4th Global Fashion And Design Week Attracted Many Countries

Noida: “Fashion Designers have broadened their boundaries and opted to showcase garments and fashion of different countries of the World. It was a great idea to bring the whole World together through fashion and design during 4th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2020,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of   GFDWN.
“Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future. Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works. Design is the intermediary between information and understanding,” added Dr. Marwah appreciating the designers for their sincere contribution and participation.
“List was pretty long of the participants who all were working on their piece of art. Research, planning, designing, execution and then presentation of garment has taken long time to all these young and talented designers from all over India. The purpose of the festival is to promote, highlight and showcase their product to the large audience,” said Ritu Lal Festival Director.
Akash Kiran prepared garments from Israel, Anjali Sharma  and Akshay Kumar opted Egypt,  Snigdha Kaushik and Anjali Nagpal designed for Gambia, Ankit Sharma for Fiji, Srishty Gupta and Apoorv Arya planned for Bulgaria, Bhavya Shuklaand  and Mehakdeep Kaur emphasised on  Brazil, Cheshta Jhamb brought clothes from  Afghanistan, Shivam Sharma and Dimple Pal designed for Turkmenistan, Sheetal and Dipali Agarwal worked for Tunisia.
Designer  Divya Negi designed for Serbia, Divya Sharma and Jyoti Chauhan for Kazakhstan, Shelly Mohan and Esha Grover looked upon  Iran, Hasim Malik for India, Jacqueline Gurung designed for  Romania, Jyoti Chauhan finalised for Hungary, Kritika Bajaj and Mansi Chaudhary  preferred Vietnam, Ruchi Yadav and Lalit Kumar for  Sudan and Mayank Bharti shaped for Azerbaijan.
Designer Pooja Patni and MD Mohsin designed Russian garments, Muskan Duggal opted South American country Guatemala, Swati Pandey and Muskan Khurana from Central Asia Armenia, Ramya Sharma and Muskan Rastogi finalised Morocco, Muskan Soni went out of way to do for South Africa,  Rinki designed for Georgia, , Shivani Saini for neighbouring country Nepal, Shobha Rani presented garments from Rwanda, Simranpreet Kaur concentrated on Montenegro,  Stuti Singh for Peru, , Vitika Singh and Tapsna Tyagi – Germany and  Vedika designed clothes from Panama.
The 4th Global Fashion and Design festival was planned and designed by ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT School of Fashion And Design & World Peace Development And Research Foundation.

Fashion gives you an outlet to speak your mind,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of 4th Global Fashion & Design  Week addressing fashion designers from all over India.
4th Global Fashion Week had to be cancelled because of the lockdown announced by government during due to pandemic in April in Delhi & Noida. All preparations were diluted to nothing and Global Fashion Week was changed to online assessment and named Fashion River this time,” informed Ritu Lal Festival Director.
190 Designers prepared their projects for display at Marwah Studios along with the research paper of the country they were working on.
Akashika Singh researched and prepared the project on Bulgaria, Alankrita Mahadik on Comoros, Aparna Joshi  worked on Iran, Archil Rathore opted China, Ayushi Patel preferred Germany, Cheena Bansal planned Guatemala, Harshul Kaushik on Gambia, Heena Alvi – Fiji, Jyoti Gupta – Germany, Kunika Bansal – India, Mahima Tayal – Guatemala, Mansi Jain – China, Pragya Yadav – Czech, Rehana – Afghanistan, Richa Tibrewal – Czech Republic, Shivani Chaudhary – Bosnia & Herzegovina, Shiwangi – Egypt, Shreya Gupta – Ghana, Shweta Verma – Brazil, Sonakshi Gupta – Azerbaijan, Sonam Chaurasia – Iran, Vinita  designed for Armenia, and Yukti Gupta  worked on the fashion of Hungry.
All designs and projects were submitted for final assessment to AAFT School of Fashion And Design. The fashion River was supported by ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry, World Peace Development And Research Foundation and film and cultural forums of more than sixty countries of the World.
