It's #SocialMediaDay Good Evening @GoodDaySac fans in 2004 @Facebook was born followed by @Twitter in 2006 and the world has changed since that time. Now in 2017 the world doesn't have to wait until 4pm 5pm 10pm or 11pm for news it's instant and it's fast in just 140 characters or a live streaming video via Facebook. We can now watch Live Sporting events such as NFL or even find out who won with stats seconds following the game. @GoodDaySac has evolved over the years as well. Gone are the Days of Marianne, Tina and Courtney checking faxes from viewers now it's let's put a question such as the #9amtopic out and get the response from viewers. Cody uses Twitter to Live Tweet hit Television Shows such as The Flash with the #CodyFlashMob as well as update you on any weather severe or otherwise that may occur in your area. Tina and Dave do a Facebook Live Live from Rover for the Fans so that they can interact and if a segment goes longer than the 2-3 minutes you may find a reporter go on Facebook Live to finish the segment or even bring you early reports before it begins. But they are not they only Social Media sites. You now have Instagram which is Julissa's favorite and perfect for pictures and now video. Plus you have Snapchat with fun filters that can change the look of any post you may do.
