not to be dramatic but i actually feel like theres a decent chance that ascendant ursula, vaida, and renault could be in a banner together in the future

like. hear me out. ursula’s rivalry with vaida (who is ex-black fang member also). renault, like vaida- ex black fang member. it fits. bad news is thered prolly have to be nergal there too but :/ (put him in fallen heroes or something and add isadora + harken instead, esp since isadora has a support w renault itd work)

my only stipulations: ursula has sunglasses (at least as an accessory bc she hates the sun) and a long coat (for totally conspicuous reasons it is not a reference to anything ever) and renault is a healer. anything else is fair game

#this would just be like the magnum opus of good banners tbh #asc ursula was actually a joke at first but now im way too invested #i just think itd be cool to have a lot of the main female protags as asc versions (since theres already laegy and idunn) #and maybe plumie will eventually get one too #i think it speaks wonders abt their fashion senses when left to their own devices/mental stress #laegy has this weird chaotic sexy catgirl black rock shooter and somehow pulls it off. idunn is just like ethereal nature goddess #and ursula gets convinced to wear the this is what the reference outfit/fashion by kasumi (and em if im bein honest) #but yea this years banners are not great (except the literally lit wakes one) #6 was ok tbh. idunns character destruction sucked but it was inevitable considering ascendants/laegys before her #and on the plus side i can use it for juicy angst/unsetting stuff in the fic #5/4 were awful also. or like. meh. #i guess very meh. i think 5 wouldve bumped up if that guy fergus? i think was there imo. i liked his and karins banter #if 4 had had ishtore + liza or even better arione it wouldve done at least something for me lol #fallen was meh but expected (the ghb was ok/cool) #8 was also ok ish. which is weird to say considering i have colm + neimi + rennac + riev #but i think like 5 i was disappointed bc rennac without dozla is just :( #the wakes one and the start/midpoint last yr were just too baller (tbh the fates and the wolves ones too) #the wolves were all lovely and the fates one having no kids was just -chefs kiss- #and ofc knoll getting in b5 intro banner for free. lut + fern in the midpoint. yenfay in b6 intro (plus elms character!!!) it spoiled me lol #the seasonals that werent the wakes one (beautiful artwork/designs) and del + lut spring (henry was cute too) were meh also #gameblogging
