to savory foods like fish, chicken, vegetables, noodles, rice and pasta, or sweet foods like pastries and cakes. What about adding a drop next time you have a plain or vanilla flavored yogurt? Or add 2-3 drops when you want to give a lovely fresh twist to your salsa. It’s very convenient to use instead of zesting or juicing. My husband nearly always uses it when creating vinaigrettes or marinades. It really does add a bright taste to summer salads and grilling. Back to our styrofoam cup…

And the lemon is going to continue to eat away at these chemicals. Lemon is powerful and gets down to business. This is why it’s ALSO so good in DIY recipes for the Household Lemon can be added to cleaning solutions to infuse them with a fresh citrus scent, AND it has cleaning power too! Here are some recipes: Furniture Polish: Mix together 1 tsp of olive oil, 1 tsp of water and 2-3 drops of Lemon Essential oil and apply with a soft cleaning cloth. You’ll want to make this fresh each time. If you don’t yet have the AMAZING Thieves Household Cleaner, which also contains lemon (a very important ingredient ), why not use this recipe for a window cleaner. Mix 1 cup of white vinegar, 3 cups of distilled water and 10-15 drops of Lemon EO in a spray bottle for sparkling windows and mirrors. Or, this recipe for a floor cleaner: 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1 bucket of hot distilled water and 5-10 drops of Lemon, Tea Tree or Purification essential oils. Of course, I prefer the Thieves Household Cleaner, but in a pinch this is what I would do. Or use 1-2 drops of Lemon essential oil on stains. Let it stand and then rub it off with a clean cloth or throw it into the laundry cycle. However, if you do have the Thieves Household Cleaner, but need a little extra elbow grease for a build up of soap scum, tile grout needs brightening or marker mishaps, I highly recommend this soft scrub: 1/4 cup Thieves Household cleaner, 1 tsp distilled vinegar, 10 drops of lemon essential oil and 1 cup of baking soda. Mix the first 3 ingredients together and then slowly stir in the baking soda. It makes approximately 8oz of paste, and I keep it in small mason jars so it’s ready to go when I need it. For a Dishwasher Detergent I mix together 1 cup of baking soda, 1 cup borax, 1/4 cup citric acid, 15 drops of lemon and 10 drops of orange in a large glass container. Add 1 heaped tablespoon per load. You could add a sachet of uncooked white rice to the container to absorb moisture. I commonly also add a drop of Thieves essential oil blend directly into the dishwasher for the sparkle and odor elimination. Even More DIY Recipes: Use 1-2 drops of lemon to remove gum, crayon, grease spots or oil. A couple of drops also removes the sticky residue from labels. Help keep your fruit fresh by adding 2-3 drops of lemon to a bowl of cool water. Soak the cleaned fruit into the water and stir, making sure each piece of fruit has had contact with the lemon. Drain, rinse, dry and place in a bowl. Of course, you can skip this step if you’ve cleaned your fruit and vegetables with the Thieves Fruit and Veggie soak. You’ll be amazed to see how that cleans up your food. You can also freshen dishcloths before they start to sour, by soaking them overnight in a bowl of water with a several drops of lemon. Also freshen your counter tops by adding 2-3 drops of lemon to a spray bottle of water and spritz your counters Let’s take another look at the styrofoam cup.… There’s no doubt that Lemon does its job!

Plastic particles can leach into the oil and then into your body one way or another, including if applied via a lemon mixture onto your skin. What is doliprane used for and indication?

Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and / or febrile conditions .

Powder for oral solution:

100 mg sachet: This presentation is reserved for children from 6 to 20 kg(approximately 3 months to 7 years).

Sachet 150 mg: This presentation is reserved for children from 8 to 30 kg(about 6 months to 11 years).

200 mg sachet: This presentation is reserved for children from 11 to 25 kg(approximately 18 months to 10 years).

300 mg sachet: This presentation is reserved for children from 16 to 48 kg(approximately 4 to 15 years old).

Suppository:

Suppository 100 mg: This presentation is reserved for infants weighing 3 to 8 kg(approximately from birth to 9 months).

Administration mode

Oral way.

The capsules are swallowed as is with a drink (eg water, milk, fruit juice).

Capsule taking is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age because it can lead to a wrong course. Use another form.

Dosage

This presentation is reserved for adults and children from 27 kg (approximately from 8 years old).

In children, it is imperative to respect the dosages defined according to the weight of the childand therefore to choose a suitable presentation. Approximate ages by weight are given for information.

The recommended daily dose of paracetamol is approximately 60 mg / kg / day, to be divided into 4 or 6 doses, approximately 15 mg / kg every 6 hours or 10 mg / kg every 4 hours.

For children weighing 27 to 40 kg (approximately 8 to 13 years), the dosage is 1 capsule 500 mg per dose, to be renewed if necessary after 6 hours, without exceeding 4 capsules per day.

For children weighing 41 to 50 kg (approximately 12 to 15 years), the dosage is 1 capsule 500 mg per dose, to be renewed if necessary after 4 hours, without exceeding 6 capsules per day.

For adults and children weighing more than 50 kg (from about 15 years old);

The usual unit dosage is 1 to 2 capsules at 500 mg per dose, to be renewed if necessary after a minimum of 4 hours.

It is generally not necessary to exceed 3 g of paracetamol per day, or 6 capsules per day. However, in case of more intense pain, the maximum dosage can be increased up to 4 g per day, or 8 capsules per day.

Always observe a 4 hour interval between shots.

Frequency of administration

Systematic catches prevent pain or fever oscillations:

In children, they should be regularly spaced, including at night , preferably 6 hours , and at least 4 hours.

In adults, they must be spaced at least 4 hours apart.

Renal failure

In severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 ml / min), the interval between two doses should be increased to at least 8 hours .

Doliprane Warnings

To avoid a risk of overdose,

To check the absence of paracetamol in the composition of other medicinal products

Respect the maximum recommended doses

Maximum recommended doses :

In children under 40 kg , the total dose of paracetamol should not exceed 80 mg / kg / day (see section Overdose ).

In children between 41 and 50 kg , the total dose of paracetamol should not exceed 3 g per day (see section Overdose ).

In adults and children over 50 kg , the total dose of PARACETAMOL SHOULD NOT EXCEED 4 GRAMS PER DAY .

The tablet or capsule is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age because it can lead to a miscarriage.

Precautions for use

In a child treated with 60 mg / kg / day paracetamol, the combination of another antipyretic is justified only in case of ineffectiveness.

Paracetamol should be used with caution in case of:

weight <50kg

mild to moderate hepatocellular insufficiency

severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance £ 30ml / min (see sections Posology and method of administration and Pharmacokinetic properties ),

chronic alcoholism,

chronic malnutrition (low liver glutathione reserves),

Studies in animals have not shown any teratogenic or foetotoxic effect of paracetamol.

Clinically, the results of epidemiological studies seem to exclude a particular malformative or fetotoxic effect of paracetamol.

As a result, paracetamol, under normal conditions of use, may be prescribed throughout pregnancy.

sYMPTOMS

Nausea, vomiting, anorexia, pallor, abdominal pain usually appear in the first 24 hours.
