#Many ppl say shit like “but since I feel so strongly abt it I’d defend it better” #Might be true but if u feel so strongly abt it then you’ll also feel more strongly when it’s attacked #Especially when ppl make it feel like ur point is dumb or unreasonable which is basically my strategy #Bc the point isn’t on how strong u put up ur argument it’s how well u defend it #And u can’t do that if ur angry or distressed in any form #Also another point is that u’ll have to imagine what points may the opposite side come up attacking ur argument #u can’t do that as well if u believe ur topic is %100 true and shit
